If I could give one star I would. I have an old unit and I know I need to upgrade my system. My mother was kind enough to send them pictures of the unit; due to Covid19 they said they can write up an estimate on pictures alone. I work from home and am a single mom so it's important that I get at least 3 quotes to compare and ask all the questions I want, before I make a decision. I believe most homeowners feel this way. I am currently working from home so I was given notice that I would be meeting with the Technician and Patricia who spoke with my Mother. The men who arrived did not wear PPE (face mask, gloves, or have hand sanitizer on their person). They started taking apart surrounding frame of my unit that is in my hallway, telling me that they are prepping for the technician to arrive. I asked them to hold off till he arrives and we spoke about location, measurements, and small talk while we waited for the Technician and Patricia. I was informed that the reason for Patricia was because she had the contract for me to sign. I am not signing any contract; I am needing a quote. Once the technician arrived myself and the first gentleman eager to pull at my base boards showed him that the model they predetermined for me did not fit. However "They could make it fit". They explained I would just need to hire additionally a contractor to repair every place they have to cut into, which they are not liable for. Again the thought of a different unit didn't come up, presumably because this is the one they already had in their truck. I told them my home was previously treated for water damage in 2013 so before any walls are cut, torn down, or removed, I would need to speak to a contractor about cost, structural integrity, and if the past water damage resulted in mold within the walls. Everyone was in agreement that I would feel more comfortable talking to a contractor first and hopefully at that time they would have done their due-diligence to present me additional models to compare. At this point they left and I continued to work from home. I started getting hot and a little light headed and I wrote it off as medication from spraining my arm and ankle (arm in a sling very recent trip to the ER.) for a bad fall. I was going to lay down and I saw the thermostat reading that the house was hot, so not just me. I held my hand up to the vent and air was circulating, but not cold air. I went to check the outside unit and it was taken apart in pieces! I immediately called Patricia who didn't fully grasp why I was upset. I told her no one told me that there were people outside disassembling my unit and then not putting it back together! I did not authorize this and further more they did this and left thinking what exactly? I didn't even know there were more people than the ones in my house! Patricia tells me that the person who took it apart is in Ennis, TX and it will take him a long time to get back to me. I asked if they only have one technician, because common sense would be to send the closest one available NOT just the one who caused the problem. She said it would be "something she brings up in her 5:00 meeting". This was just poorly handled and unprofessional all around. I took my son and dog to my Mother's home and asked Patricia to have the technician call me when they were on the way. I had made sure to turn off the brakers to the furnace and AC condenser but I need to be home to be able to turn everything back on to make sure everything is in working order. The technician arrived at 7pm and was very nice but a little upset because this wasn't his job he worked on, and was pulled from dinner to fix someone else's mistake. After some hours he called a friend of his with no affirmations to the company but qualified (probably more so) to assist. The issue wasn't that it was disassembled, but it was torn apart every which way. He said that he presumes who ever did the damage maybe thought it was being scrapped so wires were ripped out and so on. After rewiring, soldering, cutting, replacing parts, - continued

Just don't, go with a well known professional company They might have a professional license but the work isn't. Tdlr will be investigating this company soon on my current issues. The company wanted me to have another company list out all the issues with our instal that ac united did, today we got a half price quote to fix the issues that they originally did. No thanks. I messed up paying 10k for a new ac and heat install was a deal for trash installation and allot more money for electric bills going with this cheap company and bad work ethic and customer service. do not go with this company. Also check the addresses so far there's 3 that are listed for the same company

Craig was an amazing guy to work with he arrived on time and provided so many options. Price was much less than the giys who advertise in TV. He's very knowledge and patient. 100% satisfied. Air conditioning failed Friday afternoon and he provided with a hotel for 2 days while the repairs were made. He put me and family in a very Hotel in the Houston Galleria area. Installers were just as professional.
Highly recommend. -
Honest work and very reliable. They came in on time, finished the install early and even cleaned up.

