Cannot recommend them enough! They took my disgusting unit and replaced the outside unit, the inside coils, and the motor inside. They cleaned everything so thoroughly and ensured proper operation before leaving. Say hello to home efficiency!!!

I’m updating my original review after the full experience. Ivan from Efficiency Experts was courteous and professional during the initial visit arranged via AHS. He diagnosed the issue as low refrigerant and confirmed there were no leaks detected. Based on that, refrigerant was added, and I was told the system should work fine. Unfortunately, within few days the system failed again and AC was blowing hot air again.

A second visit of Ivan revealed what the first missed: a leaking evaporator coil, requiring full replacement. That alone is a significant diagnostic miss.

What followed was a quote for over $2,300 in "upgrades", many of which AHS later confirmed were not covered under the repair scope. This included things like float switches, drain pans, service maintenance, and other items that appeared to be more upsell than necessity. Contractor rejected to provide a quote only for leaking evaporator coil replacement claiming that all additional items are 'mandatory'.

While the communication and punctuality were good, the initial misdiagnosis delayed proper repair, and the quote strategy eroded my trust. I'm now going through a cash-out with AHS and sourcing a more transparent contractor myself.

Ray from Efficiency Experts has, on different occasions, come out to service my AC units and has always been professional. He was able to diagnose and repair the issues quickly while also providing me important maintenance information.

The technician, Ray did a great job fixing our A/C. It’s really hard to find honest companies up selling you on expensive A/C units. Efficiency Experts comes in and does the job quickly at a reasonable price. We greatly appreciate them.

Ivan was the technician today for my annual service. He was friendly and quick and arrived right on time. He alerted me to some possible issues and offered me estimates. Would definitely recommend this company.

Amazing family owned and operated business. Professional extremely knowledgeable and willing to make sure they educate the customer. I have used Todd for several years and he and his team have never disappointed. They were available at some irregular hours and always met with a smile and professionalism. I would not hesitate to recommend them for any heating and air conditioning needs. I'm adding this comment on June 7,2025. We did a complete system replacement with Trane XV 20 series and gas furnace. We added additional ductwork as the rear of the home was deficient. We replaced a 15 year old Lennox. They started at 0800 and we're done by 1300. They left our home spotless and provided hands on explanation of thermostat features and functions. The first night was the most comfortable night we spent in our home since we purchased in February of 2021.

The installer that came install were swift and efficient.

Be aware of additional charges and things they add to your bill which adds up cost. Not fond of the booking home office rep; they seem to be overloaded and you need to wait on them.

It's always a great experience with Efficiency Expert. I have been a customer for over 10 years. I purchased my HVAC unit through Efficiency Experts and it has been maintained by Efficiency Experts since day one. I have no complaints. Today Ivan did a great job on the biannual inspection.

Ivan was great to work with. I know enough about electrical and hvac to get in trouble, so he was very patient with my questions and answered all of them with ease. He also suggested a few things and left me in working order. I would recommend Ivan again and I will do my best to get Efficiency Experts to be my go to repair contact.

Unfortunately my experience was not like most others. I was referred to them through my home warranty company, they came out inspected my unit, I had my ac vent detach from my unit, as well as some (many) coils bent on my compressor. I was told I needed a whole new unit, mainly due to mouse/ rat fetes (I had a raccoon infestation in my attic and had to replace my roof), that the technician wasn’t comfortable working in “that” environment. Therefore they chose not to include a quote for repair and chose to state that I needed to replace the entire unit. Needless to say, I said NO. Called out another technician and they fixed EVERYTHING for $160.00 , saving me thousands of dollars. Very disappointed in this companies professionalism.

I rarely give bad reviews! But for this one I had to share my experience! DO NOT USE this company!! The office staff were nice and professional but good customer service stopped there!!! My warranty company AHS dispatched them to fix the AC unit and the technician got it working and recommended we replace the unit because it is old and will continue to breakdown and offered to send us a quote for a full replacement BUT their report to the warranty company was different and they did NOT include the technician recommendation to replace the unit!!! They wanted to further repair stuff and our out of pocket cost would be $600 on top of the original $125 copay for the warranty company. I inquired to why their recommendations were different to us vs to AHS the owner was defensive rude and very disrespectful and he hanged up the phone on me!!! I read other customers reviews and they experienced the same thing with this owner!

Ivan was the tech for today, very knowledgeable and excellent communicator. Appreciate him working us into his Saturday schedule.

I had an excellent experience with this company and with Ray, their technician He was cheerful. respectful and knowledgeable. It was late in the day. but he acted like I was his first customer I highly recommend this company.

A sincere thank you to these guys for answering a call at 8pm on a Friday night and showing up just at 9am on Saturday morning. Left the area cleaner than when they got here and completely cleaned the unit. The younger guy even played fetch for awhile with my dog on the way out. Good stuff, these guys.

The A/C went out on Monday. My wife was in the hospital in ICU and my son was very sick with no A/C. i called American Home Shield and they assigned Efficiency Experts A/C for the repair. Initially, the job was assigned to come Thursday. Cindy called and I explained the family heath crisis that we had. She understood and Ivan came out first thing Wednesday and repaired the A/C. Cindy was so caring and understanding of our dilemma. Ivan did a great job and was very professional. I highly recommend their service.
