Got our semi-annual HVAC inspection and service done. Easy to schedule, always stayed contact with us, arrived time, briefed us on what would be done, and explained the services performed at the end of the appointment, including the equipment performance and technical readings. Very professional.

Full disclosure: they did not solve my problem. So, why the five stars?

I have been a customer for a few years. When I called them most recently for an issue I was having I was expecting, and received, the same level of prompt professionalism that I've come to expect as standard with them.

When the tech arrived he was honest about his limitations with the brand of AC that I have and, while his efforts did not solve my problem, he was straightforward and explained to me that the company was not an authorized service provider for my type of AC unit. This was the first I've heard of that in the time that I have used them for AC service, but I'm also aware of that the things I've had them out for are probably industry standard problems. Regardless, when he reached the limit of his knowledge base and believed that my problem would require more specific expertise, he advised me to find a company with specific credentials.

When I asked for a refund of their service fee due to my problems still existing after they left, they issued it promptly and without argument.

Since I now know they aren't a certified service company for my brand of AC, I will use the new company that I found. However, if I used a brand that Lakeway AC was an authorized service company for, I would definitely stick with them. They are honest, conscientious of the time that they are spending, and will answer any questions that you have. Would highly recommend them.

Lakeway A/C was recommended on Next Door so i called them. Ray showed up, listened carefully and knew exactly what to do. He checked everything out, made some adjustments in the attic and did a good job of explaining how to handle the thermostat in the future. He didn't try to upsell us. The fee was very reasonable. He was polite and informative. We feel that we're in good shape now. This will be our go to HVAC company in the future.
