Plumbing reviews in Warwick, Rhode Island

Non professional driving of company vehicles. . Driver seemed to be in a rush and decided to cut off right turning traffic by using the breakdown lane. Integrity is doing the right thing when your not being watched and id say I saw little to no integrity with the driver of said van. Would post the dash cam picture and video however google will not allow my file type

Thank you! Thank you!!!!!
For getting my boiler fixed in such a cold winter day. First Liz called me back and got the technician, John at my house right away.
This company is amazing, I am very happy and going forward I will be trusting them to do the yearly maintenance.
Liz you rock !!!!! -
Update: On January 24, 2020 my condo property manager called to notify me that the downstairs unit owner complained of a leak from my unit which had damaged his ceiling. The condo association's plumber came out to inspect my tub and fixtures on Jan. 27th and determined that the overflow faceplate was installed incorrectly causing the leak downstairs.
So not only did I in good faith pay Riley Plumbing for their "work" but now I'm having to pay for the damage they created and did not rectify when I asked them to. It's pure negligence! If I could, I'd give them 0 stars.
I'm reading all these wonderful reviews and had hoped that I myself would have had a good experience. I'm also noticing that all the reviews here come from male customers so maybe that is where I struck out. I was referred to WJ Riley Plumbing so I felt pretty confident about calling. They had several questions when I called, which I answered as best as I could, not really knowing much about plumbing. He asked if I purchased the tub fixtures to be replaced, I said I did and hopefully they are the right ones. They never sent anyone out to look at the proposed job, never gave me an estimate over the phone. On the appointed day, the tech was very punctual and went right to work. He determined that the parts I purchased would not fit, as I purchased a Delta and it needed a Symmons, "but you couldn't have known that since the name plate was not on it", he said. I said, what now? Do you have parts in your truck? No, nothing in his truck. He said that I, the customer, would have to go back out to a Home Depot or Lowe's to purchase the right parts. I said, I'd rather you go since you are the plumber and I've already gotten it wrong once. He said, " You want me to go?" I said "Yes, since I know nothing about plumbing, wouldn't it make more sense? Home Depot is less than a mile from here". He insisted I go, and later told me that he never goes to pick up supplies for a customer. That made no sense at all to me. I got the parts and gave them to him and left him to his work. When he was satisfied with the work, he started packing up. I went to look at the finished product and found that he had mixed old parts with the new, chrome and brushed nickel. He never removed my old drain, just plopped a new one on top. When I questioned him about these things, you could cut the awkwardness with a knife. Not wanting to make him uncomfortable, I paid my bill and decided to take it up with the owner. I uploaded pictures for the owner to look at but, all to no avail. I was wrong, they were right in doing the job that way because it is what I told them over the phone and those were the products that I bought. Some items in the box were not even opened for use or the job may have been done correctly. I say consumer beware, especially if you are a female! Anyone who does not come out to look at a job, gives you no estimate, expects the customer to purchase the right products though they are not plumbers, is not someone I would call ever again. -
I had a leak in my boiler and my heating oil company said we would probably need a new boiler. Upsetting because it is only 15 years old and would be an unexpected and maybe $10,000 expense. Riley Plumbing had the problem fixed the same day for $325. They are very clean, showed up when they said they would, and charged a fair price. My parents used them since to fix a couple of leaky faucets and they have the same glowing reviews. Thank you Riley Plumbing!

