We did a complete backyard remodel tearing out the old pool and decking, fence, everything and starting from scratch. The team at Sunstone Pools was phenomenal. We had a few companies meet with us to discuss and bed the project. It was clear from the beginning that Roger from Sunstone understood our vision and had great suggestions and design ideas. They also were glad to render designs in advance where other companies were not. This gave us confidence that the estimates were accurate to the scope of work we intended.

I had some interesting or unique design ideas and they were so supportive in helping us incorporate those ideas. Harold was phenomenal. Great communication. The various crews were very professional and the work was superior. We had a travertine stone patio installed, a beautiful large pergola, water features, lighting. I appreciated that Sunstone had the team in place to tackle all elements of the project. Some of the companies we met with only did a few parts. This was a large project and they were all fantastic to work with.

Now our yard is like being on vacation! I wish I could post more pictures of how phenomenal the yard and pool came out. We spend so much time out there now! -- The Issa Family

We hired Sunstone Pools to build a pool in our backyard. We met with Brad, and discussed our needs. He helped us design a pool that would fit our backyard and our budget. The construction process went smoothly, while there were some delays, Brad was always responsive to my calls. We are very happy with our pool and would recommend them to anyone.

Sunstone designed and built our cabana for us. As a part of that process they helped us resolve a pre-existing drainage problem. They also installed landscape lighting and put new coping, plaster and tile on our pool. Sunstone does quality work and are really good to work with. They listened to us and partnered with us to create an outdoor living area we continue to enjoy immensely. I highly recommend them.

My wife, kids and I are so thrilled with our Sunstone experience. From the get go Jordan designed a fantastic pool combining my asks and the wifey’s ask into a design that had linear, free flow and elevation.

Once the design was complete Brad and a special shout out to LBJ were fantastic on the start up and each stage throughout the process. Any small detail that we asked for was handled - period / exclamation point. Would recommend to anyone building a pool. Thanks to the crews and specifically Jordan, Brad, and LBJ for taking care of the build like it was their own.

Super job, our pool is just gorgeous. Just finished the resurfacing, as far as we can tell it is a quality job, certainly MUCH better than the last job (about 10 years ago). Great communication with the team at Sunstone, good choices available, and educational while we debated on the type and colors of our plaster and tile. Also very helpful in determining the right coping to tie in with our existing 'rustic' look waterfall. Got multiple bids, with Sunstone just one, and they were very competitive. The crew that came was also great. Highly recommended.

Our designer Tony was very patient with us during the initial process, provided several designs that exceeded our expectations, and was very competitive with several other bids.

The owner Brad checked in several times on our project and visited on-site personally to evaluate our most difficult questions.

Our project manager Richard was extremely knowledgeable and professional, provided us updates often, and to-date has delivered on-time and within budget with no surprises. This is our second pool project and unlike our first builder, most construction steps are performed by Sunstone's in-house teams.'

We plan to update soon with photos from our completed project, but recommend Sunstone Pools & Outdoor Living in Southlake without hesitation.

We remodeled our pool, outdoor kitchen, and patio with Sunstone Pools. These large projects can be massive undertaking and quite stressful. Brad and the entire Sunstone team were excellent to work with start to finish. Very professional, thorough, talked us in/out of certain ideas, and managed the entire project stress-free start to finish. I would highly recommend them for your backyard project.

We had a very large covered patio built with outdoor kitchen, as well as second smaller/lower patio to be used for a fire pit area and seating. The whole design was Jordon Holloways idea and was simply amazing. The project was realized and came together superbly by Jim Rollins. Under his guidance everything came in on time, and we truly felt he had great passion for getting things done right. If there were any concerns he took care of them promptly and went above and beyond to provide excellent service.
Jim represented Sunstone very, very well. He would be a huge factor for us if we were considering any other projects with Sunstone. We have recommended Sunstone to many folks for their quality of work. (pictures to come, landscaping in progress).

Brad and Kevin took very good care of us. The new tile and pool surface was done in a clean and professional manner. Pool was originally constructed 30 years ago and the finished product made it look brand new. I had two other companies bid on the project and they had the best value for the dollar. I would definitely recommend this company to family and friends!

