I have been using Mertz plumbing for a few years. They ALWAYS show up when they say. Everyone that has come is polite and professional, and takes the time to explain what needs done, what they did or plan B, if plan A doesn’t work. I have a mechanic that I trust and am very loyal to, and have used for 25 years. Now I have a plumber.

This is the first time that we needed a plumber at our current residence. Our sewage lines were backed up and raw sewage was overflowing in our basement and garage. We thought it was going to be the tree roots in our front yard that were blocking our sewage line.

We called Mertz plumbing and they came out a couple of days later. We were expecting the cost to be at least $1500. They diagnosed the problem as a clogged sewage line trap and unclogged it in 20 minutes. They were very honest and did not charge any unnecessary work. The cost was only $150. We could not be any happier and we will be using Mertz plumbing from now on. Very trustworthy and efficient

Called to set up an appointment, got one and the lady that helped me was nice. There was no issue with our location. Had to cancel due to a family medical issue. Called back to reschedule. I was met with a totally rude attitude from the female that answered the phone. She told me they didn't come out to our area. So... The only reason I'm giving them 2 stars is because of the first encounter. I called another plumber. Thanks to the call to reschedule, they lost a $700 call.

You Cannot Find a More Honest, Reasonably Priced Plumber! If you want folks who take care of your needs honestly and with great integrity, look no further. I would trust them with the keys to my house. They will do only what is necessary, charge you a fair and reasonable price, (much less than comparable plumbers) and come as quickly as possible. (Once we had a gushing leak and they came within 20 minutes!) They are a throwback to the "good old days" of small, family-owned businesses.

I scheduled with Mertz to have a toilet reinstalled. It wasn't a straight forward job because of the condition of the floor, which was uneven. The team, Dan & Heather, arrived early and had the job done in 45 minutes, even though additional drilling of the concrete floor had to be done. They were professional & the cleanup couldn't have been better. After having several bad experiences, I've found a "keeper" for my next plumbing job.

I discovered a leaky supply pipe to my water heater and called Mertz plumbing. I live down the street from them and they offered to come out and see if it could wait until the next day. They were here within 30 minutes and had replaced the section of bad piping within 90 min. Also had them fix my leaky toilet while here. Just outstanding service.

A true five star review. Heather and Dan did the requested repairs and did not add unnecessary work. They are both efficient, courteous, professional. Very reasonable price. You won't regret contacting Mertz Plumbing!

Hertz Plumbing did excellent repair and replacement of main shutoff valve and spraying leak on main line pipe. They were done in less than an hour and left nothing behind. Very professional and trustworthy.

I had a difficult job with underground water leaking into my finished basement. Jim was the first of several plumbers I called to come and check it out on a Friday, He showed up Monday and finished the job in a day. He also noticed a dangerously corroded gas pipe and replaced that.

Not a fair company. Blew me off twice and then when I tried to reschedule the owner could not give me a definite date. Frustrating experience!

These guys are amazeballs! Even with their busy schedule they managed to squeeze us in. Linda was super attentive with staying in touch and scheduling to a T! Sean came by and at first thought it was a simple snake job, but soon realized it was much more. He had NO problem going out THAT DAY, and, not only finding the parts, but getting the fix done, in the same day! Unfortunately we had a slight drip after, but as soon as they found out about it, Sean made it a point to stop by the SAME day, AFTER he punched out, (when we had an appointment for the following morning) to figure out what was going on! It was a simple fix, but still!! Great service and very pleased with the finished product. 100% suggest these guys!

Jim is a great guy. His hand shake is a contract. He's professional, courtes and does things right the first time. I've seen him work all night long to keep a family with a new baby have heat in freezing temperatures.

We were looking to move the flow of our rain water away from the house. Jim came and assessed the solution . He and his workers were prompt professional and easy to work with. Had the job done in two days and did exactly what he said they would do. We have gotten the run around from other companies and Jim came through. Only regret is we should have called him first

We were recommended to Jim from our neighbor who told us he was a good trustworthy plumber. We are so thankful we were able to get this recommendation and cancel our appointment with RotoRooter. Jim was friendly, knowledgeable and very successful in clearing our 2 backed up drains. He also made notes of some minor repair work that we could do ourselves, which we greatly appreciated. Price was very fair. We will be using him again for any further plumbing needs.

Shout out to Iron Dog Plumbing for 5 star service. When the gas company shut the gas off Sunday night for an outdoor leak, my plumber recommended Iron Dog for repair. Jim dropped off a space heater Sunday night and arrived promptly at 7:45 the next morning. The crew worked 7 hours in blustery sub-zero conditions replacing the service line. Communication during the process was great, clean up meticulous and the price was fair. I highly recommend Iron Dog Plumbing!

Trust. I trust Jim at Iron Dog Plumbing. I have been a customer now for close to 30 years. Jim is a great person and I trust him. He will never do a job that doesn't need to be done. When calling a plumber, there are companies out there who will lie about your job, Jim and Iron Dog will not. If you need a plumber and a person you can trust, call them.
