Joseph from Mr. Rooter came by my house to do a job. After reviewing the work I needed done and giving an estimate, it turned out the job was going to be more than I could afford at this time. He was really polite and went above and beyond to point me in the right direction.

Having a huge issue with my plumbing system, Mr.Rooter came to the rescue.
Austin, keep up the good work, you showed professionalism, great customer service. Handling this issue from out of town, you guys stepped up to the plate and did a fantastic job.
If all of you out there looking for excellence Mr. Rooter is it.

Joseph T and his helper, Lamar, did an excellent job at my house. I had a main water line break, and I also replaced all of my galvanized pipes with Pex. The guys were friendly, knowledgeable, polite and professional. I appreciate the great service and I would recommend them to anyone!

I give them one star because they showed up. Our tenants called this plumber because a clogged line that’s over 100ft long, instead of him telling them he did not have the proper equipment, he went ahead and TRIED. Charged $380. My husband ended up having to take a 7hr trip to fix it, with a $19 part from Lowe’s and got fixed. The Plumber told us he could flush it for $900, but no guaranties that it would probably run in to 5 to 10 thousand dollars to get it fixed. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY WITH THESE PEOPLE.

I starting calling around 7:00 this morning and spoke to a lady who took all my info and said I will have someone call you then around 9:00 still no call so I called back and let the next lady know I had called and no one has gotten back to me. I let her know I was leaving to go out of town today for me and my husband 19 yr anniversary. At 3:00 I received a call from a tech named Alston and he advised they could not send the truck until Monday when I simple told him I needed the septic tank pumped he kept asking questions and saying he could come out . Why would I need him when I specifically told him I needed it pumped. I let him know how they ruined my out of town plans by waiting on them all day and I said I am going on social media and his response was that is fine. I never write reviews but this is one time I had to write. I am a manager so I know what CUSTOMER SERVICE is. Now I see why this company has low reviews. I am furious right now. I called another company and they just left pumping out the septic tank. My suggestion would be to hire a new staff or train them on what Customer Service looks like

This was by far the most responsive home service that I’ve ever had. Joseph Tomlinson was extremely considerate of my time and worked to fit my schedule. He was professional in the way he diagnosed a leak. We had a difficult situation and he was adaptable and able to solve the problem. Joseph was able to explain every step including the cost and provide a quality repair(s). I would highly recommend Mr. Rooter and Mr. Joseph Tomlinson for any plumbing service. Thank you!

Mr. Rooter was prompt to show up and give an estimate. The office was pleasant and professional to answer questions about the project. Tommy Butler was the technician assigned to our job. He showed up as promised, worked quickly and efficiently, and explained 'what and why' about the project. Tommy bent over backwards to help in every part of our sewer line replacement. He is a professional through and through. Thank you, Mr. Rooter and Tommy Butler! You saved the day.

Austin came out today and got us back in working quickly and professionally. I didn't even call Mr Rooter until 9:30pm Thursday night and they were here by 10:00am the next morning. Wonderful people to work with. Austin explained everything in detail as to the whole process. Would definitely recommend.

Great experience! We had a small water leak in the ground. We called about 10am on a Monday morning and they were out at our house by 11:30am. Plumber was very friendly and prices were fair. We will use them again for sure…but hopefully not to soon. 😊

The service could not have been more professional or easy to obtain. The General Manager was courteous and professional. He immediately identified our problem and was out the door in under a half hour. He even offered to do some cleanup work (very small) that I planned on saving for my kids to do. I can’t recommend their services highly enough.

If you're in need of a plumber at 9:00 PM on a Sunday night, I would highly recommend Joseph. He was very responsive and showed up within the hour. While the visit was very expensive, Joseph was very upfront about the cost and the services he was going to provide.

In addition to diagnosing and fixing the sewage pipe, he identified a much larger issue with the septic line installed by the builder that was going to cause more problems in the future.

I can't thank and recommend Joseph enough for when you have a plumbing emergency!

