I had been using LB Chase since we moved here several years ago to service my unit. I had not used them previously for the purchase and instal. When my condenser went out on the unit that was already 20 years old I got several different quotes. More than a handful of companies provided estimates. LB Chase was competitive and trustworthy as I had used them previously. When it was time to arrange to move forward, the scheduling and installation went as expected.

LB Chase have been my contractor of choice for all the HVAC needs for The Sidecar Inn for the past 8 years. They have installed three mini splits, a package unit, and a split unit. On the rare occasion I have needed emergency service they have always stepped up and taken care of the problem. Highly recommended.

I've lived in this house for 22 years, so I've had to use a lot of HVAC repair companies. LB Chase is by far the best and I will never call anyone else.

In January 2025 I needed a new unit so I called them. The day the installation was scheduled it started snowing. I expected them to call and cancel, but they didn't. They showed up on time with their full installation crew. Drove straight up my steep snowy driveway and got to work.

They were all very professional, knowledgeable and very precise and efficient. They got the whole thing done in about a half a day, even though they had to cut out a new intake vent in my hallway.

Every experience I've had with LB Chase has been excellent. They are absolutely the best and I highly recommend them.

LB Chase was amazing from start to finish. Our representative, Devin was so helpful! I had a special request for a custom part and he bent over backwards to find it for me. He was a great communicator who always returned emails and calls promptly. The office personnel were kind and helpful as well. Lastly, the installation crew did a wonderful job. They were super knowledgeable, nice, and kept my new tiny house from getting dirty during the install. I highly recommend LB Chase!

In Dec 2024 I called LB chase to have them come out and inspect my heater an ac unit.
We had a strong propane smell in the house.
A representative showed up within an hr.
After his inspection. He found that the Hot Water had a propane leak, and the Heater had one also. His recommendation was to turn off each unit till it be repaired. The hot water heater was replaced quickly by Aqua clear.
The Ac / Heater had to be replaced also. The unit had Caught Fire at one time and was not safe to continue to use. It was from 1970s.
The install of the new heater Ac was fast and works great.
LB case Recommended that a mini split being installed in the garage. That took three months to save some money and have it done. That install went flawlessly was done professionally and looks great. I tried my best to watch them stay out of their way. But at the end I was helping the gentleman were professional did a clean job and were efficient in what they did I would recommend them for your heating AC anytime.

The Daikin split unit installation was smooth and timely. James did a great job with his team. My home was kept clean and tidy with no issues. The work was completed efficiently within the timeframe provided.

My AC broke while we were sleeping. Called them and within 1 hour Jeremy was at our door step. Identified the problem and fixed it within 30 minutes. Fast, friendly, affordable... what else can you ask for?

Sorry, but my review is not a good one, they installed a New York system in my home 6 or 7 years ago and I always felt like it just was not doing the job, last Sunday morning found out why,showed my wife what I found and she was furious. Spending most of my Sunday fixing the problem, do to a horrible institution it is doing better. Then spent time looking at what it should have cost for the unit and installed. $4850.00 I was charged $7300.00. Just do your homework first. This is my fault for not doing mine

First statement out of techs mouth was your unit was built 1994....your blower motor quit..parts not available...your only choice is to have a new air handler installed or a new furnace.....called another company they showed up with parts on the truck and replaced the blower motor in 30 minutes. I will never waste my time calling Ridge Valley again....very very dishonest....in reply to managers response below...I had two conversations with tech regarding parts...he said manufacturer parts were back ordered for 1 month..
I clarified with him that my only options were a new air handler or furnace...he did not stutter he said yes....so either tech is dishonest or incompetent or both...

This family run business is the best. The response time was quick, the price was very fair, and the installation was top notch. This is who you need to call for your HVAC needs. Very satisfied.

Darren from Ridge Valley oversaw the installation of the HVAC system. I got the Top online Carrier system and an additional mini split and it was $3500 less expensive than the equivalent Trane system. Carrier included a free upgrade to the high end filtration ($500 value) and the entire $500 was passed n to me. Darren communicated professionally set me up with the app and registration and educated me on the system and WiFi thermostat. I could not be happier.

Responded and came out check my air conditioner on time. Tim was very friendly and did a great job finding and fixing the problem and did it in a timely manner. The price is great for the service you get. Definitely would recommend!

I had the need for 2 new systems in our home to replace outdated equipment from 2004. Matt came out and made the best "bang for the buck" recommendations for a quality, highly efficient long-term option and quoted a fair price. He also made some recommendations for qualifying for rebates and helped out with all necessary steps to qualify. We also had some air-flow inconsistencies (some rooms hotter or cooler than others) which dates back to the original install in 2004, ductwork issues. Matt also said "we can fix that" and explained some very good options that weren't a big deal or costly to execute. We scheduled an install date and they were right on time. The installation crew was just as professional and polite as the manager, which is somewhat unusual these days. They were right on time with the estimated installation process, and came back to make all final adjustments for a perfectly operating system. Can't wait to see the utility savings over the next year, now that we have Energy-Star equipment in place. THANK YOU RIDGE VALLEY!

I liked that you have it advertised opened 24 hours because we have had to wait in the past with other companies a day or two before someone could even come out, so that caught my attention immediately. The HVAC quit working this evening. The person who answered (which I apologize for not understanding his name to be able to write it down for this review) came and fixed the issue already.
