I looked for a recommendation on Facebook and after multiple people recommended Ron, I gave him a call. He arrived at my home within an hour of calling, and was very polite and professional. He checked my AC system, realized I needed a new fan motor. He went through and explained not only the need for a new motor, but why the other one wasn’t working properly. He was kind, respectful, and efficient. He made sure to clean up after himself, and I feel like he went above and beyond to make sure I was getting a good deal. I would highly recommend anyone that needs HVAC needs contact Ron!

Ron came out to my house within the hour of me calling about my heater not working! He was fast and efficient. He was very professional and explained in detail what the problem was with my heater. He quoted me a reasonable price and got my heater working. Unfortunately, I had to call him back two days later due to a separate issue with my heater. However, Ron was very quick returning to my house and fixing the problem. I am very happy to say I have not had any problems since, especially, during our last two days of below freezing weather. I highly recommend Ron!!!!

I had to come on here and do a review for this awesome company! My husband had Texas Star come out to our home a couple weeks ago because our AC went out...we just bought this house recently...so it was very upsetting. Ron came out and was HONEST with his findings, he didn't try to take advantage of us or the situation, he simply fixed what needed to be fixed, and saved us from what we thought would need to be a full replacement. We know one day we will be looking at having to replace the entire system, but Ron addressed the areas that were causing the problem, and only charged us for what absolutely needed to be replaced. Our AC is running beautifully now, it's nice and quiet...whereas before it sounded like a jet engine taking off, and our electric bill even went down! We just wanted to say how much we appreciate a company with integrity and honesty, which is a hard thing to find these days. Called Ron at Texas Star on a Saturday evening when my a/c quit on me. Returned my call within 10 minutes and was on site in less than an hour. He is a true professional that takes pride in his work and absolutely knows what he is doing. Was able to fix some of the faulty work that previous company had done and got everything working without trying to sell me more than I need. I will be using them from now on for all my heating and a/c needs

Texas star heating & cooling has earned my service for life! My AC unit stopped working on Saturday over Memorial day weekend. Another company came out, told me they couldn't repair it and it needed to be replaced. I started looking for a second opinion. Ron answered my call and came immediately. He walked me through the work he was doing and showed me the part that was bad. He explained everything he did and answered all of my questions. Ron was incredibly thorough, informative, and most importantly HONEST! He repaired my "unrepairable" AC for a very fair price instead of trying to sell me a new one i didn't need. Phenomenal service and very responsive. My A/C unit went down on Friday night of Labor Day weekend. I called Ron at Texas Star first thing Saturday morning, and he had my unit back up and running within two hours of the phone call! Ron is very responsive and gave me a great explanation of the work he was doing while he was doing it. He has definitely earned my business for the future, and I'll certainly be pointing all my neighbors his direction when they need help.

We just had Marco and Elmer over to trouble shoot a couple of issues we have with our Ruud air conditioner. We could not be more pleased with the knowledge and professionalism of these two. I have had issues with this unit several times in the past and when I called Texas Star, I requested someone with experience because I'm tired of dealing with this unit. They came out the same day within two hours and completely went through the entire unite and identified the issue in short time. If this type of service continues, there is no way I would ever call anyone else.

Terrible company and will never use again. One of the men named Ron charged me $321 over what was actually expected. Had to get my lawyers involved. When I asked for an itemized receipt, he gave me an attitude and said, "Well your lawyers should be the ones paying for this then!" And denied me my itemized receipt. They've also did this to a neighbor of mine who's a senior citizen. Will never use this company again and I'm definitely warning others about this place before it happens to them or their family members. Deplorable.

so i was looking online for hours to get some advice about what can be done about my home A/C being very out of date, leaking, etc. while hopefully not spending a huge amount of money. i looked up family owned HVAC companies near me and a gentleman named Ron answered (at almost 5pm on a Saturday)

And i explained to him i that i was just looking for advice. which he gladly gave, he answered l of my questions politely, intelligibly, and honestly for over 10 minutes, knowing he wasn't going to make any kind of sale from talking to me. so i just wanted whoever decides to check the reviews on this company to know that they at the very least would be dealing with kind hearted, honest people.

also Ron did at one point say "I've been doing this over 40 years" and he intends to do it till he dies.

Sorry if that seemed like a useless review but i feel like the character of the person i am doing business with and putting my trust in matters alot.

Ron is the easiest and most understandable person out there. I’ve called him early morning and late nights, he answered and gets to your service asap. Our thermostat was dark and our downstairs unit was not coming on, so I called Ron Niles of Texas Star Heating & Cooling. Ron replaced the thermostat and got the AC running better than it ever. I’ve used Hart HVACfor about 3 years and today I had them come out to check and clean my units. Clayton did an excellent job with service and explained what he did and how to move forward on our old units. He is a great asset for Hart HVAC!
