Mr Jones sold me a 3.5 ton air conditioning unit (3.5 on the invoice), but installed only a 3 ton unit. I often wondered why the back rooms did not cool down as they did with the original unit; it was only during installation of a new furnace by a reputable contractor a few years later I was informed my AC was not sized correctly and that it was only a 3 ton. Being one retired serviceman to another, I thought he could be trusted. Sticking with the major companies from now on as you get what you pay for. Will try resolving legally.

Lost power to part of house. The other part was starving for power. Everyone told me it was the panel. They came out diagnosed the problem and it was Entergy’s issue. He could have run me over the coal and charged me to do a bunch of stuff that didn’t need to be done. Thankful Honest individuals still exist!! He also waited for Entergy’s service man to get here and explain everything. It’s hard to find that these days.

My 86 year old, widowed father was having a mysterious issue with his house electrical system. Every morning he would wake up to two or three dead circuits. Turning on a 220V space heater would reenergize those circuits. He called Herndon and they came out the next day. They checked every circuit and couldn't find a problem. The electrician called a friend at the electric company (North Central Electric Coop) and requested they come take a look at the service feed on the utility pole. 15 minutes later, a lineman showed up with a bucket truck, and replaced a scorched jumper cable on the transformer. Problem solved. After all this, Herndon only charged my Dad a basic service fee of $85. Thank you Herndon for staying the course and resolving this problem for my father!

Had an electrical problem with several outlets and ac blower going out. They came out and quickly diagnosed the problem in a professional manner. A short while later everything was fixed and working like it should. Very polite and professional, I highly recommend!

I can’t say enough about these guys. I called them after being stood up by another electrical company and they came out the same day. They fixed the issues that I had and even was kind enough to educate me on some simple projects. I thank God for these guys. They were very kind and knowledgeable.
