Honest up front. The tech tried to repair my washer but when he found it that was beyond repair he gave me a refund instead of ripping me off and told me I was better off getting a new washer. There’s something wrong with the motor and fixing it would cost more than a new washer. Checked other places his word checked out. So I’m grateful that he refunded instead of lying and ripping me off. This is a good honest upfront professional company

We were not charged what was told before scheduling, then repair would of cost almost the amount of a new washer. Not worth it.

I had service done in March on the fridge and then service done on dishwasher in April. The services guys were on time, very friendly, and knowledgeable. The person I contacted for services was friendly and got me serviced quickly. Recently I realized I had lost one of the invoices and reached out to Advantage to for a copy of it and they immediately provided me with a copy. I might have gotten service done cheaper, but it was worth the quality service this company provided. I highly recommend this company.

    Thank you,

I used Advantage Service when my AC stopped cooling, which cost me $1300. The blower motor was replaced, but the system failed to cool. The next day, I hired another HVAC company. They performed a full system diagnostics, which revealed the real issue to be a refrigerant leak. I later learned low refrigerant should be one of the first things checked, costly lesson learnedI I recommend asking for full diagnostics before approving repairs. I’m sharing this to help others make informed choices.

Mr. Richard came to my house to fix a refrigerator that was not chilling. He came to inspect it and quoted me about $500.00 and I gave him half so he could order the part. He then returned to "fix" the fridge. After he left, the refrigerator was super cold and everything in the top area was frozen and there was a constant leak coming out from a side of the refrigerator. He returned and blamed it on the part he had just installed. He had to return to fix the fridge, and in moving the fridge, he produced several marked scratches on my wooden floor on a very visible area. I reached out to him after he told me he would reach out to his insurance company and he replied, via email, refusing to fix it saying it was my fault and that his insurance would not cover the damage. I am disappointed to report that my fridge is still not working properly. Do not hire this person to do any repairs. He does not offer customer service. I will complain to the BBB. I am sorry I called him. UPDATE: Now, December, 2024, my fridge is still not chilling properly. My veggies freeze if left in the drawer and things left in back of fridge freeze as well. Im now seeing water leaking out of bottom of fridge. I have decided that it is time o purchase a new unit. In conclusion, Mr Richard never fixed my fridge AND he only scratched my floor. Do not use his “services”. You will not be satisfied.

I had an outside pipe burst from the recent freeze, and found these guys on thumbtack. They were here within 90 minutes and had me fixed up in less than 2 hours. The tech, Dillon, was friendly, professional, and knowledgeable. The same can be said for Richard who handled the scheduling and payment.
Price wasn’t cheap, but fair, given the circumstances and promptness of the resolve. Wouldn’t hesitate to use them again!

Service representative called just before the three-hour window expired to cancel the appointment. Rescheduled the next day, only to get a 15 minute "diagnosis" of problem. Part would require a 3 to 5 month wait. After all this, I was told there was a $89.95 service fee...What a waste of time and money!!

Worst place to buy appliances they have a good scam going if you call them to fix or to get a quote for repairs they will lie and tell some astronomically high price to discourage from repairs and then they offer to replace it for you for discounted price but the gig is once you get that one home it will also break down and then they will offer to charge $100 fee for house calls to diagnose it and then offer to replace it new delivery fee and new price ,another appliance by the time you have realize that you are being scammed it’s too late you’re already out of few hundred dollars and a broke machines..less money and hassle to just go and buy new one but Olea not from Abby appliance..they are scammers all machines will break down after getting it home and they don’t care and will not come back to fix without another fee even if they give you warranty THEY DO NOT COMPLY..worst place to buy or repair appliances save your time and money go anywhere else guarantee

I would refer everyone to shop at Abby’s Appliance. I had called first to get the address once I arrived the staff was very friendly and polite. The staff explained everything to me and my husband about the warranty and delivery. After we purchased a refrigerator they offered us a discount on any next purchase or service. They also service A/C units! Great place. Thank you Abby’s Appliance!!

Invited him over to bid repair my machines , billed me $125 to tell me they were too old to repair & would provide replacement options, never did, never called back, never followed up, sorry service, left money on the table. Repair the machines myself for $150 worth of parts.

Reply to Abby's response...The ONLY thing your guy did was run machines thru cycle and tell me what I already knew. I gave you the chance to quote repairing or offer a REPLACEMENT machines. You did neither. Oh and your guy was here barely 1 hour to run two machine thru a 45 min cycle. Just sayin.....

Purchased a brand new Whirlpool washing machine for $399 at best buy 45 mins before walking in here. Found a matching dryer to my new washer and asked how much it was, "$300" used all dinged up. Why on earth would I pay $300 for one that looks terrible when I can buy a brand new one for practically the same price. Looked around for lower priced dryers and the worst ones they had were $200, and all looked like they had been run over by a truck. Definitely better prices through FB marketplace then you would pay here.... Not to mention rude employees!

Our 3 year old LG washing machine was displaying an OE error code for which I replaced the drain pump myself 18 months ago. I didn't want to go thru that again. I called up Abby Appliances. Labor and parts were reasonable and they scheduled me for next day service. Helio Sandoval arrived at the scheduled time. He replaced the pump and voila! problem solved. (This makes it sound simple but I know better... I've messed with the baffles on these frontloaders before.) I was thoroughly impressed with Mr. Sandoval's professionalism. The experience Abby Appliances and Mr. Sandoval provided was excellent and I'll definitely would welcome them both back to my house when future repairs are needed on my appliances.