We contacted Riley Plumbing to fix broken water connector pipe under the Bathroom sink, They sent a plumber on July 29, 2021 to fix the plumbing issue. Plumber said that connector pipe can be replaced in $35 or entire faucet system can be replaced. we chose to replace the faucet system and procured the faucet ourselves. On August 2, 2021 plumber comes and performs the job. We paid $410 for the services as per the invoice. In the evening of August 2 2021, we noticed a new leak under the sink from p trap and contacted the Riley office again. Same plumber came on August 3, 2021 and in the process of fixing the leak, cracks the sink. Plumber asks us to contact the office and leaves. We have been contacting the office almost every business day via phone or email but broken sink has not been replaced yet. At the time of writing this, date is 8/23/2021 and no action has been taken to fix the broken sink or broken plumbing. We are surviving with one sink in the house for almost a month after paying a $410 for the services.
Their response was rude in defending themselves, even though we never pointed finger at them. They kept us hanging in this situation with no resolution for weeks after weeks causing us inconvenience. I DO NOT recommend Riley Plumbing Services. Please go some where else and save yourselves from misery. -
WJR Plumbing folks were friendly, efficient & quick. The installation went without issue.

Great work. We are very happy with their work and professionalism. Nobody wants or expects to have plumbing problems, but I would not call anyone else next time we have an issue.

Harry and Alec came to our home to find where a leak was coming from in the kitchen to the basement. They were neat, professional and excellent communicators throughout the process. Would highly recommend William J. Reilly Plumbing.

Always reliable, professional and reasonable. Dave Palmer is a master at his craft. I highly recommend!

David Palmer and his technician we're very thorough. David explained all the issues that were happening with my heating unit and he has made some suggestions about some of the work I will need to have done in the future, which I fully appreciated. They did a great job and were very professional and courteous.

My realtor referred me to William J. Riley Plumbing after I purchased a house. I needed to have the gas shut-off for the kitchen stove moved from under the floor to behind the stove. I also needed to have new PVC added to the clothes washer drain because the pipe was not to code, was too short and the water could back up. And there was a leak under the kitchen sink. The plumbers were very professional and I was very happy with the results. I plan to contact Riley Plumbing when I need plumbing work done in the future.

Great experience with Riley plumbing & Heating. Having purchased a home that was built in the 50’s, we discovered some leaks when winterizing our pipes. We also had a rotted valve that was leaking above our washing machine that needed to be replaced.
My father has been a customer for 10+ years so he recommended Riley to check it out. They arrived on time and got the job done within an hour. Very professional crew, would strongly recommend. -
I have had multiple plumbers and contractors in my home over the last month, all took a look at a leak from my bathroom stall shower, diagnosed it as a pan leak. All wanted to rip out my beautiful granite to replace the pan. Then Harry and Alex came to my home and took their time to do a pan test, and you know what? The water was coming from a seam outside the shower, not the pan, drain, shower head etc. If Harry had not been the conscientious person he is, I guarantee I’d be spending $30,000 to replace my shower, instead of the $10 caulk I’m heading over to buy at Home Depot. Great service! Nice, decent folks too, professional to the max. Highly recommend.

After trying for 2.5 months to even get a call back from my regular plumber for some routine boiler servicing I contacted Riley. They got me on the schedule right away, their techs were on time, cheerful, and polite. They explained everything that they were doing and why, and worked diligently at the job. I’ll definitely be using Riley again.

Expert, punctual, and personal service. What more can you ask for?
I have been using Riley Plumbing for the past few years since purchasing my first home, and I can't tell you how much of a relief it is to know that if there is ever an issue that they will be on top of it. They keep my heating unit in good working order each year, and are quick to assist with any issues when needed.
I know that we are always in good hands with this team. I recommend them highly. -
Great job done installing a new boiler and hot water tank. So professional, diligent workers and they clean up nicely. 👍

WJ Riley is always fantastic, including the most recent visit to install a propane line for our built in BBQ. Efficient work, reasonable price and David always goes above and beyond and is a pleasure to deal with.

What a great experience. Woke up this morning, no hot water. Called the emergency line on a Saturday of all days. Came out and took a look. Harry who came out does more plumbing than heating. Had an idea but couldn’t fix it. We were set to live with it til Monday. Dave took it upon himself, came out and got us up and running. Can’t say how appreciative we are for that kind of service! 2 of the nicest guys ever to deal with. What an awesome company to work with.
