Lakewood Window Cleaning was a pleasure to work with. They were communicative and diligent. Someone came out and determined they didn't have a tall enough ladder and we weren't sure if anyone would come back given our experience with other companies. They did. And all is perfect. The guy that helped us was so kind and lovely. Definitely recommend this company!

BEWARE of Lakewood Window Cleaning company.

Let me start by saying that this is my first review of any company that has provided a service inside of my home. I like to think I am very accommodating and respectful of locally owned businesses. However, this company has a tag line that reads, “windows so clean you’ll think they’re open” – this could not be further from the truth.

When I requested a bid from the company I specifically asked for the following to be cleaned – inside windows, outside windows, screens washed and window sills. When they first got here they attempted to only clean the outside windows and acted dumbfounded that we had agreed to everything. At one point I thought they were just taking a break but I noticed one of them (there were 2) putting supplies away in his truck. I asked if they were done and he said yes. I said, there’s no way you’re done – I just walked the house and there’s dirt everywhere in the sills and I’m positive that the screens haven’t been done yet. The manager came in and reviewed some of the windows with me. Instead of walking the entire house to address my complaints, he acted super annoyed that I would bring up the areas that I thought they hadn’t done and seemed offended. He did reduce the final price by $75…so yeah me…I got to pay $270 to get to go back and clean my own windows! Here are the problems they left me with…

• Screens. They claimed they “washed” my screens but all they really did was take a brush and lightly dust them and only from the inside – it was not done on both sides. Furthermore, I guarantee you they didn’t do at least half of them because some of the windows actually had grass and other stuff stuck to them so there is no way they even brushed those, much less cleaned them. When I asked for “washing” I assumed they would use soap and water, or some type of cleaning supply, but no. Unfortunately, you can’t see the dirt in pictures.

• Window sills. I was very specific in my request to have my entire window sill cleaned. In fact, this is the very reason I hired a window cleaner – because some of my windows had insects and dirt in them that I found it difficult to get to so I wanted a professional company to clean them. They did not touch a single window sill. When I addressed it with the manager, he said that he has been in the business for over 20 years and they don’t open the window to clean because they don’t have vacuums and that there are zero window cleaning companies that would open the window and clean the entire window sill. At that point he was just insulting my intelligence because how absurd to say that there isn’t a single company that would clean my entire window when I had a second bid for just that service. Please look at the pictures and decide for yourself if you would like to have to clean dirt, dead insects, debris and stains from your windows after paying for this service.

• Broken screen part. You can see from one of the pictures that when they took the screen off they broke one of the holders. Not only did they not tell me about it but they just left it on the floor for me to clean. Classy.

• Lastly, they completely skipped some of our windows and doors including our front door, which was not touched – at all! Are you kidding me?

I noticed that 2 screens were left off my windows in the front and they failed to do 3 side windows due to wasps. I cleared the wasp nests and he still wouldn’t do them. He left. I called twice and got no call back. Very unprofessional and not the way you handle a good respectful business. Please avoid using them. Told my neighbors in our newsletter not to use them.

These guys have serious road rage problems. For the record, that vehicle that you were so aggressive to did use their blinker. You did not want to let them in however they did have the right of way.

Be more considerate of those around you, especially when representing your business.

I highly recommend Lakewood Window Cleaning. Blane and his crew have been coming to my house for many years and I am always happy with the results.

I have used Lakewood Window toCleaning for several years, and their work has been excellent. I was impressed with cleaning the outside windows that the crew member first removed and thoroughly brushed off the screens. He was very thorough in soaping down the windows themselves, which had a buildup of dust. The indoor cleaning was efficient and thorough, and the owner Blaine even tests windows with locks to see that they are secure. The price is very reasonable compared with other cleaners, and it has not increased during the years I’ve been using the company. I also love it that this is a local, private company in the neighborhood.

I wanted to leave a positive review. Lakewood came to clean my gutters, but the cleaner couldn't get to my backyard even though I had given the code to my lock. I messaged to address the issue and they came back 2-3 x to get the job done right and did an excellent job. Highly recommend them for their service and responsiveness. They wanted to make sure I was satisfied which meant a lot to me.

I just moved in to my new apartment, and was planning to replace the creaky old sofa in it. I just got a job recently so I couldn't afford a new one yet. Instead of buying, my mom suggested to give Gaston Rug Cleaning a call and have it cleaned. Wow! The staff also helped me fix it so I don't have to bother replacing it. Thank you!