If I could give zero stars I would. Not only did it take them weeks to service our microwave, they didn't even repair it after they took it "to the shop". Brought back a broken appliance and when I called the office, was treated with zero respect or sense of urgency. Even when they originally arrived at our house, the technicians had no idea what they were doing. I have called our home warranty company to never use them again. Buyer beware of this fruadulant business! I told them I would write a negative review and they said they could care less. We are in the Eagle Mountain Lake area .. I will also be posting on the Next Door App. Again, absolutely terrible company!

In response to this company's response: Ha! That is a flat out dishonest representation of the "service" you provided. We waited weeks for the part and were told you had to "run back to the shop because the part was left there". This was on Friday afternoon and by 7:30 PM Saturday we were told it would take several weeks for the parts?? We insisted our microwave be returned because we were promised delivery Saturday morning (which did not happen and furthermore, and I quote "we don't work the weekends and my guys should never have promised that"). We still ended up paying for your service even though you did nothing to fix the issue.

They did not do any type of diagnostic service....granted I told them what we had done and they said the drain pump needed to be replaced...they said they replace it and showed me one that was old...my washer now makes a horrible noise that my husband believes to be the "new" drain pump they put on. The person that they sent out to repair was noticeably sick...he coughed from the time he got here until the time he left. When I called about the noise and the sick employee the guy was unhelpful. Indicated the sick employee was the only person he had to send out. (the sick employee took a photo of the tag on my washer, his helper did all of the work replacing the part) I am so sorry that I called them and not a different appliance repair company.

At the beginning of the year, I contacted Abby Appliances about a gas oven that, when in use, made the surface of the stove-top abnormally hot.

When I scheduled the appointment over the phone for the tech to come to my home, I explained that I suspected the seal around the oven glass in the door had deteriorated and was allowing for heat to escape through the body of the oven. I stated I wanted a tech to come and give the oven a once-over and ensure that, aside from the seal, the oven was in proper working condition.

I reiterated this to the technician at the time of the appointment. I stated that I wanted to him to take his temperature gun and ensure that the oven was actually heating to the temperature the oven dial was being set to. This was of particular interest to me because, despite the fact the oven was currently letting heat escape due to a bad seal, food prepared in it was still often coming out burnt.

The technician, however, wasn't the easiest to communicate with. He checked the seal and concluded the same as I had; that it needed to be replaced to stop the overheating of the stove-top. He texted his office for a quote, and they texted back a quote of $225. ($165/$60 part... a part that I subsequently ordered online for approximately $27 and replaced myself; in full disclosure, they were willing to apply the $75 service call fee I was paying this day to the subsequent work if I completed it within 30 days.)

But, regarding the quote, I had questions. Questions the technician was either unable or unwilling to elaborate on himself because he simply called his office, told the receptionist I had questions and handed me his cell phone.

At this point at the in-home consultation, I was generally unimpressed with the work performed and was (rightly) not convinced it should be that expensive to replace an oven seal, so I told him I would think about it and be in touch.

But it wasn't until he had left that I realized that he didn't do all of what I had asked when I set the appointment - to give the oven a complete once-over and determine whether it was otherwise functioning correcting.

He didn't do *what I specifically asked of him when he arrived*, which was use the temperature gun he confirmed he had on him to ensure the oven was heating to the correct temperature.

So, ultimately, I paid Abby Appliances $75 to tell me what I already knew about my oven *and not tell me* how or why my oven is, still to this day, heating to a higher temperature than what the oven is set to.

If you're going to get overcharged for appliance repair, you should at least go with a company that will actually and thoroughly perform the requests for repairs you're seeking.

I went in for a dryer diagnostic and got a run around for 3 days and finally had to go pick it up and find somewhere else. I don't like leaving negative reviews but when you deserve one you get one. Update (next day) Got a call from Abby appliance today and was told that my diagnosis is ready. I told her how is that possible when i picked it up yesterday because you guys wantedme to wait anoter day before you could get to it. Well she told me, it was actually done and that my belt was broke on my dryer and that they can still replace it but they have to order it and it will take 2 weeks and cost $169 so I told her I will come in and pay the $20 but I don't want you guys to do the repairs. She said that was okay and I didn't need to pay the $20 so I said Thank you and hung up. I took it to another shop and come to find out the belt is not broken but falling off the motor pulley and they charge me $20 to put it back on. So it turns out that they were not just unorganized and slow when it comes to Diagnostics but they are also Crooks. I will spread the word. If you plan to work in a neighborhood where you expect the people in that neighborhood to be your customers then you do not do business like this because it will shut you down. RED SAMSUNG DRYER.

Great service! Had them come out to assess a broken washer. It was not worth the cost to fix, so got a new one from them. The owner is very nice and personable and the washer was VERY reasonably priced. They deliver and take unwanted machines away for you.

Same day service and install. I made my purchase over the phone, and they took care of everything in a professional manner. Would definitely recommend them to property managers, investors, Airbnb owners, and homeowners alike. Personal attention they give is very rare.
