Perfection, Professional, Pure Happiness!!! Sullivan super service quoted me over $7000 for digging up the sewer line in the back of my basement. Roto rotor came said the problem is in front of basement quoted me over $9000. Over $16,000 for basement plumbing, sale the house and move became an option. I bought a snake, and a shopvac, for the last 4 years snaking and vac my basement 3 to 4 times a week. I put projects, events, and goals on hold because of this. I got an extra job, I decide I have to do this digging job myself. I looked for and tried any options. I saw Hydro jetting a couple years ago on internet. But no companies in Pittsburgh. I gave up searching and started saving $$$. Before buying my 1st pieces of equipment. I did one more internet search and found DAP Sewer Drain. You hear it, but I experience it. This man saved me Thousands of $$$$.
My whole basement sewer was blocked and clogged from the street to the back of the house. Amazing, DAP Blasted and cleaned out my whole basement line. He used his camera we found a hotel key card in the sewer line. The card was stuck diagonal in the pipes like a divide sign (\). He obliterated that key card. My sewer line was really bad, this man had to use extra nozzles, extra pressure boost. Not only did it destroy any clogs, it cleaned inside of the pipes. Watching these man run from one drain to the other making progress. You can see this man enjoys his job and had fun. The smell in the house was the 1st thing I noticed. NO More sewage smell!!!!!! No Digging, no replacing. Perfection, looking thru the camera my pipe our perfect, clean, and clear of any buildup. Professional, great communication from the 1st conversation, text reminders, accurate timing. Pure Happiness, my worrying, my goals everything quick change. Hydro jetting is a must. This whole experience was like watching a tiktok or YouTube video, this man came and did his thing. Don’t call anybody else. Highly recommended. His work effort earned all my future business. DAP plumbing put a new water service line in for me and did an excellent job. It was a very difficult and challenging job, but he didn't give up and finished the job at the low end of his bid range. Based on my experience, I would take the poor reviews with a grain of salt.

I hired DAP to move the gas meter and relocate some interior lines! he looks a good guy, nice, and good worker! He got the money he asked for, but I didn't get the service I paid for, I found one end of the gas line not capped, when I turned the valve to on position I figured it's uncapped, I ran to Home Depot, got a cap and plugged it myself! After that I still smell gas! Called the natural gas company they came in, tested the line and they found a leak where he fixed it! They turned the service off and locked it until I get it fixed! after many attempts to talk to him he texted me saying that he will come the following day, I waited him, he didn't show up and now he is not responding to my texts and calls! He just ignored me and left me with a very bad quality of work and a sh-ty type of customer service! I don't recommend him.

I had a major sewer drain back-up, and I initially called a national chain to repair. Their diagnosis was that the blockage could only be repaired by digging/replacing the entire line (cost of $4000.00+). I called DAP, and Dave arrived within hour, removed the tree roots, opened the blockage, and charged about $150. I cannot say enough positive things about this plumbing company for their honesty, professionalism, expediency, and fairness.

I called to repair my garbage disposal. Dave gave suggestions on how to do it myself and if it doesn’t work he said he will come. Instead of coining and charging me, he was very nice and his suggestion worked. You do not see repairman like him.

Dave was prompt, professional, courteous and knowledgeable. Did a very thorough job clearing a clogged outdoor standpipe. Made sure it was in good operating condition before leaving. Will definitely use in future.

I called Dave at 11:45 am on a Sunday and he called me back within 5 minutes and was at my house within 30 minutes to unclog my sewer. I made 5 calls to other places and he was the only one to respond. I will use him in the future and will recommend him to others for sure. He was prompt, courteous, and affordable. Thanks!!

We had a last minute issue with our gas service line the day before going into the hospital for the birth of our child. We called Dave, he gave us a fair quote and had the job complete by the time we got home which was amazing. He was also flexible enough to fix another issue that came up during the people’s gas inspection. Highly recommend!

I cannot say enough good about Dave of DAP Sewer and Drain. We had a hard time finding the combination of timely, affordable, honest, and thorough service after our exterior gas line failed. A friend came across a post in the Spring Garden Community group and sent it to me. From the first phone call until the completion of the project, Dave was informative, transparent, detailed, and professional. I've already recommended him to others and would give 10 stars if I could. An absolute pleasure to do business with. We will be using his service again when needed.

Unfortunately I trusted Dave with too much work and it was above his expertise. Instead of saying he was out of his element he pushed through. I’ve had to redo every single job Dave did for me at this point, it’s been roughly 2 years since I stopped using him. From house trap replacement, gas service, interior supply and drain. Roughly 10 separate properties, I’ve had to pay actual plumbers to come redo all of his work. 100% of it. I will say he can snake a clogged drain with the best of them, but that is it

Edit 2- now apparently he remembers me. Good one on prop condition Dave. we did a lot of service calls but the big expensive jobs were vacant, rough ins and excavation. All
Had to be redone by actual plumbers. Every bill was paid, I’ve never stiffed a contractor in my 8 years in Pittsburgh.

Dave from DAP is very dependable. Each time we have had plumbing issues at our HQ, we call him directly. DAP has (or has access to) every cutting-edge plumbing tool imaginable and they are willing to do almost any type of contractor work (though, in transparency, we have only employed Dave for plumbing issues). Dave is polite and does not beat around the bush. He is knowledgeable, experienced and never fails to meticulously clean up after his work before he departs. Speaking of, Dave has never left us without ensuring that our problems were completely resolved. That kind of service is seemingly unheard of in our current age. Thank you Dave. We, 100%, absolutely recommend DAP Sewer and Drain for plumbing issues if you're in the south western region of Pennsylvania and require professional help.

I have called Dave for service, but unfortunately, he is not taking responsibility for the mess that occurred while he was jetting the pipe. He’s not honest—he will find a lot of reasons to blame on you. He was supposed to come back but never did. We are not going to use him again. However, if you call him for service, make sure not to pay right away. Ask for an invoice and wait at least 10 days before making the payment. This will give you assurance that if something goes wrong, he will come back and make it right!
