... Recently, we had all the duct work replaced and reworked, and we got a new heat pump here at this humble abode. (Yeah, we should be good for a LONG, LONG time.) We have trusted Air Patrol with our comfort here for 20 years. Shawn Gazor and his team are knowledgeable, extremely efficient, and personable. Jay, the technician, was patient in explaining the new technology to us. Charlie, the work foreman, was all smiles and all work to get the job done quickly and RIGHT THE FIRST TIME. They were able to have all this work completed within 5 days of our initial call to them. How remarkable is that!!!
Here's a little story: One excruciatingly HOT Texas summer, our friend's air-conditioner went out. This friend had a toddler and a 3-month-old at the time. Imagine just how busy Shawn and his crew were with so many people in the same situation as our sweet friend. Shawn somehow managed to work her in and extended his work day by a few hours that day. He just couldn't stand it that this young mother and children would be without air-conditioning that night. Well, they would have come to spend the night with us, you know, but the point is that empathy and caring was there.
So here's my review for AIR PATROL. Call them if you need work of this kind. You will not be disappointed, friends!!!

We have used their services for several years. Their technicians are always very professional, on time, respectful, and polite. They will never try to sell you something that you don't need. Be aware of technicians that get paid based on commission. Air Patrol technicians are paid by the hour, so they are very trustworthy and will not try to sell you stuff you don't need. In the past, we had another company trying to sell us a $4K new part, telling us that otherwise the system would break soon. This was a few years ago, so we called Air Patrol and they inspected our system and they said there were no issues. Our system has been running perfectly for many years. Thank you!

Blake responded to an alert on our digital smart thermostat. He was able to find & resolve the issue on one of our outside units in a timely fashion & reset the thermostat. 2/2026

Historical:
We continue to be on a maintenance agreement since we contracted with Shawn (the owner) to completely remove 2 - 18 yr old HVAC units & all duct work & vents in approx fall of 2017.
My husband & I no longer have sinus infections & our allergies symptoms have been significantly reduced.
Can't say enough positive things about this company.

I have been using Air Patrol for about 5 years, and over that time, all my home HVAC equipment has been replaced and serviced by them. Their work has consistently been of the highest quality, and their service, when needed, has been prompt and effective. Their prices are reasonable, and they only install quality components.
Shawn is doing a great job providing service to the metroplex. I wouldn't recommend any other company!

Shawn @ Air Patrol Air is the best!!! We have been using them for our business for over 13 yrs +. I can't say how much we appreciate Shawn. When ever we have an issue, he will send someone out A.S.A.P to fix the issues w/our AC. He gets us up and going pretty fast. Update: my third AC coil decided to kick out this year (not one I previously replaced) and I called back Shawn and his crew to help get out and fix the coil.

Francisco, Yorman, and Ramon, came back to my house and did a fantastic job replacing the coil and and in the process making my older system more efficient by reorganizing the duct work. Can’t keep raving enough about this company. These guys are honest and fair and they go the extra mile to create lifetime customers.

Original Review: Shawn and the team at Air Patrol did an amazing job installing 2 new 2 ton systems. Shawn is an honest guy in a shady business. I had quotes from 10 different AC companies and picked Air Patrol because of their value and the fact that Shawn took the extra time to walk me through how my current system can be improved through a better install and repiping. His team went above and beyond during the 2 day install and even cleaned up some other wiring in my attic. Highly recommend this company!

The service tech Mr. Hernandez was on time for the appointment. Inspected my system and provided a good detailed report on what he found, no issues with my system.

Air Patrol is always on time and do great work.

I have worked with Shawn and the Air Patrol team for many years and have always valued their work & professionalism. They are always quick to respond, on-time and get the job done right the first time.

Gilbert is an incredible, proficient, professional, and thorough technician. He called us to let us know he would be at our hour within 30 minutes. He is always very courteous and let's us know exactly all that he has done on our units. He is definitely an asset to Air Patrol.

1) Shawn is very knowledgeable and figured out what the issue was which other companies could not. His knowledge is above and beyond most air conditioning and heating companies
2) We also had another issue with an outside compressor which he was able to figure out quickly. We had called another company who was not able to detect.
3) Shawn and Beto were very courteous and professional I highly recommend them for any issues with air conditioning and heating.

Gilbert did a thorough job. He was very polite, prompt and efficient. He replaced my air filter and checked all aspects of my unit. I'm very pleased .with Air Patrol and there are service technicians.

After many visits from four other companies who failed to resolve my issues and complete work that was discussed I am proud to say Gilbert was on time and was able to figure out all of the little hidden things that would make my ac run at the highest efficiency. Thank you to Gilbert and Shawn as well. Thank you for your thorough and informative analysis. Can't wait to get it completed and rest easy knowing I can trust everything is peak!
UPDATE 3-12-26:
Blake and Marcus came and completed all of the items that were discussed in prior evaluation. They explained what they were doing and how things should function. They took the time to make sure everything was precise and working perfectly. I could not be happier with the work and value Air Patrol has provided.