The only reason I'm giving Mr. Rooter 4 stars is because of the $900 charge for an hours worth of work. I'm sure these prices are set by the owner or corporate.

This rating is not a complaint against Joseph, the quality of his work, or the expertise he provides as he deserves 5+ stars!

Had a great experience with Mr Rooter and specifically with their technician Joseph Thomlinson. He was incredibly knowledgeable and took the time to answer all of many questions. Septic tank issues are never pleasant, but Mr rooster made what could have been a really bad situation a whole lot better! My sump pump was fixed the same day!

Had my septic tank “pumped"
in February of 2022 and was full
again in August of 2022. Reason
it was full is because Mr Rooter
didn't pump it. Paid Mr Rooter over $1000 for nothing and then had to pay someone else to pump it. Customer
service told me after 15 calls
that the owner is the only one
who can help me. After leaving
another 15 messages with the
"owner"... he/she will not call
me back. The crews also try to
get"side work" outside the
company which is very unprofessional. I've seen lemonade stands ran more professional than this joke of a company. So now I've had to resort to calling the corporate office and my
lawyer.

Justin and his crew were so friendly. They were honest and explained things to me about my septic tank. They did what they said and it was a good experience from start to finish. I really can’t say enough because I am a stay at home mom and sometimes men do not take women seriously in situations like this. I would call and ask for them if I ever need anything else!

Jesse came out to give me a quote on jetting my septic lines. Very professional and told me the way my system was set up that jetting would not solve my problem. I had already found a septic line replacement contractor and Jesse was very helpful that I knew what to watch for to be sure it was done correctly! I'll be sure to call Mr. Rooter the next time I need plumbing repairs.

Absolutely do not recommend. Charged $1000 to electrical tape my pipes together. Had double knee replacement so couldn't go under the house to check the work. Had to pay someone else to fix it correctly.

On Labor Day I called Mr.Rooter to fix a shower drain. Joseph was at the house within an hour! He was courteous and professional. He was even careful not to leave tools or hardware laying somewhere where my children might find them and get hurt. We appreciate his attention to detail and now we have a working shower!! Great work!

If I could leave no stars I would. We called Mr. Rooter to unclog a sewer line back in March 2020. The technician came out and said he would need to spray/ hose the clog a $1,000+ service. The first time the technician put the hose into the clean-out wrong and sprayed sewage all over the roof of the house. He then attempted to spray the clog a second time, again he put the hose in wrong and sewage sprayed up from every toilet, drain, sink in the house. He said he was sorry and would give us $100 off the service (great) and that he would have to come back the next day as he thought the clean-out was installed wrong. He came back the next day and started to dig where the clog was and hit the water main line (he did not mark the water main line prior to digging). This contaminated our water with the leaking sewage. He told us not to use our water for two weeks as sewage could be in the water pipes (we had a three month old baby!). He then had to repair the water line to our house, which has subsequently broken twice and we have had to have repaired. The technician seemed extremely over worked as well. Said he had been working 12+ hour days for over two weeks. Mr. Rooter makes you pay for all services upfront so we had no recourse and could not get a refund. I have called the office 4 times to speak with the owner and I am always told "he will call you within 24 hours". I have never received a call back and have had to file a complaint with the BBB. I would never use this service.

Would highly recommend Mr Rooter for 2 reasons.

Transparency and integrity!!!

When I told them about my situation they took the time to listen and were transparent. They gave me several options and let me decide what worked with my budget.

Secondly, To me the measure of any contractor or service industry company is doing what’s right when things don’t go smooth. When a complication happened they MADE IT RIGHT! To me that’s the biggest part of why I would recommend Mr Rooter. When you can choose ANY plumbing company the thing you can trust is the will make it right.

Had a late night call with a neglected septic tank, Joseph Tomlinson came out that night and did everything he could to make sure we had a way to flush toilets and wash that night. he came out early before his next scheduled job to take care of us and pumped it the next day. He was honest, hard working and very upfront about prices and wanted to ensure you were knowledgeable about the problem and what you were paying for. I would highly recommend him for your plumbing needs. Thanks again Joesph!
