my home warranty company sent this company out to solve a condensation issue with my ac unit. they charged me $490 to hose down the outside section and vacuum the inside compartment, claiming the unit was dirty and therefore freezing up. they also explained that this would not be covered by my warranty. assured that this would resolve the issue, I agreed to the proposed fix. 3 days later the condesation was back and I haven't been able to reach this company for resolution. I finally had to pay a different company suggested by the warranty company to come out, find the leak and repair it properly. still haven't heard from vaughn's... this company has proven to be very disappointing .

Seriously have all licenses etc to run this business and apprentice paperwork etc bonded and insurance?

Vaughn a/c will be my go-to from here out. He was out quickly, professional, honest, upfront and very reasonably priced. He will be my new ‘guy’… if you don’t have an a/c ‘guy’, Walt should be it.

Walt was awesome. He showed up twenty minutes after I called and completed the job on the same day charging significantly less than what several other companies had quoted. Walt was courteous, knowledgeable, and truly concerned about providing the best solution to my situation.

I’ve been trying to find a plumber for three weeks that would actually show up to fix my mom’s kitchen sink. I finally just googled “plumber near me” and started calling. Mr. Vaughn was the first to answer and was at my mom’s house within 20 minutes! He told us what to go get ourselves to save money and said he would come back and fix it right up! He didn’t even charge us for his time and labor today. Thank you, Mr. Vaughn!

Walt- Mr. Vaughn came to our house to fix a copper pipe that had frozen and burst during the hard freeze last week. We called many plumbing companies but none could schedule us for a week! We had no water or power. Mr. Vaughn answered the phone and was on his way within the hour. He came to our home even though the roads were complete ice and got our water turned back on. Without his service we would have been without water for a week!

After getting an estimate of 1800 to replace coils (including parts warranty) from another company after it "discovered" a leak....I called Vaugh's. Walt gave me an estimate $600 cheaper....then came and investigated. He said he found no leak and recommended just waiting and seeing how it did the rest of the summer. After working several hours...NO CHARGE. It is nice that not everyone is out to burn you! I was left very impressed and thankful.

I contacted this company to repair a broken wire somewhere in my home. Mr Vaughn arrived on time and was appropriately dressed. After inspection it turned out to be a blown breaker. I had been told by my home owners warranty Co originally that the problem was expensive and a fire hazard. Mr Vaughn was trustworthy and honest. He could made up a problem but did not. He charged a reasonable fee and scheduled my appointment immediately. I have used his company for over 15 years some of the repairs have included ac/heating, dishwasher, fridge, washer/dryer, and plumbing to name a few. All charges have been fair and each service has been repaired accordingly. I highly recommend this company.

Responsive, trusting and very hardworking!

I used Vaughn AC Heating & Plumbing Service to replace (remove/install) a warrantied HVAC compressor. I had an inoperable A/C unit. I called Walt, the tech/owner(?), after waiting two days (literally, two days in the middle of the Summer heat) on another company (Daniel’s) to quote me out and schedule an appointment. Eventually, that company provided one and I felt the cost (parts and handling = $1795.00) was too high.

Walt arrived 1hr after our first call and diagnosed the problem. I didn’t tell him what the other company quoted me at. Walt diagnosed the same cause (free of charge), quoted me $700 less than the first company and preformed the work that day. He’s a man of his word, I trusted him to complete the work while I ran errands and he never came back to me for up charges. He didn’t ask for any money down / no deposit...we had an agreement, something many other companies can’t seem to comprehend nowadays.

I can’t say enough positives about this company. He preformed great work and the unit runs perfect! He was also very enjoyable to talk to...a Vietnam Vet, so please thank him for his service if you get a chance...thanks, Walt!