We hired Sunstone in 2021 to tear out our old pool and build a new one, along with a complete renovation of our entire backyard. As with any construction project, there were bumps along the way, but Brad worked with us to come up with creative solutions to make the final product perfect. I have been maintaining the pool myself, and even 2 years after completion, Brad is willing to come out to troubleshoot issues and answer questions. As a bonus, they are less expensive than the "other guys" in Southlake.

Everyday we enjoy our backyard paradise. Sunstone created our dream and made it a reality. Highly recommend Sunstone to everyone!

Incredible experience working with Brad and his crew! This was our second outdoor project with Sunstone and from concept to finish, the job was done to a level that was outstanding. The communication and quick response from Brad and Alba during and even after completion is something I have rarely experienced these days. Great company and great people!

I can't say enough great things about Sunstone Pools, Brad and his team. Sunstone was the third bid I received and they were also referred to me. My pool & outside kitchen project was going to be challenging to say the least and Sunstone assured me that's what they do best. Lots of dirt work, tight areas to work in with equipment, retaining walls, multiple permits, pool being built on piers and so on. I knew the project would take time and Brad was there every step of the way. Sunstone was easy to work with and flexible as we made many changes during the build. Sunstone even made certain design suggestions that we had never thought of. I'm glad they did as we ended us using those suggestions to make our pool design look even better. Just outstanding customer service and quality work.

Shortly after purchasing our home, we met with Brad at Sunstone, to discuss the pool remodel. This included the tile, plaster, and coping of the pool, as well as the retaining wall and decking. The old retaining wall was crumbling due to tree roots and poor/no maintenance, and the decking pavers were an unsightly tripping hazard.

We got a very clear bid and project timeline, with an explanation on every line item. As we planned everything out, the team at Sunstone was incredibly helpful, since this was our first pool remodel - what are need-to-haves vs nice-to-haves, what holds up better than other things, how to make the pool water look a certain way, etc.

The project kicked off, and we knew exactly what phase we were at, when it would be completed, and where we were with the draw schedule, at each phase. After the project completed on time, we had an amazing backyard paradise, and no regrets about choosing Sunstone to handle the project. How often do you get to say that?

WOW!! Fantastic company!! We were referred to Sunstone Pools for retiling and resurfacing our pool in Southlake. Mark Bauer, the marketing director was the first person we met and he guided us through every step - from the first look at the pool to an emergency visit (within an hour of texting) on the Sunday after the pool was completed. I have never seen teams work together like the crews from Sunstone!! Each part of the job brought a crew of between 3-9 men and each crew worked together flawlessly. Not only were they clearly experts at their job, but they worked incredibly quickly, were highly focused on what needed to be done and it was amazing to watch them work together - and have fun doing it. Each person who came was professional and, before leaving, asked us if we had questions or any concerns. Lynn, the services superintendent, stopped by several times to review the work and troubleshoot any issues. Overall, just a fantastic company to work with - would recommend Sunstone Pools in a heartbeat!!

Loved working with Sunstone. Jordan was very creative and patient while we iterated to get the design just right. And Lynn was great project manager. We talked almost every day while the process was going. And, as there always are, there were a few things to fix up at the end and he kept me informed all the way. The construction teams worked 6-7 days a week. Construction during a pandemic and during a polar vortex, and it turned wonderfully. We love our new backyard.

Waited a whole Year to do this review on purpose! This company is Extremely Experienced and Professional. Had a few minor issues which is expected for a big project like this. But they are there for you after the Sale 100%.

Small advise wait until the finished product before you complain. Finished product will look just like this. Perfect! Thank you Sunstone and Team!

I have built several pools over the years and Sunstone is one of the worst companies to work with. No supervision on our project. The PM was fired the first week on our job. Takes several calls and follow-ups to get things done. The owner Brad was involved in our project which was very challenging and really didn't make things better. Everything with this company was a challenge. I have had several people ask me who built my pool and there is no way I could recommend this company. They also don't honor their warranty. There's probably a good reason why they moved from Southlake to Colleyville. I rarely write Google reviews but feel obligated to let people know to avoid this company. Hire someone else!
