Max fixed my refrigerator back in July 2023. He is very polite and was able to find and fix the issue (blocked drainage line that led to water accumulation inside). This save me money from buying a new one. My 11 old refrigerator has been working great without issue since. I highly recommend Max and would call him for future repair!

Good thing about them was that they were fast and could get to my home quickly.
Bad things 1) My appointment time was changed 3 different times. Including the day of when I received a 3rd phone call asking me to change to the next day. I explained someone told me, when I called because the tech (Max) only had one more hour before the appt window closed, the tech was on his way. The gentleman then apologized and said he was mistaken. 2) He quoted me almost $500 for a repair when the same oven new from a big box store was $458. The day before I requested a price on the part, from another company (switch) and he quoted more than double the price I received the day before. 3) I wanted him to look at another oven and showed him the picture of the problem. He flippantly said it was the same as mine. Then attempted to charge my for diagnosing the other stove. I asked him if he was serious because all he did was look at a picture. He said yes and called the office.
I ended up not using them to repair and would caution you to seek other quotes first.

I called because my washer was not draining, Artur was wonderful and installed a new pump. I paid $460 and the problem seemed to be resolved until a few weeks later when it occasionally wouldn't drain and then not at all! I called to have it assessed again because it was within the 90 day warranty.
I have been told 3 times this week a supervisor will call me to eastablish a refund but no one ever calls....
BUYER BEWARE, IF THEY CAN'T FIX YOUR PROBLEM AND WON'T REFUND YOU - IMMEDIATELY CALL THE BETTER BUSINESS BUREAU TO REPORT IT THEN CALL YOUR BANK TO RECOUP THE CHARGES. Artur is wonderful and very polite but the company appears to be a scam.

This appointment was made same day and I was ecstatic! Max arrived at 4:30 and spent 2 hours meticulously repairing my dryer. The heating element had gone out. Max is so professional. Work done so well and cleanup excellent. This is a small company that I would highly recommend and I will definitely use again should the need arise! Thank you APL and Max!

Our guy, Ruslan, was able to come by our home later on in the evening (my husband and I work long hours) and help us fix our dishwasher. He was very respectful and informative on how to fix what was wrong with the dishwasher. Highly recommend trusting these guys with your appliance needs 😊👍🏼

Your employee Artur came to my house today to check my oven, there was no solution for the repair but Mr. Artur when manipulating the oven and removing it from the base did this damage and claims that he did not do it, I do not have need to do damage to my house. Who fixes this damage for me?

I would not recommend them for “same day” service. This company stood me up at a crucial point in needing my dryer. They were supposed to come yesterday between 5-7. The technician called me at 9:00. When I explained via text that they were supposed to be there yesterday, I received no response or explanation. So I cannot speak to their appliance service but, in my opinion, the customer service deserves this rating.

The Tech Max was running late but was very courteous… he arrived and quickly assessed the repair and recommended the next course of action. His recommendation was very fair and was in the best interest of me the customer not an attempt to over sell a service. I would definitely recommend Max and APL and will use them for future repairs!

We had Max come out to fix a dead wine refrigerator and he was great. On time, explained what was wrong, gave us a fair price and fixed it promptly.
After he was finished I showed him an icemaker that was freezing up and he told and showed me what was happening. He came back a few days later with the part and fixed that as well.
Very happy with the job. Ask for Max when you call and you’ll get great service.

Ruslan came to fix our microwave. Great communication, took time to explain the whole process, very professional. He was able to fix it right there and took time to show my mom how to properly take care of it. Great service. At the end the part that broke it was plastic so he kinda melted the part to glue it back together. Don’t know if that counts as getting a new part, but it did fix the problem and the microwave has not giving any problems.

