Hello All We had a restaurant owner who had a clogged sewer Line. We needed some thing done before opening up for Lunch. We asked another plumbing company but they were to busy and they recommended McVay Plumbing. They gave us a time that worked for us, showed up on time and took care of the clogged line promptly. I called McVay to give me an estimate to replace a sewage trap and find out why I had two back up sewage in the past 5 years . Luigi came and saw a sunken pipe and advised me to replace the trap , I didn’t shop around I gave him the job and trusted them to do it right. The crew came roughly 9 days after I signed the contract , I met Chris and Mark both did the work , they were easy to talk too , they listened to my concerns when they were going to backfill the area I didn’t want all the junk like asphalt and old pipes , they were so awesome and nice to work with . When they installed the vent pipe that sticks outside the ground , it was sticking out more towards the driveway I voiced my concern to them Luigi came a little bit later explained to me they could fix it with some adapter to bring it closer to the garden bed but there would be a fee ? This annoyed me a little bit , he saw the work I got my estimate and I should not have to pay an extra $250 to deviate the pipe . I said let me talk to my husband , my husband didn’t care and he said it’s fine, this is an honest review , Luigi was great to work with but at numerous time he mentioned time cost money this rubbed me a little the wrong way . When a customer isn’t shopping around give you the job without hesitation , you see what needs done once the estimate is written than let’s do this and not have extra cost , a happy customer will bring more business . He told me that it could cost me more if we have to dig more toward the house that I knew . Anyway I am glad it’s fixed and hopefully I will never have to deal with sewage in the basement . I also want to add I spoke to Tracy numerous time she was very nice and easy to work with ! Thank you very much I am a happy customer your employees are very polite and listen to any concerns that a homeowner would have when doing any important work .
