I contacted this company this morning to inquire about a part. I was answered by a very rude and disrespectful person that continued to put me on hold, rush through my call , was talking as if my inquiry was unimportant and she finally hung up on me….don’t waste your time with this unprofessional company

Joseph with Mr. Rooter was quick to respond to a faucet repair same day! He helped with the faucet and then checked in to make sure all was okay. Quality and service was great.

Seth from Mr. Rooter came out to our house Saturday. He was prompt and very professional. Did an excellent job and fixed several problems and thankfully stopped the leaking into our basement! I have used Mr. Rooter before and they have been great every time. Thanks Seth!

This is one of the worst plumber services that I have run into. Our main water line has broke several times and knew how things typically go. The repair guy showed up in a small truck with no supplies. He was supposedly accessing the situation, fine. Instead of leaving and getting the correct pipe he started cutting up the lines. He left the open pipes exposed to dirt and debris. I asked if he could cap them or put something in the ends to prevent dirt from going down our line. Even though it was now raining and mud was getting back into the hole, he said it wasn't necessary and he could just disconnect and flush at the house. Why risk clogging up the pressure regulator at the house? Dumb! He left to the shop and returned. He still had the wrong parts and wanted to down size the line or rig up a series of 45 angles (VERY bad idea on a high pressure main line). He left again and called from the road that he wasn't coming back till the next day. I recontacted him to make sure we would get the correct sizing in the morning. He go mad that I even called him or questioned his repair. He said he wouldn't come back at all and we would have to find another company. The manager later called to try to make a recovery. They offered it for free. I was so upset with their lack of expertise and customer service I called a different company.
By the way Roto Rooter, (NOT Mr. Rooter), came in the night, had the correct material, and go it done right. They were still cheaper even with an off hour call.,

Austin communicated very well throughout the entire process. He came out to check out a toilet and was courteous and knowledgeable about the issue. He even offered to bring a package inside for us as we were not home! Definitely recommend!

I had one plumbing company that came out, and walked away from the job, because they had to go in the tank to change a pump out. At this point i had to get someone ASAP. I called Mr. Rooter had Joseph come out game a quote, and came the next day. Great service and and he wanted to make sure I was happy. Great guy I highly recommend Joe.

Justin and his assistant were very courteous and customer centered. They assessed the issue thoroughly and provided me with all the necessary information I needed to make an informed decision. Thank you Justin. Because of you I will be using Mr Rooter for any future plumbing needs.

WASTE OF TIME AND MONEY
My call was regarding a gurgling sound in kitchen-laundry room sink when the dishwasher/washing machine drain. Sounded like a clog inside the pipes. Called Mr. Rooter to set up appt to check it out as they were the only ones that Would come out to the country. They immediately went down the path that it's septic tank related. Not once did they go into the house to look or test out the sound to hear it for themselves. Instead, they gave a long verbal description of why it's septic tank related. Keep in mind, I know nothing about plumbing and depend greatly on honest plumbers to help me understand what I'm paying for. $4000 later and a very costly lesson learned:
1. Mr. Rooter of Chattanooga preys on uneducated and inexperienced customers.
2. Does not perform a full diagnosis check before determining what the root cause actually is.
3. Charges an exuberant amount of money for things that may not fix the issue.
After septic was pumped, a poorly installed second riser missing screws, incoming and outgoing pipes flushed and two service charges, the problem was still not resolved.
A week later I finally found a plumbing company that could come out to the country to help. Two hours and $325 later, problem solved. Turns out the in house pipes just needed some flushing. Had nothing at all to do with the septic tank. Hopefully I made my point clear and others listen. Please don't waste your time or money on Mr. Rooter.

We are very satisfied and happy with the work that Matt C. did in installing our water heater. He was very timely, professional, nice, patiently accommodating to us. I would highly recommend him and this Company.

We had a back up in our septic tank and needed it pumped. We called and they came out that same day. We paid $800 to have the tank pumped and was told the lines from our house were bad and that we would be calling them back in about two weeks because it would back up again. After 6 months of everything running fine we had a back up again. We called a different company to come out and they stated the septic tank was not pumped out properly and there was waste that was 5 years old still in it! We asked if the pipes from the house might be bad and they said our pipes are fine. So Mr. Rooter not only overcharged us but also only did half the job so that we would have to call them back out and they could claim our pipes are bad and would need a whole new system which would cost thousands!! I will never use this company ever again!!

I hired Mr. Rooter to do a septic and plumbing inspection of a home we are purchasing. Tommy was very professional, informative, and went above and beyond to troubleshoot issues and make sure we knew all of our options for repairs. He was also very friendly! I definitely recommend Mr. Rooter, and make sure to ask for Tommy!

When a past septic pumping had broken a pipe, the repair was crazy! Didn’t find out until now, but our repairman worked hard and showed us what had happened. Showed us what was going to have to happen. Now all of it works just great and we appreciative. I would use them again in a heartbeat!

Unable to resolve my residential over flowing issue after 2 attempt so. Technician failed to show up and did not bother to return phone call to at least keep the customer informed when unable to keep appointments. I was out total of $700+ getting a drain pipe snaked and a cheap kitchen disposal replaced ($400+ for parts cost less $100 and 30 min labor) my other option was to have the brokered disposal diagnosed first for an additional $100+ Then pay the additional 400 to get it placed which make no sense. During the follow up visit I was asked to pay for an additional diagnose fee for the same washer they failed to fix the first time. By then I have lost all trust for the techs who can’t even keep his own appointment days and blame the office lady and boss for sending him elsewhere and cause him to forget. Save yourself from all the hassle I went through and look elsewhere is the best advice I can give.

I had to get our septic tank pumped today, and Joseph was fantastic. He answered my many questions, discussed options for field line placement, and kept me informed every step of the way. I’ve been thoroughly impressed with the service delivered and the courtesy with which all of the business’ employees have shown me.
