Precise Circuit is the best! I was totally out of power! Totally!!! I called on a Monday morning and spoke with an extremely nice, professional, concerned lady. I was told they would get to me between 2-4 that day! The electrician, (A LICENSED ELECTRICIAN), Travis, was here at 855 am! He was extremely professional, knowledgeable, and concerned that a 70 year old was without power! He came back the same evening with another extremely pleasant young man and they got the job done. There were no excuses made. Everything was straight forward and easy to understand. His only concern was getting my power back on ASAP!!
I will definitely recommend this company!

I’ve had several jobs completed through the company, and this last one in particular, I needed an additional outlet installed. Travis took the time to show me and explain what the load was on each circuit, and how to read at my appliances labels and calculate to make certain that I’m not overloading anything. He also shared information on items, such as a small heater, creates a heavier load than typical small appliances. It has been a process that started back in July and just now being finalized over 3 months later for something that every other electrician we spoke to including the inspector, said it should not take long to do. On top of that two quotes went through Qmerit and they were going to allow Precise to charge us an outrageous amount if we had not caught it. This whole experience has been exhausting and more than someone should have to endure to get this installed. We have taken off work, rearranged our schedules for weeks and on top that dealing with cancer and treatments. Below is a recap of events.

From the start, I was clear about what I wanted covered, and pictures were taken of everything I requested, which was essentially the entire house. Yet, when the time came for the install, I find out my AC wasn’t included. This was the first mention of a “light load,” and frankly, it doesn’t make sense. The AC is one of the main things that needs backup during a power outage. Also, no one mentioned the initial quote was wrong until after we were presented with an inflated quote of over $7K. At no point was I made aware of a fee for a change of scope, especially when the items to be backed up were clearly identified from the beginning, and photos were taken. What’s even more baffling is that it would’ve required less work to do a whole-home backup, versus this selective "light load" option that involved more alterations to the main electrical panel. That was never what we requested or agreed to when this process started. It simply doesn’t add up. The amounts quoted were even outside of what Tesla presented as a range and the current balance is still outside of that range.

The delays in approving the quote are a separate issue, and the quote itself was wrong multiple times. The overcharge on the initial quote wasn’t caught until we brought it to Qmerit’s attention, and had we not pointed it out, Qmerit would have allowed Precise to charge us for equipment that Tesla already covered. I’m unsure of Qmerit’s review process, but there have been multiple mistakes that should have been caught from a verification standpoint.

As for the incorrect breaker, we were initially told it was a logistics issue, and once the breaker arrived, there was no bracket available to secure it. They ended up replacing the breaker again to prevent sparking and potential fire hazards in the box due to its movement. Let’s not forget that the first breaker they installed was sparking.

Then I was unable to get the software because the PowerShare didn’t have a proper Wi-Fi connection due to the improper install of the wire, which delayed the software update.

It’s beyond frustrating and concerning that the service provider is misrepresenting information, and their version seems to override the numerous issues we’ve been pointing out week after week. Even though I’ve provided Qmerit with copies of communication detailing how poorly Precise has treated us and the complete lack of customer service, nothing has changed. The only time Precise acted was when I said I’d be contacting Qmerit—otherwise, they wouldn’t have even shown up on the same day last Wednesday. I filing this as a formal complaint with Tesla and will make sure others are aware of the substandard service we’ve received. Furthermore, nothing has been mentioned about the multiple times they came unequipped to do the work. Precise is quick to claim they’ve accommodated my schedule, which is far from the truth. If they really cared about my schedule, they would have shown up when they said they would, come prepared, and communicated better to minimize the number of visits.

On top of that, they tried to overcharge us, and Qmerit allowed it to happen. The lack of due diligence and poor customer service.

What an enjoyable experience. They totally worked hard to check on my “electrical safety”. In times when we are not sure someone can get there to help you with home issues, they way over performed. I can sleep tonight due to their expertise and kindness!🫶

Had to make sure I posted a new review. There was a mix up with scheduling notifications due to a technology upgrade with the company so my electrician wasn’t able to show up to my original appointment. However, the owner, Travis, called me right away upon realizing it and made certain to have Chris out to me first thing the next morning. Mistakes happen and I’m very appreciative of this company for rectifying the situation and delivering on their services. Chris was extremely knowledgeable and professional during the appointment and all of my light fixtures and ceiling fans work like a charm. Thank you guys, it really was a pleasure! Will definitely be using them again for future electrical needs.

I usually have a issuse with who home warranty companies send. However I was pleasesantly surprised by the two repairman that came to fix my electrical problem in my kitchen. Good job on time fixed quickly.

Precise Circuit Solutions relocated our electrical sockets so that we could mount our TVs. They arrived on time and were professional. They did an excellent job.

Chris, our installer, arrived on time, installed the ceiling fans, and cleaned up thoroughly. He was careful and meticulous. His communication was excellent throughout the process — overall, a very good experience.

Travis lacks basic communication skills. During my rehab, he installed only one outlet for a stackable washer/dryer when I needed two—something he never clarified upfront. Fine, honest mistake. I asked him to add a second outlet. He did for an $850 charge, but not before cutting into the drywall incorrectly and leaving behind a dusty mess for me to clean up.

Then Costco arrives for delivery and finds Travis installed a RANGE outlet instead of a DRYER outlet, forcing another trip. Precise Circuit returns to fix it. Costco comes back, installs the unit—only to discover the breaker for the washer isn’t working.

I ask Travis to check it. He says they’ll come Monday. Then he randomly decides to send his team Saturday instead. They barely touch the unit, and suddenly the outlet “works.” Next thing I know, he’s billing me $150 for a “weekend service call” I never requested. No prior mention of a fee, and I was simply trying to verify who was at fault—Costco or the electrician.

Sloppy work, poor communication, surprise charges—avoid him.

The fellow that performed the install was very professional. Called me before arriving to confirm his arrival time, took care of my items so they would not be bothered during the install and stayed longer getting Wi-Fi connectivity set up.

Chris Joy was an excellent electrician/installer for or light fixture. Highly knowledgeable & professional.
