The answer is yes, go with Mountain Air and Heat, I highly recommend them!

My thermostat wasn’t reading the correct temperature in the house, making it really hot so I called them to come check it out. James got here within hours of the call, diagnosed, and fixed the problem promptly.

They have good prices, quality service, and James was extremely knowledgeable. Happy we found a good company in the area!

You may want to reconsider using Mountain Air and Heating. I called them to get a quote for a new HVAC system. They came to the house and provided a ridiculously high quote even on today’s standards. Johnny said he’d send someone out to see if only the furnace could be replaced instead of the entire system to help lower the cost.
He sent a guy out who was unable to replace just the furnace. The following day, Mountain Air and Heating sent me a bill for $525.25. Since I did not request any service, I immediately called them to remove this charge. They “apologized” and changed the bill to $99 for a service call. Again, I did not request any service for an HVAC system that I was planning to replace.
He also gave me a list of other HVAC dealers and said he’d match their price and give me a $600 allowance on my air handler since it was only 5 years old. He lied about other competitors not having licenses and doing shotty work, so he said he wouldn’t match their quotes. Since I had already received a much lower quote from Advantage Air, which was on Johnny’s “list”, I gave it to him. Johnny, then evidently called his buddy, Jeff, at Advantage Air. Advantage Air then sends me this note in an email:
“After speaking with Johnny at mountain heat and air who is a close friend of mine I will withdraw my quote as I have no interest in a bidding war with another reputable company. My advice would be to let Johnny do this job as it will be done correctly.”
Johnny then does not answer my calls. A little later he texts me with a nasty and incoherent message withdrawing his quote. Yet, Mountain Air and Heating still has the audacity to keep invoicing me for nothing, but a lot of grief. By the way, price fixing is illegal. Both Mountain Air and Heating and Advantage Air should be avoided.

If you are skeptical of calling a heating and air company, please look no further. Mountain heating & Air was the best decision we could have made. James was honest/genuine and helped solve our problem within minutes. He truly wants to help and we couldn’t be more grateful. We will recommend him to everyone we know.

We have used Johnny for years to work on all of our heat and air needs. Just recently we had a unit go down at a rental house, Johnny and his technicians arrived quickly and had it back up and running just a little while later. I would highly recommend his company!
