Chris was very nice.
He took care of the problem and explained to me how to rectify the problem.
He told me if in 7 days the problem reoccurs to call and he would come back and fix it with no charge.
He did a good job!

Chris (tech 4391) and team were very professional and got our clogged lines cleared in no time. Great job! The technicians even arrived early. We were very satisfied with their attention to detail and advice for the future.

Deceptive Pricing Practices: I called this company to get help with a clogged drain at a rental property. Before scheduling, I asked what the charge would be. The person on the phone repeatedly said, “it depends,” and would not give any kind of estimate or even an hourly rate. She told me the technician would come out for a free estimate.

When the technician arrived, he confirmed it was a simple clogged drain and immediately quoted a standard rate of $540. I asked why I wasn’t told that rate over the phone, since this was supposedly the “standard” charge for clogs, and he said that’s just their flat rate. He said this was a common complaint.

If I had known upfront that their “standard” price for a basic drain clog was $540, I would never have scheduled. The way it was presented — as if pricing varied depending on the job — was misleading and wasted everyone’s time. I would not recommend this company due to lack of transparency and deceptive pricing.

It took multiple phone calls to get my service person to the house. Even before my appointment time, it was pushed back. They stopped sending updates. Apperently, booked appointments get pushed back after emergencies. Bad practice. Rude dispatcher who told me if I didn't like it I could go elsewhere. My appointment was on the books a week before hand. Not cost efficient either. 20 minutes, 600.00.The technician was kind and answered all my questions and offered tips to keep things running well. The only reason I gave any stars ar all was due to the face to face interaction.

A rogue tech dropped our job and quit on the spot, Roto Rooter went above and beyond to make it right. They sent out another tech with a field supervisor immediately, and were able to remedy a really tricky situation by the next morning with Justin’s knowledge and skilled experience.

Roto Rooter absolutely did the right thing to remedy a situation they had little control over going south. Seriously, this company did the right thing. That’s rare.

Brandon, Tyler, and Justin (Baby J his nickname?) were absolute rockstars! I couldn’t be happier with their customer service, work ethic and character.

Made an appointment for 9am-10am on Friday. My toilet was having issues where it randomly would clog whenever flushed, probably a blockage in the line.

I Received a total of EIGHTEEN text messages “ Hi , this is Corinna from Roto-Rooter. We are running behind schedule for your service call, but you are next in line. We appreciate your patience, and I will text you when the technician is on the way.”

I check their app at 11:45 it says my technician arrived and “service was in progress” which is funny because no one was at my house.

12:30 hit I called and spoke with someone who told me to be patient they assured me I was next in line. Another few hours passed, a tech showed up for “water damage assessment” there’s no water damage I have a clogged pipe, he said it was a “free service”… I told him nowhere did I say I had water damage. I asked whim where the actual tech was he said he didn’t know and he couldn’t help.

At 4:50pm I got a call from a woman at Roto rooter telling me a tech was going to come available and giving me a 30-45 minute heads up. Obviously I told her to cancel and that was insane why would I give a penny to this company? 9am appointment and they’re telling me they’ll show up around 6pm? They continuously texted me to tell me I was next in line from 9am to 5pm which was an obvious lie.

Lesson learned call a local plumber, this company is the worst. If you want to waste your whole day call them, if not call literally anyone else. Since they’re corporately owned I’ll provide my feedback to their parent company as well. Waste of a day

Great service. They came out the same day and gave me quote without requiring a service fee. Corey was very knowledgeable, friendly and professional. The price was reasonable and the work well done. I will definitely call Roto-Rooter and ask for Corey for my plumbing needs in the future.

Kyle drove to Portland all the way from Salem and fixed our toilet in 30 minutes. He was so kind and helpful, truly the best we could've asked for after a rough day of dealing with a huge clog. Can't recommend the company enough!!

Our kitchen double-sink was clogged. Tried the rag in one to clog and toilet plunger in the other sink to cause suction to help unclog but still clogged. I tried multiple attempts with boiling water method. Had standing water in dishwasher which made me uneasy to use any harsh chemicals if problem was also with dishwasher. So after any attempts I tried myself, contacted Roto-Rooter. Highly recommend Kyle who was the service technician that came out. He had read the notes I left when scheduled online and answering any questions I had. from trying to attempt it myself. He thoroughly explained the problem and promptly fixed it. He was friendly, professional and I trusted his expertise. Will use Roto-Rooter for any plumbing & water cleanup in the future.

One of the best plumbers you can imagine! Drive over an hour to help fix a massive clog! Showed up with the best energy you could ask for, and totally turn the night around. He had the problem fixed within 30 minutes, and had us all smiling the entire time. Highly recommend Kyle!

Really nice guy named Mag came out today and unclogged both our upstairs toilet and kitchen sink. He did a great job, but what was even more valuable was the advice he gave moving forward for how to put enzymes down the sink, what not to put down the disposal, and how our very old toilet will always be prone to clogs because of the design. Now we feel like we have a plan in place. He was also great with our dogs, and we felt safe with him in our home as a queer family. We’ve recently had people out from Roto-Rooter on three occasions (unrelated… it’s an old house) and we’ve been very happy with all of them.

Had an emergency at one of our locations. Kyle was there in an hour and got it done quick. He broke down prices and walked me through the fixing process. Very professional and I could tell he actually cared about customer satisfaction. Extremely satisfied customer here.

Very responsive, they were able to help us within 24 hours. Kyle C. was incredibly courteous, thoroughly explaining the issue and quickly fixed with an accurate estimate for time and cost. Also helped consider preventative measures, and good discussion of options.

Kyle was super helpful and a pleasure to be around. We weren't able to resolve the issue today, but he handled getting everything scheduled and didn't charge us for his time at all. Overall, a very pleasant experience.

On New Year’s Day, we were hosting a bunch, when our basement toilet began to flood. It was flooding from the base of the toilet and the bathtub. Yikes. We called Roto Rooter and they were here within an hour. They were kind, compassionate to our situation and knowledgeable. Based on the presentation of the flood, Kyle was pretty confident that it was a clog in the main sewer line. He was prepared with a giant drain cleaning machine. He was quickly able to clear the immediate clog.
