Appliance Service Center, a family owned and operated business is reliable, knowledgeable and timely. Dennis's honesty about products and timing of parts and when work can be completed is appreciated. We have been calling them for years and will continue.

After a week without a kitchen refrigerator, the LG is cooling. I hesitate to say it is fixed as the motor/compressor has been running non stop for 48 hours. I called the Appliance Service Center. I can expect a call back Monday or Tuesday from the service representative...hmmm.
To the real issue. The Appliance Center charged $565.00 for 2.5 hours of work. That includes the initial 15 minute diagnostic service call. I was told the $112.00 cost for that would be applied to my repair should I choose that route.
That comes to $200.00 per hour!!! Pretty outrageous. Unfortunately, it was that or buy another refrigerator.
We had to use an "authorized" LG service in order to have the cost of the compressor covered and to maintain the remaining 4.5 years of warranty.
I feel "dirty" after this entire experience!
My recommendations:
1. Never buy LG.
2. Stay away from the Appliance Service Center

Scheduled me within 2 days of my call. He was quick and affordable. I had my own parts and he didn't try to pull the "I can't out other peoples parts in" bs like some companies *coughSEARScough* tend to do. The service rate was cheaper than I was previously quoted from another company. I will be calling next time I have an issue with my appliances.

Fabulous!!! Saved us about $2,000 by repairing our Kitchen Aid refrigerator. Very prompt, professional, good work, organized...I could go on and on! I don’t hesitate to call Appliance Service Center whenever I need help with an appliance repair...they have repaired both of my ovens and my dryer in the past. I give them the highest recommendation!

Reliable, came on time. Assessed my refrigerator problem and helped me find a new refrig.at a decent price. Very honest guy. My brother recommended him to me. I'd be happy to recommend him to anyone.

As usual these people are right on the ball. Arrived on time, went right to work and fixed our aged dryer. Couldn't ask for more. Thank you.

Although EXTREMELY backlogged, they managed to service my refrigerator on a timely basis. Both the technician and the woman who scheduled my appointment were very professional and personable. I would highly recommend Appliance Service Center Inc to anyone who asks. THANK YOU!

This review would be a 4 or a 5 except for the fact that I needed and requested for two items to be fixed on my ice dispenser and that was the dispenser only was serving crushed ice and the light was not working. The dispenser issue was fixed quickly other than waiting for the part but the light at the dispenser was never addressed even though it was on the work order and the invoice and I asked the technician about it both times he was here. I can live without the light but it would be nice to have it working.

I'm thrilled to have found this family-owned business that's just a hop, skip and a jump from my house. I was extremely impressed with their adherence and commitment to safety during COVID. The repair they made to my dryer was extremely quick and reasonably priced. I will absolutely be using them again, and I've already recommended them to my family.

Called several places to try to get our LG refrigerator fixed (that suddenly stopped getting cold). The first place was going to just send a tech out to look at it. When I spoke to Debbie at ASC she asked so many questions! I had a case # from LG which she wanted, odds and ends of other paperwork, picture of the inside tag which gave her pertinent information. She then told me based on all of that when Dennis, the tech came out the following week he'd have all the parts needed for the repair. I called and cancelled the other appointment since I knew they'd do nothing toward repairing the LG, needed at least one other appointment to get the thing fixed...all along we're without a kitchen refrigerator. Dennis, the tech, was super friendly, efficient (loved our dogs), and got the LG back and working that day! Can't thank Debbie and Dennis enough for knowing exactly how to get the job done!

Very professional, prompt and friendly. Fixed an older dryer that wouldn’t heat and explained all issues. Reasonable and would recommend and use again.

the woman who is in the office is the most unprofessional and rude person i have ever dealt with. my dishwasher has been broken since october and any time i have received communication from them it is because i have called multiple times on end. i called for days and days on end between business hours with no answer. you have to leave a message for them to care about your business because i called every single day for 2 weeks with no answer. when i finally left a message i was called back and the front desk lady said “i’m sorry that you didn’t leave a message and that you caused a delay in this” the delay was caused because they do not answer the phones. the first time they visited my house was in october. they ordered parts for my dishwasher and never called me back to tell me that or to schedule a follow up appointment to fix the dishwasher. i would have known nothing about this had i not called multiple times in a row for weeks on end. when i finally got an appointment it was late november and i was told by the front desk lady that i would be called a day before my appointment with the time of their arrival. of course i had to call them again to inquire about the appointment time and leave a message. when she called me back she said she didn’t know when they would be there and that said she never told me that and would never have told me that and i said well that’s what i was told and she refused to admit that she made a mistake. i assume that if there is any response to this post it will reflect the lack of professionalism and rudeness as some of the other responses do. i cancelled my appointment because this company does not deserve my business after this. one month later and this company can not get it together. they need a new front desk lady she is ruing business.

If I would have read these reviews before they came to fix the dryer, I probably would not have called them.. But my son already had. .... Dennis came and took the dryer apart and showed me what parts needed replaced. He had all the new parts in the truck , and he fixed the problem!.. But he didn't stop there. he vacuumed all the lint that had accumulated underneath the drum, and said I lucky I didn't have a fire. He was polite, professional and reasonable.. I would definitely use them again!

Can't say enough good things about this company! They returned our call the same day, were very prompt with scheduling and kept safety first with their employees and our family! Our dishwasher is very old, and unfortunately unable to be fixed, but the repairman was upfront and gave us suggestions on the next steps. Would definitely use their services again!

Top rated in my experience. On the level assessment of problems with two major appliances so far. Fixed to perfection! Reasonable prices. Nice people in the Company helps a lot too!

The gentleman from Appliance Service Center came to my home this morning. He was very polite and professional, and knew exactly what he was doing. He had serviced my model of gas wall oven in the past. He told me exactly what was wrong, and gave me advice what to do to keep the oven going awhile longer. It is a 21 year old oven. The computer needed for this model is no longer made. I am grateful for his visit, and would highly recommend these people to service any appliance for me should I need the help.

I have worked with Dennis for many years and would highly recommend him and his work. His prices are also very reasonable.

Our washing machine stopped working this morning giving me some random error code. BOTH local appliance stores told me they couldn't get a technician out for 3 weeks. I called ASC and they were at my house in 2 hours and problem was repaired for a very reasonable price. Dennis can fix anything and is wonderful to deal with. Cannot recommend more strongly. Would give 7 stars if possible!!!!

Appliance Service Center is a business I would recommend highly to all my friends and acquaintances. When I called, my phone call was directed to Debbie who was very calming when I explained my refrigerator problem. She told me how to store my food to keep it cooler, how to monitor the temperature, and arrange a service call. She went out of her way to text Dennis the technician to see if he could make a stop at my house that day instead of waiting a week for an appointment. He agreed that he could and scheduled me in for a repair stop that day. Roughly 2 hours after my phone call Dennis was at my house. He assessed the problem quickly and proceeded to replace the old refrigerator fan. He was pleasant, professional, and a proficient worker. When he finished after 20 minutes, he was kind enough to explain what things from my refrigerator could be saved and what should be tossed. Appliance Service Center went the extra mile to help me. I appreciate it and I give them an A+ for response, service and reliability.
