I refer all of my customers to this company! Always on time, very polite and professional. As a plumbing company who
values honesty and good work ethics, I can't think of a better company to recommend for any HVAC issues! -
The owner David repaired our air conditioner as part of an AHS Home Warranty service call. He was able to quickly identify and address the problems and was pleasant and professional. I would absolutely use him again.

First off my service technician David was prompt in his arrival. He took the time to carefully explain to me why my was not heating. Overall friendly and knowledgeable. Thank you! Sharon

In the middle of a record breaking summer my AC decides to die on me. Texas American Air was on it doing everything they could to fix it and when it was unrepairable they helped install a new system! throughout it all they were professional and understanding they replaced the outside fan and the thermostat inside. It was a hot summer but Texas American Air helped us cool down again. Would recommend them to anyone experiencing AC problems

When we got home, it was warm inside. We figured it was because we left the blinds open or it was just hot outside. It turns out the outside A/C fan wasn’t working. David with Texas American Air responded quickly, diagnosed almost immediately, and we had the AC up and running within an hour of finding out it was broken. Thank you again David for keeping it cool!

David was incredible! What a lifesaver! He came in and diagnosed and fixed the problem within an hour and explained everything perfectly. He also explained very easily some upkeep I can do on my system to prevent any future issues. I cannot recommend this company enough. From scheduling to the end, everything was so smooth and stress free and everyone I dealt with was extremely friendly and professional.

My 91 year old Mother’s A/C went out and her Home Residential Warranty Insurance covered getting the repairs done. So Texas American Air was assigned the job.
Theresa called and the appointment was set Andrew came out diagnosed the problem changed out the thermostat and the A/C was back on.
He was highly professional, personable and knowledgeable in this field. He also did a full diagnostic check of the A/C Unit and stated that it was in great shape and didn’t need anything else. He didn’t try to push any other service or product and that was truly refreshing. I highly recommend Texas America Air for all of your A/C needs.
We received a call from a neighbor on yesterday 8/15 and she shared that she was having problems with her A/C
I gave her their phone number and Andrews name. She called them and within less than 2 hours I saw their van parked in front of her home. Thank you Theresa, Andrew and Texas American Air for your commitment to excellence in service. May God continue to bless the owners, staff and families of Texas American Air for generations to come. ✝️😃 -
We're in Quail Valley, Missouri City. Our A/C died. Our home warranty company refused to cover any work. I started calling around to HVAC companies to see what went wrong. Turns out, we needed a whole new unit/system. Texas American Air was the first to respond and showed up very quickly. After getting other opinions and prices, we called Texas American Air to help us out. We were up and running and cooled off with the best price. They were extremely easy-going and pleasant to work with. I recommend David and his crew 100%.

Used Texas American Air LLC through home warrant company AHS. Brittney called immediately and gave next day appointment. David very professional in first appointment and Chad diagnosed and fixed lingering issue permanently. Awesome experience. I strongly recommend.

I just experienced probably the best customer service of all time. This year I decided to have my 15-year old AC replaced for my home before things get hot this summer. Texas American Air came in with a low, competitive price, with high end brand new equipment.
David and crew finished the job in less time than expected. The workmanship of the installation was of the highest quality. They were professional, helpful, and they answered my questions in a manner that showed they were interested in making sure I was fully educated on my new system. They were also sure to very carefully clean up after themselves.
I am totally recommending Texas American Air to all my friends, and I'll be using them for maintenance. Wonderful work! -
Texas American Air was assigned to my home warranty claim for my A/C that was making very loud noises and the fan not coming on. They scheduled me for the next day, and were early. Richard was the tech, and he was very professional and informative. He had the A/C back up and running in no time, and added a start kit to help save some of the other components from dying early. He went above and beyond to check everything in the system, including checking the Freon and air temp coming out of the vents. It can be difficult working with home warranty, bc they don't always want to cover everything and will try to avoid coverage for silly reasons. Texas American Air worked with the home warranty and made sure everything was covered, saving me time from having to call myself to argue with them. I will 100% request this company again in the future if I have any more issues with my A/C. Thank you, Texas American Air, for a job well done and complete ease of mind! Y'all are GREAT!

Thank you Texas American Air for a fantastic heating and cooling system! Rogelio (not sure if we are spelling correctly!) was the person we worked with most, and he really knows his stuff. The process was easy, and the price was better than others! Thanks again.

Awesome company and a great team! They were able to help get us all squared away after the horrible storm, on May 16, without hesitation. You can tell this company cares about people in general because of the way they treat you and the effort they put into ensuring you have everything you actually need. They don’t try to sell you on things you don’t need and they are honest in what they find. It’s hard to find companies to trust these days, and this is definitely one we trust. I recommend them to anyone that wants top notch quality, a company that really takes your time into consideration, and one that stands by their work and their people.