    We paid 260dlls

I’m not real sure where APL Appliance Repair is located but when I did a search for appliance repair near me they came up 2.9 miles, or 8 minutes away. A glance at their website shows Richmond TX but also serving numerous counties, including the one I reside in and the ones that surround me. I can only assume there are people scattered in various places that respond to you, or basically work from home, and Richmond TX is the HQ. Anyhow, I called to inquire on an appliance repair. Before I could ask anything, the female asked for my zip. She then said we don’t service that area. Keep in mind, 2.9 miles away, in a county they list. Also, I’m right smack in the middle of DFW. I said well the website says you serve Tarrant County. She asked for zip again. As she was looking I tried to advise of the listing 2.9 miles from me and she decided to just hang up on me. I wasn’t rude at all. She apparently just couldn’t answer my questions so I suppose hanging up was her answer. I am located in the same area on the map in the included picture. That close, yet they can’t help me. Hanging up is not the way to run a business, nor to get referrals. I gave it 2 stars because I’m hoping on her off days, someone else answers the phone and doesn’t hang up on people.

The technician, Max, was very knowledgeable and professional. He diagnosed the problem with my dishwasher quickly and provided a quote for the needed part and services. I have an older model so he did not have the part needed on hand. Therefore, the part needed had to be ordered. I was contacted in a couple of days with news of the part’s arrival and Max was dispatched and replaced the part, and adjusted the legs to level the unit.

If you want reliable service and a job well done, I strongly recommend this company.

On December 10, 2024, I scheduled a repair service with APL Appliance Repair for my laundry dryer. Your technician, Ismael, diagnosed a broken motor and recommended replacing it for $400, assuring me that the dryer would last another 10 years after the repair. However, when I received the invoice, the total was $520, which was $120 more than the initial quote. After some negotiation, we settled on $500.

Ismael ordered the motor and completed the repair on December 20, 2024. Unfortunately, less than two weeks later, the dryer began experiencing issues, including overheating on three occasions. While it initially restarted on its own, it has now stopped working entirely.

I contacted Ismael for a follow-up repair, and he scheduled an appointment for February 14, 2025, between 9–11 AM. I took half a day off from work to accommodate this, but he never showed up or communicated any updates. He only called me later in the afternoon when I was no longer available.

Since then, I have contacted APL Appliance Repair at least seven times, requesting a new technician to resolve this issue. Each time, I was told I would receive a callback to reschedule, but no one has followed up.

According to their limited warranty, parts are covered for 90 days, while labor is covered for 30 days. Since the repair was completed two months ago, I understand that I would typically be responsible for labor costs. However, given that the repair was ineffective and the same issue persists, I believe I have been misled and overcharged, and I do not agree to pay additional labor fees for a repair that should have been done correctly in the first place.

I expect a prompt resolution to this matter. Please respond as soon as possible with a plan to address this issue.

I appreciate your immediate attention to this.

I called APL Appliance repair because they said I could have same day or next day service for my 4 year old whirlpool washer- whirlpool wasn’t coming for a week!! I chose to pay more for quick service than pay less and wait a week. Ruslan showed up same day and gave us a price to fix it. He fixed the washer quickly although it took a couple of days for parts. He stuck by the price even though he had to fix a few extra things.
He was professional, responsive to my questions and texts, and was a man of his word. I will definitely use Ruslan again.

By the way, fixing it was cheaper than buying a new one. I checked because it turned out there were several things wrong with the washer. I was disappointed a Whirlpool washer needed repairs so quickly. However Ruslan took care of it.

Max repaired my washing machine. It was still a little off, so he came back, tweaked a few things and now my 8 year old washer works like new.

Very professional and explained everything that was needed and everything that was done to complete the repairs. Thank You Max

Amazing service! Needed a second opinion on if our oven was heating properly. They sent a technician the same day who did multiple tests with high quality equipment to verify if oven was functioning as needed. Very affordable too!
Highly recommended their services for all appliance needs!

They were very helpful to get a repair tech to us same day. Had to order a new part to complete repair to put washing machine. Service tech Rukhulla was easy to work with. Returned on the day promised with new part and completed repairs in a timely fashion. Cleaned up the area after repair completed. Highly recommend.

