I had a great experience with Happel last year when they fixed my ac so decided to try out their preventative maintenance services this year. Team was quick to schedule, showed up on time, and had great communication. They were helpful and informative as they explained some potential needs/opportunities without ever making it feel like I was being oversold. Good experience and would definitely recommend to others.

It was a pleasure doing business with Rick. He and his crews were extremely thorough and professional. They were able to repair my HVAC system for a fraction of what it would have cost to replace, and it’s working much better now. Before Happel Mechanical, I previously had another contractor do some work on the system and I thought they were decent. But after having Rick come out and do a real inspection, I realized that the other contractor didn’t know what they were doing and didn’t really resolve the underlying issue. Thanks to Rick and his team I finally feel like my AC is ready for the brutal Texas summer!

Before I called Rick, I had two separate companies tell me my configuration was too complex for them to take on. Rick and his team took it on and did a fantastic job. I will not use another HVAC company so long as Happel Mechanical is in business.

Rick Happel and his entire crew were absolutely fantastic!! I had two complete HVAC units replaced by them. It was a two day job and they arrived each morning at 8:30am and went right to work and didn't stop until they were done each day. One crew outside installing the new A/C compressor and another crew in the attic installing the new furnace. They made sure I was in the loop as they progressed through the project and when they finished the install, they went over everything they had done. They, also, assisted in programming my two new thermostats. When they left, they took all the old equipment with them. They left my premises, both inside and out, as clean as when they arrived.
I can highly recommend Happel Mechanical for any and all of your HVAC needs.

Rick and his team are fantastic. This is the second time I’ve used them and both times they are very kind, hard working, and knowledgeable with the problems I have had with my ac unit. They are thorough and have always done a quality job. They don’t rush and make sure everything is working properly before leaving. They are also very clean and wear disposable slippers inside, as well as pick up any debris that is left from the work. In addition, they are reliable and were able to fit me into their schedule quickly and gave me updates on when they would be arriving. I will be using them again in the future.

Rick has helped me several times when my heater malfunctioned in the past years. He is professional, timely, fair in pricing, reliable, and trustworthy. I never feel like he’s trying to oversell me anything and he is available for follow up if needed. Much appreciation to Rick and the way he runs his business.

Rick and the team were fantastic. They installed a new HVAC unit in our home and were transparent about the process every step of the way. Quality of the work was top notch and we're very happy with the finished result.

I want to leave a great review because I heard great things about this company but I had them out for a estimate to replace a 1.5 ton unit in a 688 sq ft condo. He said I needed a new capacitor even though my unit was still operating and cooling I told him I just needed the estimate for the AC replacemdnt not to worry about the capacitor but he sent his helper to replace it anyway and said he would just count it as part of the install which later was quoted to me to be over $10,000. I can by no means afford that much for a unit that small and was sent a bill for $450 to replace the $50 part I asked him not to do in the first place. I feel a bit taken advantage of and will continue my search for a reasonable HVAC company to replace the AC in my condo. I'm quite disappointed in this company's tactics.

I could not be more satisfied with the service I received from Rick and his team this afternoon. He and Jeffrey were incredibly personable and professional, knew exactly what was going on with my AC, and were able to replace a pump that was well on its way out. The loud and obnoxious noises coming from HVAC closet have been completely disappeared so they won't be suddenly waking me up in the middle of the night.
