I’ve been using Mako Industries (formerly MD Dutton and Associates) in North Richland Hills TX, and I couldn’t be more pleased with their work. They’ve handled extensive plumbing upgrades in my home, including installing a tankless water heater, converting water lines, patching and replacing failing cast iron sewer lines with PVC, and more.
The customer service, workmanship, pricing, and overall quality of care have been outstanding. Every member of their team I’ve worked with, including previous owner Doug, as well as Elijah, Sheryl, and Misty, has been professional, responsive, and genuinely helpful.

They’ve helped transform my mid-century home with good bones into a much safer and more reliable plumbing system. I’ll absolutely continue using them in the future and highly recommend them to friends and family.

Steve was awesome. With things shut down due to covid parts were in high demand with a short supply. Steve was resourceful and able to get my unit up and running until this Fall when i had him replace the whole system. If you are looking for someone who is down to earth and wont take advantage of you then look no further.

Very professional fair price. They came out during the current freezing weather 2/19/2020 and repaired my heating system. The heat did not come on. He was able to replace the speed control part of the motor. Very fair price I would recommend Hometown for your heating and cooling needs.

Steve and his crew are the the consummate professionals. They do what they say they are going to do. I recently recently had two old AC units replaced in my home. Steve told me the new units would save me at least 30% on my future electric bills. They’ve actually saved me over 40% for the first two months which is a huge deal since I have two kids in college. I would recommend Hometown to anyone needing a new AC.

Steve and his crew saved the day when our a/c went out the week before the 4th. They were able to come out that day, and got me up and running, but I was going to need a new unit he informed me. I panicked at the thought of a new unit and the costs. Steve was able to give me a fair and very reasonable quote. His crew and himself were there the next day on time to install my new unit They did an excellent job, and I would highly recommend them for any of your cooling and heating needs. -

Without a doubt, this is the best company to use for tuneups to your HVAC system to buying brand new systems. Steve Coker with Hometown is the most honest and reliable guy in the trade and I have used many HVAC companies over the years to install new and maintain older systems for investment properties. They are so good that I use them for my personal residence as well. Many years of experience and not a big company advertising on the radio, and then charging exceptionally high prices. The work is excellent and the pricing is great as well, but more so is the service. You always get a call back, text or email in a reasonable timeframe and they show up on time and on schedule which is key.

We've had Steve at Hometown Heating & Cooling care for our heat pump for years. He's been so helpful fixing odd and random problems with the control board, complex thermostat and even replaced the outdoor compressor when the reversing valve was stuck. Everything was done promptly and for reasonable charges. In fact, very' reasonable. We're so glad that Hometown & Steve are here to keep our house comfortable summer and winter. Thank you!

This company is absolutely amazing! I called after hours at 6 p.m and Luke the technician was here in 20 minutes. He diagnosed the problem immediately and had us back working within an hour! He was clean, thorough and explained every step of how the problem would be fixed. After the repairs, he did a full check of all others components of our A/C to ensure they were no other problems that may arise. Cost was MORE than reasonable and they have a customer for life. Heat and Air Gurus was a life-saver!!!
