Higher Ground did a great job replacing my old gutters with new 6" gutters and gutter guard. They were very professional in their communication and showed up when they said they would. Their prices were reasonable as well.

We were so lucky to find Higher Ground. I had a drainage culvert behind a retaining wall that needed attention. Being new to Tennessee I had no idea who to call about this so when I saw HG working in the neighborhood I got their number. When the owner Matt arrived he described exactly what i needed and quoted me a very reasonable price. His crew arrived and did a fantastic job. Seth and crew gave me a fresh culvert that was not just functional but beautiful. It's in an area that is not visible from either the road or by neighbors but they made it look so great anyhow. They far exceeded our expectations. Great company and crew. Highly recommended .

Warning! After 7 months not only did they not finish the job, it looks horrible! They damaged our property, left it unsafe for pets and people and they ghosted us. Leaving us no other choice but to take legal action.

We have used Higher Ground for a couple of drainage issues we had and were very pleased. Yesterday, we had them clean our roof and gutters and rake and remove all the leaves in our yard. The yard looks great. We will definitely use them again.

I have two reviews to give for the exceptional service we've recieved from Higher Ground here in Chattanooga, on two separate dates and jobs.

Last year, we had the bottom third of our driveway redone. To one side, a retaining wall constructed of ubiquitous but unreliable railroad ties was thoroughly decayed, holding back a large volume of earth at the base of the mountain our home is constructed on. We sought some quotes and decided Higher Ground was the best of them - they were able to answer all our questions while surveying the job for a consultation, understood what we were looking to accomplish, and provide excellent detail on what work would be done to get the job completed the right way.

The crew arrived to begin work on the scheduled day, removing the old ties and a portion of unstable earth with no waste left behind, and carefully continued until the new wall was completed. The results are fantastic in all ways - the wall is extremely solid and well built, stepped perfectly to our property grade, and expertly drained to prevent any hydrostatic pressure from accumulating from behind - a pipe emptying into a nearly culvert discreetly fitted below. Exceptional work which has received complements on its curb appeal, the aesthetics are also exactly what we had envisioned.

Fast forward to the second job, this one considerably more daunting. More railroad ties, but these along nearly the entirety of the front of our home, on a very steep grade surrounded by trees on three sides, and a lower deck on the fourth side. Accessibility for this job was minimal, and nearly all the work had to be performed by hand - removing the decayed railroad ties, excavating the unstable earth behind the decay, removing unwanted shrubs along the wall line - then installing proper drainage as before, backfilling with gravel and covering the top soil up to the lower deck at our request, then putting up the wall to match the one below. The earth held back was extensive and crucial, as it supports the home's foundation. Not only this, but water and sewage lines were in the path of the job underneath.
This was the type of job other companies would not even attempt or provide a rational quote for.

The job took a week to complete. But again, Higher Ground delivered exactly as we had hoped, and without any problems or last minute charges. The wall is, as the previous, perfectly constructed and uniquely shaped to fit the property - drained exactly as it should be, perfectly level and aesthetically beautiful. Collateral damage to the surrounding landscape was minimal.

This is an amazing business to work with that is able to conquer and adapt to unique challenges confidently. Highly recommended and have already referred to close friends. We have their business sign proudly displayed by our drive, and will be using them again for the next two projects coming up.

The quality of craftsmanship is obvious in every seam and joint. The crew didn’t cut corners, and the pitch is perfect everywhere. During storms I’ve watched how beautifully the system handles heavy water loads. Very pleased with the performance.

What stood out to me the most was their communication. They let us know when they were on the way, talked through each step of the process, and didn’t rush anything. They treated our home with care, and it shows in the final result. The gutters look like they’ve always belonged on the house, not like an addition. I’d recommend them to anyone in Chattanooga who wants a job done right the first time.

The crew turned up bright and early and worked tirelessly all day until the job was finished. They had a clear plan, worked efficiently and kept the site as clean as possible. The new gutters look integrated with the home and the improved drainage is immediately noticeable. I couldn’t ask for better service.

Chattanooga weather can bring heavy rain in some months and long dry spells in others, and our old gutters had started to rust and separate at the seams. Water was overflowing in a few spots and washing away the mulch near our foundation. The team came out, took careful measurements, and explained what type of seamless gutter system would work best with our roofline. The installation was done with real craftsmanship everything is straight, clean and secure. The first storm after the install really proved the difference. No overflow at all, just clean drainage exactly where it should go. It has taken a huge worry off my mind.

Our home sits near a lot of trees, so leaves have always been a problem. I used to dread cleaning out the gutters every fall. The gutter guards they installed have been fantastic. Even during peak leaf season, the water continues to flow smoothly, and I haven’t had to get on a ladder once. The crew was polite and worked neatly, cleaning up every bit of debris. I’m really grateful for the peace of mind.

They arrived promptly when they said, and I am very pleased with the results of the work. My shower feels new again.

These guys do awesome work.

I showed them what I needed, and they were able to get me an estimate within a few minutes. The price was good and they were even able to get me scheduled the same day. I was so happy with their work that I'm having them come back to do the kitchen next.
