When I called SB Carbone on Saturday and came over did not do much, the charge is outrageous. They came back on Monday change the vent damper and charge again with labels. 2 days later I got the bill it was outrageous . When I saw it look like rid people off and ridiculous of the charge. I don’t highly recommend this service. This is might be the last time .

Was in a pickle with no hot water. SB Carbone had the old tank out, new tank in, and hot water running within hours! Professional, up-front, explained everything, all that good stuff. Will 100% be doing business with again!!

Just had a great experience with SB Carbone Plumbing. The plumber, I believe his name is Angelo Rotondo? Came out in the blizzard (1/4/18) and quickly identified the problem, explained it to us and fixed it. Highly Recommended.

Quick, friendly and professional. A relief that they came the next day! Steve explained what had to be done and Bill was fast and efficient changing out the lead bend. (We’re planning on making sinkers from the old stuff! ) highly recommend .

We had a problem with the water heater and called Carbone. They were very busy but squeezed us in since we had no hot water. Very professional and efficient. They even followed up with a call to make sure everything was working properly. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend this company. Highly satisfied!

Had them look at a thermostat. Quick fix, no parts but was told that the charge was a “$225 flat fee.” When I balked at this and said they had come out to do much more of a repair on our furnace the year before and charged $175, the repair guy texted the office and then said, “ok. You can pay $175.” I totally felt like they were ripping me off. If you decide to use them, ask for a ball park figure BEFORE they come to your house!

Maybe I caught Steven Carbone on a bad day because he was really not pleasant to deal with on the phone. He seemed annoyed that he had to talk to me as I explained my issue. When I asked if someone could meet me in the afternoon (around 4pm), he refused. Steven explained that he keeps strict bankers' hours and asked me why I couldn't find anyone to meet him earlier. I guess he only does plumbing for people without jobs. Then he started rushing me off the phone because he was getting other calls. That was enough me. It's possible Steven does good work. I just couldn't get past his bedside manner and strict working hours to find out.

My water heater started leaking in my basement so I called SB Carbone. I had called them because I had another water heater from Home Depot seven years ago that was leaking. I called them about the situation and Steve, the owner, bent over backwards for me and did the job for a great price and quickly. So when this water heater started leaking,
I decided to call them again because I got this water heater from them seven years ago. Plus, they were wonderful to deal with. I decided to do business with them again. I called and a plumber from the company contacted me right away and told me I needed a new tank. It was out of its warranty. Then I asked for a price. The plumber quoted me a price of one thousand two hundred. So I said yes but I wanted to pay payments because I do not have the whole amount. The next day, another plumber from the company called me and told me he was coming to do the job. I explained that I wanted it done because the water heater was leaking but would have to pay payments. I would give him a certain amount when he came and did the work. Then I would pay payments. He said if I was a former customer, that would be fine, but he would have to tell the owner, Steve. Steve called me immediately and was so rude and arrogant to me. I started explaining how they bent over backwards for me last time and I appreciated it. That's why I called them again for the job. Steve said, "Lady, I am a busy man. I dont have time for stories! " I was so shocked he was speaking to me this way as a former customer. Then he proceeded to be mean to me because I asked him if I could pay payments along with a certain amount I was going to pay them for coming out. He proceeded to tell me, in his own words, "how many times he has been screwed by customers." No class! He belittled me on the phone , spoke to me like garbage, and was so rude. I would never recommend them to my worst enemy. He lost a customer. I gave them 1 star and that is being nice, they deserve none. Steve, treat customers the way you want to be treated! I dont care how busy you are! It is customers like me that keep you busy! Dont contact me, I'm too busy!

On the 24th of January 2020, a technician by the name of Jeremy arrived at my residence in Pawtucket. Jeremy was very knowledgeble, he was able to replace the hot water tank under two hours. He was professional he was courteous, the job was completed professionally. I am totally satisfied with the level of service provided. I thank you so much for such an outstanding job keep up the good work. I will recommend Steve Carbone Plumbing and Heating Co.

Terrible service. They are not 24 hrs as they claim. The plumber that was sent to me Gil claimed to have experience with tankless water heaters. Day 1 it was clear he did not and caused me to have to replace my whole system. Very unprofessional and not once have I heard from owner as requested. Do not recommend! I used this company regularly in past for basic plumbing issues and they were fine. I am not sure what happened!

We had an emergency with our main water valve and it was leaking which caused the city to come out and turn it off. Very nice people to speak to! They called me the morning after I reached out which was very nice since it was a Friday night! Every other place was priced outrageous! Angelo came out Saturday morning and within a max of 20 minutes he replaced our main water valve for such a reasonable price! Thank you Angelo and SB CARBONE PLUMBING!

Steve and his team were great to work with! They were quick, clean, and extremely pleasant. From the initial call, doing the work, and the billing process the communication was easy and efficient!

After 1 week without heat and two “5 Star” companies that neglected to show up, Angelo promptly returned my phone call and asked about the problem I was having. He said okay I’ll come by and see what we can do. Him and Joe arrived at my home less than 20 minutes later. They assessed the problem, knew exactly what was going on and how they could fix it. I needed a new circulator and a cracked pipe repaired. They had the part and tools already with them and repaired the issue in about an hour. They were both great to work with, very personable. I found the price to be reasonable as well. I will definitely be calling them again if needed. Very happy customer :)

Angelo has been my serviceman for years, he is very knowledgeable and hardworking. I always feel in good hands with Angelo, Joe and his team. They are very flexible and fix my problems the same way they would fix their own. Everyone from dispatch to billing is a pleasure to work with. Thank you again for fixing and replacing 3 toilets on a Monday with no advance notice!

SB Carbone was highly recommended by a friend, and we couldn't agree more. We had a small leak, and they were able to show up the next morning and fix the issue quickly. The plumber explained the work being done, where various shutoff valves are, and gave overall advice on the condition of our system.
Price was very responsible for a response on such short notice. Would absolutely use again and highly recommend.

Let me start by saying I have never complained online about my decisions but after 2 years, I feel compelled to do so. I feel like Steve took advantage of an emergency situation when my furnace died and needed to be replaced in January, of course. Without getting into details about being a full time caregiver for my disabled wife, the more people I speak to, I've come to realize the price I did agree to and paid cash for seems to be double what the real cost is. Too bad the amount below stops at $1,000.00+. Hope you had a nice vacation.

Very responsive, handled an urgent situation and worked quickly despite being a difficult job. Reasonably priced. Definitely the hero of the day when it came to our unexpected plumbing disaster. Highly recommend!

Great communication, they responded immediately to our calls, always keeping us updated with arrival time and status. They went out of their way to take care of us and had very resonable prices! Best of all is how nice and personable they were; you could tell they honestly cared about us! We would definately use them again and we would reccomend them to anyone in need if a plumber!
