    I have been paying for this service for the past two years, having started it because of a sewage backup. It is unacceptable that they refuse to send help until my basement is flooded with raw sewage. Furthermore, they do not take responsibility for cleaning up the damaged contents, leaving me to hire someone else for this, which costs around $2,000. As a result, I am switching to Reliance Home Comfort Protection in Canada.

    Very shady company. For several years my plan prices have remained fairly consistent. Maybe a small increase annually, but very minimal. This year one plan doubles in price and when I call to find out why, all they do is read from a corporate script they are given. They can't provide any valid justification for an increase of double. Shop around and find a company that doesn't use deceptive business practices.

    First, they didn't have a plumber with-in a 200 mile radius. After waiting 3 days, I called my preferred plumber, less than 2 miles from my home. Then they never returned ANY of my calls. Not one! Never any explanation of anything. I sent the necessary documentation in, as required, then waited. And waited. And WAITED. I finally sent everything AGAIN. I was pretty stunned to get a "reimbursement " check for less than HALF THE AMOUNT. I called. I emailed. I called some more. Never once were any of my calls returned by anyone. None of the "customer service" people had answers to any of my questions. I put the check in my bank account. I emailed one last time, threatening legal action and to report SERVICE LINE WARRANTIES to the State of Wyoming plus a few scathing reviews on various internet sites. SERVICE LINE WARRANTIES stopped. payment. on. the. check. The amount was pulled from my account. Again, I made countless phones calls and sent emails. Nothing. Last week, another check arrived for the amount that was pulled from my checking account when they stopped payment. No explaination. Nothing. Still less than half reimbursement. I blazed off another email to the company and cc:ed the State of Wyoming Attorney General. A check for the balance arrived in today's mail. No note. No explanation. No apologies. Nothing. Due to the experiences I have had with SERVICE LINE WARRANTIES since FEBRUARY 2025, I wholeheartedly and most emphatically encourage you AVOID PURCHASING PRODUCT LINE WARRANTIES from them No matter, no how. Avoid them by all means possible. Im thankful I only had a plugged sewer line and not a collapse or anything that involved heavy equipment.

    The home serve agents do not know what they are doing. I’ve had 4 back ups now and not a single plumber has done anything because they said it’s not actively backing up. Yet I have had to pay $1200 to pay to have all of my flooring removed and floors cleaned. Never will I use them again

    I have had to use Service Line Warranties of American on three occasions now and each time the companies that were sent to our home were on time and simply put, got the needed repairs done in a reasonable amount of time.
