Poor communication and very unprofessional. I requested a quote for cleaning, tech showed up and started unloading machines to do the work. I explained I requested a quote so he provided me a written estimate then charged me $100. I was never informed that I would be charged for a quote until after the paper was handed to me. I would have declined them coming out had I been informed up front.

He showed me the dryer vent buildup which was impressive. so glad we finally got this cleaned out. plus our return vents needed a little more cleaning out but so worth it. now we are good for a year and will make sure they come back yearly for the dryer vent . so glad there are companies that work on the weekends !

Friendly, on time, professional technician Eli. Greenwood came out for deep cleaning needed on our chimney. They noticed some cracks and gaps that would be a safety risk and recommended repairs. They provided an estimate, which I reviewed before scheduling the work. They were willing to come out on a Sunday to complete it. Eli the same tech did the work efficiently and I am pleased with the results.

Tom was great. He let us know what time he would be here and then he showed up right on time. He diagnosed the problem and cleaned the dryer vent very well. He even inspected our duct system for free. We will have him back next year just to make sure our vent is clean. Great communication and a thorough job.A+A+A+

we recently had Greenwood come out for a standard $110 duct cleaning. they did okay with the basic concept of cleaning since they vacuumed up the majority of dust in our return plenum but didn't go deep into any ducts themselves. for the price, that's totally understandable but our experience turned negative when the tech tried to tell us we had mold. our AC guy was out just a couple weeks ago and blatantly had said there was no mold (system is only a year old). the tech tried to scare sell us on UV lights, some duct sanitizing job (definitely don't want to be breathing their sanitizing chemicals in my house), and a separate charge to clean our AC coil -- all for well over $2,000!!! the tech also claimed he'd "have to remove the coil" in order to clean it. I obviously wasn't going to let them dismantle my AC system.
we passed on all the upselling and had our normal AC guy come back out to confirm: the "mold" was just plain old dirt and you clean the coil without removing it.
seems that greenwood might be upselling, fear mongering sales people.
