The entire process was quick and professional. We had a quote within 10 minutes of inspection and the install was scheduled within 2 weeks. We have a very large roof and from start to finish it was completed in 7 hours. This included replacing some decking, cleanup and final inspection. 100% recommend!!!

The two fellows that did the work were great. The lead man is very professional. He advised me when he was on his way. He minimized disruption of my schedule, he got the job done efficiently and explained what they did to prevent future leaking due to ice damming.

Great pricing and service. Scheduling took a few days since it's the busy time of year. They did come right out to answer questions that I had after the work was done. They tore down my leaking chimney. I got several roofing and chimney estimates and I'm very happy with their work and pricing.

Crooks. Roof was leaking so I called and got several quotes. Langley's initial (key part) quote was competitive so we decided to go with them. Their quote included redoing the roof, damaged sheathing, fix a gutter at my request, and an option they suggested to fix rotted wood on the chimney. The quote broke them down separately and we booked. The roof was completed in one day and the gutters were as well. The initial quote for the chimney repair was $650. This was not something I was initially looking for and decided to go with it only because they were already up there and we could properly budget for it.

They came out to do that repair and didn't start. They issued a new quote that required a $300 deposit up front and said they would do it based on material and labor as they were unsure of the amount of wood to be replaced. I thought that sounded fair. Every time they came out, I was at work and they did not communicate at all how many times or how long they were out there. After I started to wonder why the job wasn't finished, I contacted them to ask what the pricing was at currently, because it seemed to be dragging out. I received a response from them 3 days later after they had evidently been out there much more. The quote was at $5628 which included $378 of material and $5250 of labor, which I was told was 35 hours of work.

The initial quote....again....was $650. When I asked them how did you possibly go up 10 times the original quote, I was brushed off and told they did the work and I signed a contract that was per hour of labor. (although there is no way for me to confirm actual hours worked, just had to take their word). At no point when this quote started ballooning was I contacted with a "by the way, we are 3 times....4 times ...5 times higher than your original amount. No. It was a complete shock at the number given for a project that was an afterthought and not even what I called them for. I had only agreed to such a project because of the original cost. After days and days of asking them about this pricing, they said they would discount their hourly rate 5 hours which would be a $750 discount....As they evidently charge $150 per hour labor. When it was all said and done, I ended up paying $5500 for a project quote originally at $650, had no clue that they were ballooning the cost until it was too late.

EDIT: Adding one more picture of my the communication and what I was expecting. I was expecting what I was told somewhere in the ballpark of another $1200 give or take. I was fine with that. There was never indication of the final amount.

I had a small job, replacing an old roof vent. Located an hour out from Langley Roofing. The SMALL job and TRAVEL time was not an issue. Aaron & Roy are top notch professionals! Great COMMUNICATION and TIMELY manner from schedule to install.

They did a great job, roof looks great. They could have done a bit better getting the nails out of the yard. I know you can't get them all but I have my own magnet with wheels and I found 154 nails. I would recommend this company to anyone.

Langley was great, very professional and the service both times was great. Sheila and Steven were amazing. No hidden fees, Steven has serviced us twice. On time explained everything he was doing. Also walked us through everything he found. I would recommend them for any roofing needs.

Randy Baxter was our sales representative. He has a wealth of roofing, and roofing sales experience. He gave me a lot of very good advice, and was, in no way, pushy about sales.
Joel was our project manager. He has a civil engineering degree, and experience in that field. He provided us updates on the progress, and he, personally, made sure our yard area was completely clean.
José was the roofing crew foreman. He was very professional, and assured me that he and his crew would roof our house as if they were roofing their own. THEY DID! The work is excellent. Jose's crew were fine people, and worked very hard throughout the project. When I watched them work, they made me even more confident that I had made the right choice of my 3 estimates.

Sheila processed all of my payments and was very nice and helpful.

This is the team you want for your roofing project.

The total price was very competitive once you factor in the quality of the shingles (Certainteed), and the warranty that is available for purchase. This warranty for material, AND workmanship is valid for 25 years. Only installers that have met the Certainteed qualifications can offer this warranty.

If I ever need another roof for some reason. I'm calling Langley.

This was my first roof replacement. I got three quotes and the two others didn’t hesitate to say negative things about Langley.

In addition to being my lowest estimate, I can’t speak enough on how wrong those people were. Andy was my salesman, he answered any questions timely. Evan was my project manager and made sure to talk me through all my dumb rookie questions. The statements made to me by competitors couldn’t be further from the truth. They got me scheduled within two weeks and were on site when they said they’d be.

My roof was completed in a day and looks really good, I’m extremely happy with the color and workmanship. The crew was very polite, respected my property and picked up the job really well considering it had gotten dark.

Post installation questions have been handled with as much concern as pre installation was. So once they got paid, they still showed great customer service.

I went in blind and chose Langley, I’m glad I did. Give them a shot, you won’t regret it.
