Roto-rooter is the people to call. Was told might be 2 hours before they would be here they was here in 30 mins tops. First I met with Dave who takes care of all insurance claims super great guy..... But our guy Chris who told me he has been doing this work for 14 years showed ever but of that. He is beyond
amazing at what he does and full of so much knowledge. Thanks for being the company y'all are! And way to go Chris for making this such a great and easy process! The picture with the mop is before Chris the picture with no water is after Chris. And they are sending a cleaning crew!!!!

My exterior sump pump line was completely frozen. My sump pump was running every 5 minutes but no water could get through. Technician arrived and was able to remove about 4 feet of ice clogging my drain pipe and immediately about 12 gallons of water poured out! This saved my basement from getting flooded and my sump pump from burning out.

Bobby was wonderful and very thorough in installing my new water heater. Very professional and courteous. Such a great experience.

Jacob was very knowledgeable and friendly. He arrived right on time and finished the work in the amount of time I was quoted for. I will definitely be using roto rooter again.

Travis was great and really worked hard to clear our clogged kitchen sink on a Saturday evening. Had to work extra to get it clear…40 feet of line. Appreciated the efforts.

We had a backup problem in the basement. Roto Rooter was out here in an hour! Travis identified the clog as being from the kitchen / washing machine. He cleared it out and we were good to go. Awesome service! Travis was really nice and professional. Highly recommend Roto Rooter and Travis for any issues that arise.

Ryan was our tech who came out within 3 hours of making a call! He was super polite and worked incredibly hard. I would not hesitate to call Roto Rooter again! Thank you Ryan for everything!!!

We had an issue with our wax seal on one of our toilets in our house. We contacted Roto-Rooter and they sent someone out quickly to take a look at the issue and repair it. Our technician Brad was extremely knowledgeable and walked us through the whole process.

Anthony came out to address our situation that same day and provided knowledgeable feedback. This helped us decide the direction we were comfortable choosing for repairs. We would recommend and use roto-rooter again for future needs.

Just don't. Literally use anyone else. This is a big corporate company and they are after one thing - money. They are already expensive but they will be sneaky and find ways to overcharge you for any and everything they can. They will push you to submit any work to your insurance so they can rack up a large bill. They know exactly what they're doing.

My local plumber didn't have anything immediately so I called roto rooter out for a clog. That's it. It cost $480 to remove said clog. Holy cow, but ok, it's fixed and we have a usable bathroom again. Fine.

But then they insisted on checking for water damage. They wrote an estimate and made us to believe this estimate was IF there was standing water under my bathroom. I made the mistake of signing this estimate.

So, I unfortunately let them rip up my floor to look, and guess what, no standing water or damage!
There was however some moisture from water being forced out behind the toilet due to the clog.

They suggested placing some industrial fans in the bathroom for a few days to dry it out, no problem.

I thought, great, glad there's nothing major here. Let them set up fans and then received a additional bill of $2500!

When I questioned this they asked me if I was submitting this to my insurance? Because that's how they do it.

I reached out asking where in the heck they got $2500 and the branch manager responded immediately. He said he was going to have his "water manager" reach out ...haven't heard anything for over a week now.

I'll end up paying it because it's not worth the hassle or any more stress, tears and anxiety.

Everyone we worked with was very pleasant and kind. They just didn't communicate properly and when you're going to charge someone $2500 it should be pretty clear.

This company is a scam. Just don't.

Backed up toilet. A mess! Roto-Rooter was able to come out the next morning and Ryan was our technician. He was professional and kind and did an amazing job! He had to clear the main line. I would definitely have them back for any other issues.

Now 2 for 2 excellent experiences!
First time was Tyler, this time Travis. Both were exceptionally professional, great communication, respectful of my home and pets, and got the jobs done. Everyone I spoke to from beginning to end has been great. Thank you!

🚫 Stay Away from This Company – They Only Care About Your Money, Not Your Problem

If I could give zero stars, I would.

I’ve spent over $1,000 with Roto-Rooter, and my plumbing problem is still not fixed.
Here’s what happened:
• First visit: My tenant reported a clogged kitchen sink. Roto-Rooter came, charged $500, and said it was fixed. Few days later, the sink overflowed again.
• Second visit: They said it’s a main line blockage and charged me another $600. They promised a camera inspection to confirm the real cause.
• When the plumber came for the inspection, he stayed two minutes and left. My tenant said he didn’t do anything.
• I called the office and was told they’d check with the plumber (his name was Ryan) and get back to me. Guess what? No one ever did.
• Two days later, the basement flooded again.

When they finally did the camera inspection, they sent me a $5,200 estimate—and refused to show me the camera footage, saying it “belongs to the company.” Excuse me? I paid for that inspection!

Every time they come, they claim it’s a different issue and ask for more money. There’s no accountability, no follow-up, and definitely no professionalism.

This company is not focused on fixing problems — they’re focused on milking customers over and over.
Save yourself the frustration and find an honest local plumber who actually cares about doing the job right.

Terry was very friendly and made you feel at ease with my issue. He explained everything so I could understand the issue and what was wrong to fix the problem. He cleaned up thoroughly and made sure nothing was left behind. I would have Terry out again to fix any other problems.

My sump pump evac line was frozen shut and fully blocked. Terry came out and promptly engineered a temporary work around until the line was able to thaw. Well done all around and great service.

We had Travis out with Roto-Rooter and he was incredible. Our water main broke inside, we had to involve the city (twice) to handle turning the main water on/off, and Travis was super flexible and compassionate towards our issue. Our leak was resolved with as much ease and precision as possible considering the situation. i really couldnt be happier with the service. Will absolutely be reaching out to them again in the event my home is in need of repairs.

Terry was knowledgeable, professional, friendly, and offered me a suggestion for a coupon discount on my faucet leak repair. The job was finished quickly and I'm so thankful to know it's done right! Thanks, Terry and Roto Rooter!

Roto-Rooter Tony was outstanding. Gave me options on my little problem, and I actually had him do a bit more extensive repair than what was required. He also was happy to look at another issue at the house and give me recommendations/a rough quote price. Couldn't ask for better, or more friendly and knowledgeable, service.

Brad was quick, kind and helpful! He was in and out of the house within 20 minutes. The whole process was painless and easy. Will definitely reach out again if we have plumbing issues!