Very poor service. Tech didn't even open machine at all to try and diagnose the problem. Just looked up the codes on his phone and then tells me the transmission needs to be replaced in my machine for about $600.00. Then proceeds to question me about my dryer, mind you I didn't call in for service on my dryer. He then tells me he does work on the side outside the company to be sure and save his number for any repairs direct. I bring a senior citizen don't have money to give away on a fixed income. $75.00 paid and he wasn't here ten minutes. Waste of money.
Will never call this company again.
Should have known when I called their office to setup appointment and the women that answered sounded asleep.
Update:07/15/25 after receiving three harassing phone calls from the technician that came to house yesterday, who didn't check my machine and said it was the transmission causing error messages. I called another company who came out and replaced the shocks on my machine and it is working just like new. The technician from yesterday said he was refunding my money, but of course that was a lie.
    Don't use this company.
    Scammers !!! Incompetent employees.
Wish I paid with a credit card instead of Zelle, I would have been able to get my money back or wrote a check and been able to put a stop payment on it.

They came to check out my cook top and give me an estimate. I decided to go ahead with the repair. They said someone would call me to set up an appointment. I’ve called multiple times, but no one has called back yet. It’s been a few days now, and I’m still waiting. I just waisted $75

I have mixed reviews about the service, so I'll start with the good, then the not so good and then whatever else comes after that.

    The Facts:
I purchase the LG Wm4500hba washer in May of 2022. It suddenly stopped working one afternoon and kept displaying an LE error code. I researched the issue and my husband and I found videos and instructions to "fix" the issue. We ordered the parts and followed the instructions but unfortunately and very frustratingly, this is the ONE LG model that does not have an easy and affordable fix - it has to be fixed by a professional. I with through the motions with LG and in the end, they gave me a quote of $399.00 + tax for the fix since I did not have a warranty with them. I decided to look for someone else to fix in the hopes of saving myself some money which led me to call APL Appliance Repair.

    The Good:
I called at 1 PM on Monday and was offered same day service. I was informed that there would be an $89 service fee that would be applied to the total cost of the service. I agreed and the appointment was scheduled immediately and the tech was set to arrive between a 4 - 6 PM time window. At around 2:30, the tech called and asked if he could arrive earlier - at 3:30 PM - and I said yes. At about 3:00 PM a storm passed through and knocked out my power. After waiting for 10 mins, I called the company to inform them that I was without power and needed to reschedule my service. I was rescheduled to the next day for a 10:00 AM.

    The Not So Good:
At around 3:45 PM, the tech arrived to my home, even though I rescheduled my appointment to the next day - good thing Center Point restored my power at about 3:35 PM. I figured it was blessing in disguise because I have been without my washer for so long (about 4 weeks) and I really just wanted it back working. My husband let him in, showed him to the laundry room and when I explained the issue, the error code and the troubleshooting we already did, he took a few minutes and gave a quote of nearly $700. I was flabbergasted because I thought the price would be lower than what LG quoted me. When I told the tech that, he assumed and was adamant that I had a warranty with LG and after explaining 3 times that I didn’t, he then showed me the cost of the parts he stated would be needed, which was over $200 each and the labor would be over $200. In the end, I decided not to move forward with them and paid the $89 service fee for the tech coming out.

    The Rest:
The next morning, I received a reminder text for my rescheduled appointment. I called them to cancel and informed them why.

I want to also mention that the tech suggested to my husband that we just get a new washer, which I'm not interested in because we've only had the washer for 3 years, it's just the 2 of us using the machine and we paid so much money for it.

In the end, I was happy with how quick they were to respond and was happy that wanted to send someone out so quickly but I'm disappointed that the tech wasn't really listening to me, the amount that they tried to charge me and the fact that I had to pay a service fee for a service that was not done. I will not reach out to them for any future needs that I may have.