Andrew was excellent in all aspects. He took the time to explain why the repairs were needed and how I can best maintain my system going forward. He seemed to genuinely care that the job was done well and that my family stays cool this summer. I will definitely be using Texas American Air again next time.

Texas American Air was great to work with. They are very professional and informative. David found the leak in our coil and they took care of filing the warranty with the manufacturer. They called after receiving the part and scheduled the repair. (David made sure that our AC remained working while we waited on everything.) The installation team was on time, explained everything and respected our home by being very careful and clean. After all the work was done, we received paperwork detailing the new warranty information. We will definitely call them for all our AC needs and we highly recommend them.

Thank You David and Brittany! -
Unfortunately Texas American Air, LLC has shown they truly do not care about their customers.
I made payment on July 7 directly to them after being told by American Home Shield to do so as seen in the attached pictures. I’ve spent countless hours trying to get a hold of them, leaving voicemails and trying to speak to American Home Shield to get a hold them. Once they get your money, they disappear. The voicemails, phones, emails etc are not responded to by them.
They finally came out reluctantly on July 21 after having to track them down. After installing new parts, I still do not have a working AC. Nor do I have any communication from them what needs to be done next. It is now July 28 and I still do not have a running AC in 100+ degree temperatures each day. No communication from them to me nor American Home Shield. Not a company to do business with. -
Texas American Air is a fraudulent company and should not be trusted in our community. I paid them $3873 as a down payment in May to install a new AC unit in my home. After they received the funds they stated it would take some time to get the equipment in. After about 2 weeks I reached out to them, and they stated it was on backorder and would take more time. After speaking to the owner David Camacho, he scheduled me for Jul 7th. During this time I asked for a contract/invoice and it took them over a week to give me that. Unfortunately they didn't show on the 7th and did even contact me to about the delay. When I was able to reach them they stated it the wrong equipment was ordered. I waited again another week and was scheduled on Jul 17th. But again they never showed up nor called. I sent demand letter requesting a refund and submitted a claim with the BBB. They did not respond to the BBB complaint and didn't reply to my letter. I've filed a petition in small claims court and I'm preparing for court. Hopefully I will be able to recoup the money I paid. This company was referred to me by my house warranty company. I did make a complaint to them and hopefully they will not be a preferred vendor to anyone in the future. This company is clearly a fraud and do not trust them with anything.

David came out on New Years Eve to my apartments due to the maintenance at my apartments for never fixing my ac problem that was making a cricket sound and my thermometer was having trouble restarting and giving cooling for the last two days of no sleep and sleeping without ac. David saved the day on New Year’s Eve by coming to fix the problem and cleaning out my Freon pipe cause It was dirty and creating the sound. He is very smart and caring a knowledgeable person I’m so glad I can rely on Texas American Air to fixing my ac cause the maintenance here at my apartments didn’t do anything to fix my ac problem! Thank you so much David! I would highly recommend him he has his own business and really cares if I could rate more than 5 stars I would!

This review reflects my personal experience and understanding as an AHS customer, based on documented service records and publicly available information, to the best of my knowledge.
We used Texas American Air LLC through AHS on June 12, 2025, and unfortunately had a disappointing experience. The technician mentioned our AC might have a Freon leak but couldn't confirm it, then added 3 lbs of R-410A at $165 per pound. Even after a $10-per-pound discount, we still paid $465 for the refill.
A month later, we submitted another service request through AHS, and they sent a different vendor (we have absolutely no choice in which vendor is assigned). That technician confirmed there was no leak and the actual issue was a failed AC damper. For reference, R-410A typically costs around $60 per pound — much less than what we were charged — not to mention the fact that low Freon wasn’t even our issue in the first place.
After raising our concerns, Texas American Air responded with a message stating:
"Having another company tell you their cost of Freon is only $60 is outrageous and unheard of. A can of Freon at AutoZone, for your car, costs $50 per can. We inserted 3 lbs of Freon. You paid $465 for a repair for your broken AC, which is a reasonable price."
However, R-410A cannot be purchased at AutoZone, as it is an EPA-regulated refrigerant that requires a licensed technician. Comparing it to automotive Freon is inaccurate. Industry-standard pricing for R-410A is typically between $50–$90 per pound installed, meaning we were charged well above normal market rates.
All details mentioned are based on our invoice, AHS documentation, and follow-up service records. The pricing felt excessive and the initial diagnosis inaccurate. I'd recommend confirming all costs in advance or requesting multiple estimates through AHS before approving any work.
I hope sharing our experience helps other homeowners make informed decisions when using AHS service providers. -
Bryan (Brian?) was early and did thorough work. Tested and tested again. He is always courteous to us and our cat, who is normally afraid of people.
