We had a great experience working with Scruffy City!

In Sept of 2025 after a strong thunderstorm our weather head and meter were ripped off the side of our house and lost power as a result. We contacted Scruffy City who had a team out to set up a generator that evening, and next day completed all repairs that included a fully meter replacement, main panel for the house, and weather head for connection to KUB electric.

They had everything completed and brought up to code within 24 hours of the storm, and able to connect back with KUB to restore power. They finished all repairs quickly and professionally, and were also patient in working with us on invoicing as we worked with our insurance company. Highly recommended

We had a great experience working with Scruffy City Construction on finishing part of our basement for a home gym. Their team framed out a wall, installed drywall, ran electrical, and added a door, and everything turned out exactly how we were hoping.

Mike was very personable, easy to work with, and always quick to respond to any questions we had throughout the project. Communication was consistent and the work was completed efficiently without sacrificing quality.

We’re really happy with the results and are looking forward to working with them again as we continue finishing the rest of our basement later this year.

This deck could withstand an EF4 tornado! The level of detail and effort these guys did absolutely blew my mind and they did everything from teardown, fixing some stuff with the siding, to building this gorgeous 16'x32' deck with a full sub structure to hold the 389 gallon 7 person hot tub in a whopping 3 days. Just walking across it you can feel how remarkably sturdy it is and how consistent everything is. Drew recommended a Kiln Dried After Treatment top rail, learned a new thing, that is smooth as butter. I would recommend them to anyone and are no my go to for home improvements!

I recently hired Scruffy City to replace a small 5’ x 5’ deck in my backyard, and the results exceeded my expectations. They completely removed the old structure and built a much larger, beautifully designed deck that extends right up to the edge of our pool. The transformation has made a significant difference in both the functionality and appearance of our outdoor space.

In addition to the deck construction, they also handled all of the electrical work for the deck and pool, as well as various electrical projects throughout the house. The electrical work was completed to a high standard, seamlessly integrated, and clearly done with a strong emphasis on safety and detail.

I had a wonderful experience with Scruffy City. Damon was extremely attentive, very good at explaining things I didn’t understand and made sure everyone was working efficiently. When there were hiccups (there were only a few) he was proactive in keeping the project moving forward. For my electrical, Mike was very knowledgeable, he made many good suggestions and made sure my electricity was up to code and safe. Between all their services I ended up with a beautifully remodeled home and I am confident to recommend Scruffy City to any of my friends who need a contractor.

Few companies have a tight-knit team that compares to Scruffy City Construction. Some of the brightest and sharpest people I have met in the field compose their team. Because of the unity and shared vision among their people, the quality and pure good workmanship of their product is unmatched in the industry.

We lost our HVAC and within an hour or two of us calling, Max showed up and fixed the AC. Professional and timely, I look forward to working with them in the future.

Love the 24 hour access for my drivers. Not a lot of options for my drivers to park our tractor trailers especially gated. I would definitely advise anyone needing secured parking to call Drew or Matt. Thanks guys for the service you provide.

Needed a place to park my trailer when I'm not using it. It's a really small trailer, about the size of a car, so I worked out a deal with the owner to pay for a vehicle parking space. Can't beat $50 a month for a secure parking spot! I appreciate how you can pay online, and enroll in auto-pay because I am the WORST at remembering to pay bills. Definitely would recommend this place!
