I requested an estimate on several furnace issues. Two of the several issues were resolved during this visit. The tech arrived 5 minutes after the earliest hour of the window given. I addition to being well within the time frame given, he was very courteous, kind and patient while I showed and described my problems. I quickly received individual estimates for the remaining issues.

Chris McMurray, the technician who came out for our repair was EXCELLENT, THOROUGH and Thoughtful. He explained our current issue and possible future concerns. Explained the benefits of the MVP Plan and we did sign up.

Called Mcvay this morning, technician Ryan came at the designated time. Ryan diagnosed the problem installed a new part and had the furnace working properly in no time at all. Thanks for the quick service.

Patrick was on a service call at my neighbor's home and I confronted him if he would look at one of our toilets. He checked things out and made the necessary repairs. He was very friendly and very knowledgeable. I would recommend McVay and plan on using them in the future.

Technician was very professional and courteous. McVay put my furnace in over 20 years ago when they were still Arendosh, it is still running and they have serviced it ever since. I have never had a problem with their courtesy and professionalism. I only thought the parts were overpriced, but I wanted OEM parts and that’s just Trane. I would recommend McVay to anyone. Just that it was over $800 for a blower motor and $1600+ total bill for the motor and a high efficiency filter.

McVay plumbing did an excellent job tuning up and cleaning out our steam boiler. It is 20 ot so years old and has some unusual quirks. Our technician did an excellent jobs figuring out all the quirks and has it running smoothly.

I needed plumbing work doone. Everyone I spoke to when I called were very nice and helpful. When the technician arrived he was very nice and looked at the work required and explained what needed to be done and gave me a price. I was very pleased with my experience with the company and would recommed them.

Very professional. Very informative. Rep called 15 minutes in advance before arriving. The furnace check was completed in good time. I was offered various tips and other information about preventative measures to help the longevity of my furnace- without a forceful 'salesman' feel or an attempt to frighten me into purchasing anything. I appreciated that very much.

I had a drop water system installed and I am happy with my purchase. My sales rep and installation team 5/5+. The unit itself was just a bit slow off the line 4/5. I had a weird odor when we first ran it, I had to run the regen cycle 4 times and now we have odorless soft water that feels amazing.

The price for the unit and features that I picked was close to $1,000 less than competitive bids - I had 3 other companies come out. The sales rep was friendly and informative without being pushy - one competitor used health "scare tactics".

The install team also fixed a small thing unrelated to the install that we had discovered during the bid process that I had intended to replace myself, but hadn't got around to yet. I will definitely use McVay again.

We chose McVay over several other HVAC companies to install our new Bryant furnace/ heat pump system a month ago because of their association with Lowes and because of their excellent online ratings. Everything went like clockwork, installation was mostly done in 1 day. Unit seems to be working well, much quieter than its 25 year old predecessor. Communication with the company ( email text and voice) has been excellent although their AI answering service is a little too realistic. When the current free one year maintenance plan included with the purchase expires we plan to enroll in the McVay prepaid home maintenance program (HVAC, plumbing and electrical) on a yearly basis. Technicians have been friendly, courteous, and knowledgeable. Worth 5 stars.

I’ve been using McVay for plumbing and heating for a few years now and have really appreciated their capable work and good communication. This year, I joined their Maintenance Value Plan, which provides for free system inspections and some other discounts, and so far it’s working well for me (in part by helping me anticipate expenses in advance). Matt fixed some longstanding oddness in my heating system setup last month, and T just went over the plumbing (plus fixed a leak and replaced a faulty valve that was part of a renovation).

Ryan K. and Chuck G. were so very great. Both were super friendly and extremely knowledgeable. They fixed my bathtub faucet and the drip coming from it and replaced all the pipes behind that were original from my 1950s house. They worked quick but did great-quality work. It works perfectly and it looks like it will last for another 15 years! Thanks again McVay Plumbing! And Ryan and Chuck!

I had my first service with McVay Plumbing Company,, The serviceman Josh arrived right on time, he was very thorough, knowledgeable and polite. I moved here from New York in February in our new home, we had an oil burner with a water heater attached. In NY I’ve never had natural gas and an electric water heater,, Josh was thorough in explaining all the differences between the two and if I wanted to replace my electric water heater down the road, he gave me all the information I would need he was very helpful,

Then after he left, Mike came to do the check on my HVAC , Heating and electric. He also was a very knowledgeable and polite young man. He was very thorough and like MIKE. He was very knowledgeable and explained everything he was doing, he also explain A filtration system on my AC, that goes inside the house, .he explained about everything I need to know about that system..

At this time I have only pros no cons.to report.
I was very impressed with their whole services , I highly recommend them.

Our technician, Zach was friendly, polite and professional. We called for an emergency repair early in the morning and he came out and quickly diagnosed our furnace's issue. He was able to locate the broken part and replace it the same day, truly a lifesaver.

They were very upfront about the pricing and he explained everything in a very satisfactory manner.

This company seems trustworthy to me, and I will call them back in the future for other HVAC needs for my home.

From what I could find online the repair cost about as average as it could be. Our inducer motor had broken, (after 17 years,) and the new one had to be the name brand for the brand "American Standard," which is what contributed to our job costing slightly on the higher side of the average cost. Stuff like that can't be avoided sometimes, unfortunately.

A great company all around, as far as I can tell.

McVay Plumbing (and Rob) were excellent and incredibly helpful! We had an outdoor spigot leak right before a massive storm - he quickly resolved the issue and was pleasant, clean, and proactive about answering questions. Communication about timing was clear, especially when things were very busy on their end. Highly recommend!

We were recommended to McVay by a coworker who had a positive experience. From the initial phone call to set up an estimate to our last communication working out the payment, we found the experience easy and affordable. We were able to add some different features to our system, since we needed a complete AC/Heat Pump replacement, and working out those details were smooth. We were very satisfied with the final cost, even with the additions, as compared to some of the other estimates we go. Installation was completed on time, and the installers were polite and mindful of keeping the workspaces clean.
