In early 2014 Sunstone Pools and Outdoor Living completed a renovation of our backyard and pool. Another company was responsible for laying the travertine pavers/deck. Recently we noticed that a number of the travertine pavers had shifted, including a number around the perimeter of the deck. Some also had cracked. Because of Sunstone’s previous excellent work, we contacted Brad for advice. He soon had an awesome team of workers on the job, lifting the old pavers, leveling, and installing new pavers in appropriate areas. They also shored up the perimeter of the deck, inserting rebar so that the shifting would not occur again.

We are grateful for the excellent team of workers and the professional job done in a very timely manner. We are very satisfied with the total experience and highly recommend Sunstone Pools and Outdoor Living.

Our backyard / pool renovation project started 8 years ago when we bought the house…at least it started 8 years ago in my mind. Since then just wishful thinking that is until Jan 2020. We had interviewed a few pool companies getting recommendation and estimates to do a backyard makeover. Of the companies that had come out – they took forever to provide an estimate and offered very little to no ideas. More or less – their approach was “tell me what you want and we will quote that.” This was not what I was looking for. If we were going to spend this type of money – we wanted a consultation and recommendations.

It was the 12th hour and we found Sunstone Pools on-line as the Spray Deck dealer in Southlake and they had many positive google reviews. We decided to stop by their showroom and take a look just before they closed on a Saturday. One of the partners Kevin let us in and happily discussed our vision. During the visit we learned they provided all the backyard makeover services we were seeking. He knew we were trying to make a final decision within the next week and made it a goal to come out, provide his vision for our yard, and provide the estimate quickly.

As our project began to take shape with Sunstone, the other partner, Brad, began to work with us on the final details and managing the project through the end. Brad brought new ideas, was willing to think outside the box and will not settle for less than first in class when it comes to his workers. He expects a lot from them, and they rise to meet those expectations.

We selected Sunstone Pools within 2 weeks of having met them. They delivered the confidence, ideas, competency, and value we were seeking.

We met the project manager Lynn as soon as the job started. Lynn was our guide to what happened that day and the plan for the next few days. This was a large project. Numerous changes occurred along the way. Most by us as we added to scope of job. Almost every-day there were workers were present – project manager Lynn was on-site and/or called me. Was everything perfect? Of course not. Did Sunstone do a great job communicating and getting everything right – YES.

We ended up going with the following:
• Quartz plaster finish – love the smooth finish and look
• Change from salt to chlorine + UV cleaning system
• Glass tile
• Cabo beach entry
• Rolled neck on spa
• LED lights in pool/spa – awesome colorful light shows
• Extra pump to power massaging water cannons
• Hayward equipment and control board – ability to control with phone app is great
• All new travertine decking + increased overall decking
• Landscaping lighting

In the end we spent a bit more that we had anticipated; all by our choosing and decision. We received a great value on everything we selected. We feel that the backyard is like a resort! And just in time for the spring.

My only regrets – I wish Sunstone had built the pool initially. And I wish we would have started the remodel sooner!

I would definitely use Sunstone pools again and have already referred my parents to them! Without hesitation I would refer to my friends.

We started this process March 12th and it was completed before July 18th. We had 5 quotes. We did not plan on doing business with Sunstone. We expected them to be the most expensive. They were not the most expensive but the least. What sold us was the timeline and the promise that they had no supply issues as they were direct distributors. Some of the other companies admitted to supply issues and longer than usual construction times.

After we selected Sunstone we became very concerned. There was 0 communication from the office. With all he recent scams I became increasingly concerned about what was going to happen.

One day I received a call from Brandon introducing himself and saying they were ready to dig. That was may 18th from that point on I had absolutely 0 issues. Brandon was responsive and communicative. He works with integrity and honesty. He undercommitted and over delivered.

He took care of all the trades and made sure everything moved forward.

I also want to say all of the trades worked extremely hard to deliver a quality product. Every one of them from dig to plaster to pool school did a phenomenal job. Good work everyone and thank you.

My family loves the pool and it is amazing to step out and get in the spa or pool.

Only complaint is according to my contract I had to repair all damage to yard and drains except fence and sprinklers.

Sunstone did an amazing renovation on our pool! We bought a fixer upper that came with a swamp of a pool. It had been sitting for years not working and even had turtles in it. After meeting with over 10 pool companies, we went with Sunstone because of their professionalism and expertise. Brad and Kevinn really took care of us. It was a complete renovation- new coping, tile, equipment and plaster. We couldn't be more happy with our beautiful new pool! Highly recommend. Thank you! Thank you! A+++

Sunstone just finished putting in our new pool, and we are very happy. The owner, Brad Cormack, was great to work with and extremely knowledgeable. The company was very attentive to the little issues that always pop up on projects like this and were very quick to resolve. Jordan was very helpful through the design process and Alba did a great job of keeping us in the loop throughout the build. Would highly recommend Sunstone, we love our pool.

We have been very happy with our choice to use Sunstone. We purchased a lot to build a house and started with the pool. Tony was very helpful in helping us plan and implement the construction, Brad worked with us on the construction, and both Lynn and Brad have been instrumental in the finish out and the maintenance education, especially for pool newbies! We never felt like they were trying to sell us more than we wanted. Sunstone also coordinated the turf and stone placement of the yard and patio and they were attentive to making sure it was done correctly. The pool fits our empty nester lifestyle and is perfect for our lot. I know that if I have questions in the future, all I have to do is pick up the phone and call Lynn who is always available to answer my even small questions. You will be happy with the product and service of Sunstone Pools.

Brad Cormac and his team did a complete renovation for our pool, decking, tile, etc and it is beautiful. We could not be more pleased. We highly recommend them. Timely, good follow through and skilled craftsman.

The team at Sunstone did an amazing job on our pool. It started with the design, which was so far beyond anything we were envisioning. When the pool was finished, it surpassed our expectations. They transformed our yard into a resort. No pool project goes off without a hitch, but Sunstone did a great job fixing issues that came up along the way.
