I had a leak on a hot water pipe near the hot water heater(that I installed). It was a bad soldering job(my soldering job) in a tight spot near the floor joists and some furnace ducting. I did not trust my ability to sweat the pipes in such a tight space so I called Chris at All-Pro Pittsburgh Backflow. Chris showed up right on time. In about 30 minutes, Chris untangled my mess of copper and re-plumbed my hot water heater. I like to do my own repairs, but sometimes you just have to call the professionals. It looks great too! Chris came out the very same day we called. Instead of just going right at where we thought the problem was, he took some time to understand our house's whole configuration, and then he solved the problem at a site that was quite remote from where the problem seemed to be. This was a far cheaper fix than it would have been if a less-capable individual had tried to "fix" the problem by going straight at it, where it was manifesting. And, by doing it same-day, our general contractor could keep working. Then, Chris explained the organization of our house's plumbing system. That knowledge alone was worth the price. A nightmare situation was avoided, and it could not have gone better.

Chris arrived promptly and fixed the leak in my downstairs toilet. He measured my water pressure and gave me advice on how it should be monitored going forward. I had to get a dye test when selling my home, and thought I needed to get another type of plumbing inspection done. When calling around to get information and estimates, Chris was the most responsive and helpfully explained the process (I originally was getting the information mixed up and didn’t end up needing to schedule the other inspection). I had to have a backflo test done on my commercial bldg. I contacted Chris and he got me scheduled quickly and the job done quickly. He gave me suggestions on how to keep my pipes from freezing since there isn't much heat in that area of my garage. I will definitely call him again if I have plumbing issues.
