lucas first came out to our home in austin for our annual ac maintenance. we’d noticed our electric bill was higher than usual, and our air conditioning was running all the time but still not keeping the house cool, even at night. we thought there might be a problem with the ac system. we’ve had a few different companies check it over the years, but lucas was the first technician who really seemed to know what he was doing. he explained what could help our ac run better and gave us clear estimates. the scheduling process took a little bit of time, but i was probably just eager to get the house comfortable again, especially since it gets so hot in texas. they got us on the schedule, and kai and his helper came out to handle the ductwork in the attic. they explained every step and finished the job quickly. then clarence and his assistant replaced the condenser, and they did a solid job too. after the new ac was installed, we noticed some rooms were colder than others. clarence and his helper came back to balance the airflow and made sure the whole house cooled evenly. he explained everything clearly and did this work at no extra charge under our warranty. overall, the team did a fantastic job, and i’ll keep using their ac repair services in the future.

I had my vents "cleaned" yesterday. The technician arrived, hooked up a shop vac, tried to sell me additional services, and was done in 45 minutes or so. I have 2 A/C units, and I specifically asked if they cleaned each vent. The answer is clearly no because they looked inside of one air return, but did not look at or even clean anything. The pics he showed me were cell phone pics from the outside of my unit. This seems like a total scam to me. If you are cleaning air ducts, shouldn't you need to at the bare minimum seal off the air returns to get some pressure? What a waste of $600.

I am very UNHAPPY with the svcs that I rec'd. They sent out a guy who has to go have a "conversation with leadership" when all I wanted was a duct cleaning. So he comes back to tell me that I "need to add a single dedicated duct from the unit to my son's room." This was supposedly a way to make the room cooler!! Well it WAS cooler but due to my lowering the thermostat temp down to 72°. So when I put it back to normal @76°, the room registers at 80° but the rest of the house is cool as a cucumber!! Makes me question "did they even do that $1000 job like the said they did?!!"
So I call them back out and they didn't show... they "said migrating to new system and my appt didn't come over with the rest of appts." Well likely storey...sounds like when ppl say they got a new phone and all their #s didn't transfer over!! So FADC can tell it to the next fool, because I'm NOT yall's fool!
So when "Chris" FINALLY shows up, he says I need dampers to close off the other vents!! So, MORE MONEY?!! Why the hail would I need that if you put in a single vent from the unit to my son's room?!!
I see that some ppl have had good experiences with this company, please don't be the UNLUCKY one like me and get the bad svc!! Costing me more money than if I'd just chosen a mainstream, REPUTABLE air duct svc company. Buyer beware, call these ppl at the expense of causing you & your family further uncomfortableness! Unfortunately, I don't have any photos...just take my word for it because I don't believe they put in the extra duct. Doesn't feel like it and I bet if I get someone else out here, I'll find out that they DID NOT do the work that I was charged for.

On the phone they gave me an estimate of $99 for a dryer vent duct cleaning. Technician visited and quoted me for $900. Then said they would give me a discount and asked for $600. The technician said the issue was the "cap" and showed me a video of a clogged cap on the roof. I ended up going to home depot to buy the brush and did it myself for $30. The vent "cap" on my roof looked nothing like the video he showed me. They were taking me for a ride all along. Don't waste your time with these clowns.
