I hope your service makes up for your poor driving. I was on the highway north of Powell behind one of your trucks which was going 60 in the fast lane fine enough, but then it was about to miss its exit so it break harshly went down to 45 and cut off traffic when I honked they honked back. The license plate had 009 on it maybe drive safer next time or get your name off your company vans

So... my mom and sister depend on me for these types of services. I had used Powell Brothers here at my own home a couple of times with great success. When my Sisters Heat and Air went out back in November 2023, I turned to Kenny and the team to take care of it. At no fault of Powell Brothers, we had an issue this past weekend on Sis' unit and once again Kenny and team stepped up! They went far and beyond my expectations and that of my sisters! We had Powell Brothers replace our heat pump this summer and were very happy with their service. Their price was great, and they went the extra mile in diagnosing the issue, and installing a new system in a timely manner. They even worked with us to move the pump to a new location to meet our future house plans.
They gained our trust, and we would definitely work with them again.

I had A/C problems and was referred To Powell Brothers out of Clinton. Ryan, the service technician, promptly came this morning and diagnosed the issues and had it all back going perfectly. He was very professional and explained everything clearly. Outstanding job and I'll always call Powell Brothers in the future!

Ryan was fantastic. I had another company out before him who misdiagnosed this issue using assumptions and worst case scenarios. Ryan took his time to properly troubleshoot my system and within 10 minutes - my A/C fired right up again.

So glad I trusted my gut on the first company. So glad I call Powell Brothers. So glad they sent Ryan. If I do need a new system at some point - I would definitely trust their opinion and use them without hesitation.

Last Tuesday night our AC decided to stop working. Just in time for the hottest day of the year. We called frantically trying to see if ANYONE could come out and service our system. Powell Brothers very graciously was able to squeeze us in on Thursday that week. Which was amazing considering every other HVAC company didn’t have availability and acted like we were crazy for even asking. Our tech called ten minutes before his arrival time to let us know he was on his way. He was on site for MAYBE 20 minutes. He had us back up and running in no time. We’ll likely get set up with their preventative maintenance to hopefully avoid future outages!

Honest and reliable! We got a second opinion from PB after another company wanted to charge us $4500 for something that didn't even need to be fixed.

They have actually been to my house twice in the last couple of weeks for my upstairs & downstairs units that quit. Quincy was our tech both times and he was on time, repaired it quickly both times & he was very professional. I will always call Melton Heating and Air and will always refer them.

I have used Melton's for about 19 years now. In 2021, they installed the third unit that I have purchased from them, in two different homes. I believe them to be honest and they are fairly professional. When I originally used them in 2004, they came recommended to me by several of my associates. However, I've seen a major change in the past couple of years. It may be due to the labor shortage. I'm not certain what has caused it. In my first install in 2004, they sent out a salesperson and they measured my home, counted and measured my windows, checked the insulation in my attic, and entered all this data into a software package to determine the proper unit sizing. When that Trane unit failed in 2015, they sent out a salesperson again. This time, I did not need a remeasure. They sized it correctly the previous time. This third time, I was in another home with the original units. When they serviced my units 6 months earlier, I was told the upstairs unit was about to need replacing. The heat exchanger was rusty and would fail soon. That was almost 7 years ago and it is still going strong. They told me my downstairs unit was good. Six months later, they told me the upstairs unit was fine but my downstairs unit was about to fail. Also, they didn't send out a salesperson and they measured/calculated nothing. The repair technician doing the service just called the office and offered me a price for a replacement unit (and they were not selling Trane units at that point). The estimate was not in writing like the previous times and there was a small dispute over replacing the outside switchbox. But, they agreed to replace it in accordance with our verbal agreement. So far, the unit has done well, but now I cannot get them to come out and do the preventative service in the spring or fall. I called in the fall of 2022 and the spring of 2023 and they tell me that they are putting me on the list, but I never heard from them again. I still think they do good work, but not as professional as they used to be. I'm not sure I would use them when my upstairs unit finally fails.

Loyal customer for years; wouldn't call anyone else. Air conditioner blew a condenser cap on one of the hottest days of the year. Called first thing in the AM, and fixed by 5 PM same day. Was pleasantly surprised they gave me a same-day appointment on what I'm sure was a very busy business day. Technician Quincy was polite, pleasant and patiently explained his work. Their prices are competitive and fair. Very satisfied customer!

I was new to the Area and Needed Some Units Replaced. Salesperson was honest, friendly, and knowledgeable. Quote was competitive with 2 other providers I researched. I called them and they came out next day with Replacment Units Fantastic when the unit is not working. .. Techs were professional and courteous... had them replace second unit... Same Quick / Fast Service. Had 1 issue they were immediately out here and addressed the issue... Even met the Owner, who came out to inspect what was going on.
