Bill is as straight forward as they come. He won't try to up-sell you on any equipment or service that you don't need. And most importantly, he's very good at what he does.

I had Bill for over 20 years. Called him this year and he will not return any of my phone calls or let me know why he won't service my furnace anymore. Always said I was one of his best customers because I faithfully had my furnace serviced every year. Can't figure out want went wrong with him. Ask his helper to have him call me and let me know what the problem was. Never heard anything. Wish he would have enough courage to return my calls and let me know what the trouble is. He did call once and said he would be out when he was in the area --- that was back in February.

This is the worst branch I’ve dealt with. Unfortunately, it’s very close to me, but I now drive to a different location because pricing here is dishonest.
I was quietly quoted $23к+ and almost paid because I trusted them. Later I checked online and bought the exact same item the same day at another branch for $18К, a $5,000 difference!
This location also rarely has items in stock, and managers openly use profanity.
The Johnstone Supply itself may be fine, but this particular branch is rotten!

I could go into more detail and explain exactly why my quote/bill increased, but honestly I have no intention of returning to this branch.
The problem was not only the pricing, but also the negative attitude. Staff were openly using profanity, even when they simply did not hear me clearly.
Maybe I’m considered a “small customer” there and not worth the attention, but I did not experience anything like this at the Strip District location. Even though I’ve been there fewer times, they still remembered me and treated me professionally and respectfully.
In general, I haven’t faced disrespect like at North Hills anywhere in a long time.
P.S. In just the first week of 2026 I purchased around $30,000 worth of equipment. Maybe I’m still not a big enough customer to receive basic respect at the North Hills branch.

Very professional and timely service. Courteous and knowledgeable team came out to perform annual maintenance on our boiler and overall hot water heating system. Highly recommended!

Called these guys for a fall furnace tune up. 2 guys showed up, were down my basement for an hour, and charged me 99 bucks. One guy said that they had cleaned the burners as part of the service. Long story short the furnace never worked right as I had to call someone in who actually knew how to service a gas furnace. The problem was "TADAAAA....Dirty burners!! Look elsewhere, these guys are a joke , and not good at what they do.
