I was in need of a brand new unit. I had Jorge the owner come out to my home personally to make an assessment. He offered a great deal on a new unit. I moved forward with the work. Well that was the worst mistake ever. After this unit was installed the first summer it already went out and stopped working. I reached out to them and they had a tech come out and diagnose the problem. He tells me that the motherboard is bad and needs replaced. How when this was replaced less than a year ago? Well that part was over $300. Replaced the motherboard and still nothing at all. I then I had to find another company come out to figure out the problem because there was no col air. The other company comes to inspect and come to find out when Mandragon Mechanical installed the brand new unit they never flushed the lines from the previous Freon. So my TXV went out and had to be replaced. Had that replaced and worked for a while and the next summer it is out again. Had to once again and call another company out. They come over and tell me that this was one of the worst installations they see. This company finds all sorts of problems. I am told my AC ISN’T EVEN UP TO CODE!!! They failed to put conduit around the live wires feeding to the outside unit. My ground wire was not even connected to anything and my motherboard in the attic unit is not even mounted. Just thrown in there to sit. I have already had to install multiple fuses do to this. Worst of all they pretty much tell me that this unit is no longer any good. I have a bad TXV, I have an evaporator coil leak and also a condenser coil leak. So now I am paying more to fix it than what I did to replace it with company. I truly hope everyone and anyone will think twice about using this company. In the conclusion of everything for using this company I am out $14k and have been without cool air for over a week and I have 3 kids and 2 dogs to look after. I emailed Jorge telling him my concerns and how I am feeling and that he basically robbed me and I have not even heard a peep from him or this company that supposedly cares for its customers. Again if you are reading anything in this review let it be “DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY”

HIGHLY RECOMMEND! We are first time homebuyers and discovered our AC wasn't working upon moving into our home. We were told by another reputable Dallas HVAC company (starts with R and rhymes with defiant) that we needed to "replace our entire system" and were quoted $28,000 minimum. Needless to say, we were devastated, as no issues had been discovered on our home inspection. We decided to get a second opinion from Mondragon Mechanical. They were extremely helpful and honest. They told us that while our system is older, it is functional and not in need of full replacement at this time. They replaced our broken thermostat (the source of the problem) and inspected the system, making recommendations on how often we should change the filters given our specific circumstances. We will definitely use them in the future when we do decide to upgrade our HVAC system.

The service was amazing! From start to end. Kimberly was great at explaining our options for the AC unit and she did not push extra things to get. It was a plus that she spoke Spanish. Omar and his colleague were very professional and got the job done. I highly recommend them for your AC services. Thank you again.

We had a new system installed yesterday for AC and heating. The crew came and had it finished in half a day within a couple days of the estimate. Explained the system, filter and thermostat. I was surprised they were able to come out with the weather being rainy but they got the job done. The price was very fair compared to the outrageous estimates we had from other companies in the past which is why we put it off for so long. Thankful a friend passed their name along and we were able to get a new unit in time for summer.

I recently had Mondragon Mechanical install a new air conditioning unit, and overall, I am extremely satisfied with the service. The team that came to do the installation worked with great precision and care, leaving everything clean and organized. Their attention to detail and professionalism truly stood out.

One minor issue I encountered was with scheduling. We had agreed on a specific time for the installation, but they did not arrive as scheduled and there was no communication about the delay. However, despite this, their workmanship and the quality of the installation more than made up for it.

I have been a Mondragon customer for a LONG time, and they just completed another new install; they are THE VERY BEST, always here when I need them. I would not even THINK about relying on anyone else for HVAC, and neither should you!

They came out did not fix my air conditioner issues and charged me anyway. They also quoted me $6100.00 to replace a part. The next day I had another air conditioner company who found water flowing all over and it leaked through my roof. I was told the replacement part was not necessary Hey were extremely rude and refused to let me speak with the owner. The manager lady talked to me like a pig. No interest in trying to work with me on a way to fix the problem. DO NOT USE THESE PEOPLE!!!!!

Mondragon Mechanical was an amazing company to work with. From the office ladies to the ac technicians on site, everyone was a pleasure to deal with and very professional. The technicians showed upon time and had the work completed when they said they would. The system they installed was high quality and they were happy to show me how everything worked and answered all my questions. I was happy with the company from start to finish.

I found Mondragon by chance and Kim was prompt and answered all my questions and concerns. I had a two ac unit replacement, 2 furnaces, and 2 coils and the price was the best by a long shot vs other quotes from other well known companies. Kevin and crew came out and did an amazing install. I’m particularly not pricing the efficiency gains in cooling the house. Overall I would recommend Mondragon Mechanical to anyone doesn’t want to get price gouged.

I was in a tough situation and Kimberly pulled a team together to get me out of my jam. Javier and his team were respectful of our home and got the work done. Mondragon is a phenomenal group and I would recommend them hands down. It was amazing how quickly they were able to come out and fix everything the other group messed up. In the summer of 2019, we had 2 brand new Trane units installed, paid upfront in full. Not even 3 months later, there was an issue. A tech never showed up at the scheduled time, and when I sent them a question asking why, a tech did eventually show up....past 11 P.M.

2020, everything ran smoothly, until 2021. From that year since, there always seems to be an issue with the units. Not only that, either the techs never show up when they are scheduled, only to receive a text past the slotted time asking if we can reschedule, or they claim we weren't scheduled for a specific day when texts show otherwise. Last November, we purchased maintenance plans for our 2 units to prep for winter and summer, and our scheduled summer visit was slated for yesterday, May 23rd. However, lo and behold......nothing. No text, no phone call, nothing. Last month, one of our units was malfunctioning (*again*), so I contacted them to inform them about the issue, but as we have a portable ac and that the scheduled visit was a few weeks away, we figured we could hold out until then. I *specifically* mentioned May 23rd a few times, but as this week was winding down, I KNEW we would not be getting what we paid for, due to past experiences as stated previously.

They have no problem taking one's money, but when it comes to actually fulfilling their end of the transaction, zilch. Seriously, it you do value peace of mind and great customer service (who wouldn't), go elsewhere.

**UPDATE 6/1/25**

Spoke to Kimberly on Tuesday, and although I am still sore about prior issues, I was satisfied with the service provided by the tech (Guillermo) on his visit on 5/31. He showed up before the scheduled time and was very polite, so I am amending this review to make note that they did apologize for what transpired the week before.

I loved this company! They walk you thru it and make sure they explain everything to you and the installation was super fast and really nice workers! The prices are really good!!

These guys were great throughout the whole process. Jacob was very helpful and informative when it came to determining the right units and system for my house, and was forthright on pricing and what to expect. The installers were professional, friendly, and kept my house clean while doing all their work. I would highly recommend Mondragon for any HVAC issues!