Rob was my salesperson he was great! Thank you so much, my heater works EXCELLENT!

This is what they left us with. My parents are seniors and disabled and are currently without a\c. The pictures below illustrate that they did not properly secure the ducts and only used tape. Additionally. The heater is also not installed properly and not level and appears to have been damaged during installation. We’ve been reaching out all weekend and all they want are the license numbers for the techs that found the problems
Update - 06/20/2022 Just spoke with a tech after being pawned off from customer service who refused to send a tech to inspect this week without charging a service fee.....to inspect the mess they left.....a service fee. I also requested to escalate and he said they didn't have time for me because the owners are lawyers. Don't get sucked in by the low price.....you get what you pay for has never been more true -
Staff did a great job and the installation crew were AWESOME as well . This is a great Company easy to work with. 😄

STAY FAR AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY. I was contacted by this company after requesting quotes from multiple providers. I went with them because the salesperson seemed very knowledgeable and gave me the best price. They were able to come the same day to replace my unit, but that's where the positive experience ends. The crew they sent was very unprofessional. They tore down my fence, causing significant damage and refused to repair it until I would not release the funds from the loan company. Their crew left cigarette butts all over my backyard. In order to compensate for my damaged fence, they took $600 off the price only after I threatened to contact TLDR ( THEY DID NOT WANT THAT BECAUSE THEY ALSO KNOW THAT THEY FAILED TO GET THE PROPER INSPECTION REQUIRED BY LAW). Fast forward 11 months later, the unit has completely stopped working, and not only that, I discovered that they left my old furnace in the attic and did damage to the light fixture, even though the contract states that they will remove old equipment from the premises. I called the number on the invoice and got no answer but instead a text message stating they were busy helping other customers and to provide my name and what my issue was. I provided them with my name and issue in response to their text, and never received any response. I contacted the owner, Wilmer Navarro directly, since I had his phone number from the fence incident. He had come out to inspect personally and told me to call him directly if I ever had any issues. However, he did not respond either. I contacted the loan company good leap who provides their financing. Even though I have paid the loan in full, they said they will contact AC unit on my behalf, and get back with me in a couple of days. The woman I spoke with gave me the 888 number that I later found is listed on their website. I called the 888 number and a woman answered. After stating my issue, she said I needed to contact the 'service department' and that she didn't have the number on hand and that she would text it to me later. Very unprofessional. I never received any text from her. They offer a one-year parts and labor warranty, but obviously they do not honor it because they do not respond when there are problems. Now I have reported them to TLDR, so we will see what becomes of it and I will update this review. The owner is not reputable and does not stand behind his product. I'm sure they hope the unit will last at least a year since they will never provide warranty service or honor their contract.

Worst experience ever as a homeowner. My system was installed May of last year, but did not work until September, my house was constantly at 80 degrees, once it started running in Sept. it wasn’t bad. Last week (8/3) my AC went out again, reached out to the salesman and he blocked my phone number. Upon going upstairs to look at my unit, I found that my float switch for my drain pan was not connected, my door switch which is a safety switches was taped over and my third dampener (which was a decent amount of money by itself) was not connected. I have tried to contact the company and all I ever get is the same ole line, we’ll get back to you. I never hear anything. Unfortunately, I will have to take legal action. I spent over $20k with this company and it has been nothing short of a nightmare, please do yourself a favor and go with someone else.

I had a great experience with AC United from start to finish. The AC installation was done superbly—everything looks immaculate and professionally installed. The system is running perfectly and cooling great.
The service was excellent, communication was clear, and the entire process was fast and easy. The crew was efficient, respectful, and clearly knew what they were doing. I highly recommend AC United if you’re looking for quality work and a smooth, stress-free experience. -
Excellent experience from start to finish. The technician was on time, professional, and clearly explained what was wrong with my system and how it would be fixed. The work was done efficiently and everything was left clean afterward. My HVAC is running better than it has in a long time. Fair pricing and great customer service—highly recommend.
