Regan is fantastic. Honest as the day is long in the summer. He has repaired A/C units at both main house and a rental, and replaced a unit when the compressor failed for thousands less than the American Home Shield vendor quote. After the Snowcopolypse, even helped me to repair a tankless hot water heater, when plumbers were not available. Another time when a vendor tried to cheat me, Regan helped me to not get overcharged for frivolous work. He goes above and beyond and has earned my business for life. He is my favorite repair guy - trust him with my A/C, my house, even makes my kids smile.

Cool champs are my go to service technicians. They are prompt, excellent communicators, and fair in their pricing. They have my loyalty as a customer.

Regan is one of the best HVAC guys you'll ever meet. He was able to do my HVAC replacement job at a much better price than anyone in town (and with a bigger system). He followed up numerous times to make sure everything was still working great. He is super knowledgeable about all things HVAC (and has an Engineering degree from UT to back it up!). He even found an error in the original installation of the gas line to the furnace. If you live in Austin, Regan should be your A/C guy.

We needed an Mini Split Install and reached out to Cool Champs for help. Regan was professional, friendly, and very knowledgeable. His team was on time, quick, and helpful. 10/10 would recommend.

Called these guys up after hours with my thermostat reading 50 degrees in my house with no heat. Another HVAC repairman quoted me $175 just to come out to my site on the weekend. Regan answered the phone professionally, knew the exact right questions to ask (it was like he was in my house looking at my system with me), and offered me some things to try before he sent somebody out. Cool Champs' solid customer service, knowledge of HVAC, and pricing is hard to find in one package these days. Highly recommend.

Cannot recommend these guys enough. Had a bigg name company come out and spend 2 hours telling me my A/C had to be completely replaced or it wouldn't work. Cool Champs was super helpful to us when we were dealing with AC issues. He was very professional, took time to explain to us what we needed, and was responsive to every single one of our calls/texts. He will definitely be our go-to person for any AC needs.

Regan saved our sanity the weekend of our baby shower. We discovered flooding under our carpet and flooring, and by the time a plumber came by to tell us it was actually an HVAC issue, it was the evening before the shower and we had to shut off the AC to stop the leaking. Regan came by just a few hours before the shower, figured out the problem right away, and patiently walked us through it, even taking the time to teach us a few basic things about our HVAC and how to be proactive about mold management. The cost was beyond reasonable (like we couldn't believe how reasonable given it was an emergency weekend call) and we haven't had any issues since. Cool Champs are our HVAC guys forever.

I recently worked with Regan when he and his team installed an HVAC system in my new home addition, and I cannot recommend him enough. During each step of the process, he provided exceptional service, going above and beyond in every aspect of the job. My AC recently went out and I reached out to 5+ vendors for diagnosis and proposals. After being jerked around in just about every direction and receiving quotes for new systems as high as $25k, Regan came out and was able to repair our current system same day at a much more attractive price. He’s a genuine local business owner with quality service and affordable prices. I’d recommend Cool Champs to anyone who is looking for HVAC repair or replacement. If you want to pay an arm and a leg for something you might not need, go talk to one of the big HVAC companies.

I used Cool Champs after a referral from my brother-in-law and was very grateful that he referred me to them.Our AC had been out for about 2 weeks as we waited for insurance when I reached out to Cool Champs. Other providers, including the service provider recommended by the warranty company, quoted us a higher replacement cost compared to Cool Champs and would not be able to replace our AC within a reasonable amount of time. Upon reaching out to Cool Champs, they were able to fit us in to their schedule the same week (I’m talking 2 days after we reached out to them) and replaced our whole AC and heating system in a day! Throughout the whole process, Cool Champs communicated consistently and delivered exactly what they promissed! Our 10 month old twin girls were happy to be back home to AC blowing cooler than ever before all thanks to Cool Champs. I would recommend them for an honest and timely company for all your HVAC needs.

I first met Regan from Cool Champs while he was working next door installing a new HVAC system at my neighbor’s full house remodel. I didn’t know I would need his services a week and a half later when the fan controller board in my outside AC compressor literally burned up. I contacted him and he came by that morning. He was able to MacGyver around the burned-up board to keep my AC up and running while the replacement part was on order. Regan is a hardworking expert with HVAC systems. We highly recommend him and his team.

Two weeks later update

It won't let me post another review - but my AC broke overnight. I texted at 6:30AM and the team at Cool Champs made time to get my capacitor replaced. I am SUPER appreciative.

Regan and his team, Colin and Nelson make a great team for ac issues we were having. The team diagnosed the ac issues quickly and fixed the issues right away. The team all seemed very honest and I was most impressed with the passion they all have for a creating a great customer experience. I highly recommend Cool Champs!

We did a remodel down to the studs. The job that Cool Champs did for our house was outstanding. We had a complicated setup with a vaulted ceiling. They worked countless hours to get it done and listened to ALL our needs. My uncle is a retired HVAC guy and had many things he wanted me to get done for this job. The Cool Champs we super accommodating with his requests as well on our behalf. Everyone I worked with a Cool Champs were professional, patient, and knowledgeable. Pricing was excellent as well. I highly recommend them.

Regan at Cool Champs is passionate and knowledgeable about the HVAC world.

After receiving a ridiculously high quote from a competitor, I knew the answer wasn’t as cut and dry as replacing our entire system (as suggested).

Although it wasn’t a clear cut issue, Regan took the time to get to the bottom of it. By took the time I mean two hours. TWO HOURS. Y’all the competitor charged me $90, told me my only option was a brand new $20k system and was gone in 20 min. Regan looked at my system like it was his own and treated it as such. A rinse of the condenser and a couple hundred dollars of Freon later, we’re back in business.

Needless to say I have added Cool Champs directly to my phone contacts and won’t hesitate to recommend them to friends and family.

Cool Champs performed a great install for my homes HVAC system! Our outgoing system was approximately 20 years old, so after a significant repair estimate we decided it was time to replace it. After conducting numerous interviews, we settled on Cool Champs. Regan talked us through some of the different units available and provided a competitive quote for replacement. It didn’t stop there though - Regan (along with his helper) performed an efficient and professional install, taking time to explain the points of failure in our previous system and how to care best for our new one. Regan offered transparency through the entire process, a feeling I only got from a few select firms. I intend to continue to use Cool Champs for our heating/cooling needs and will refer anyone who asks me to them!
