I wanted to share my amazing experience. I needed to change the built-in refrigerator. I called the APL company. Two masters, Misha and Maxim, came and spent 6 hours with absolutely reasonable money. They installed my refrigerator professionally. Thank them very much!

Charged me $120 for a "diagnostic" fee and told me I needed to spend $1500 to replace the fan, thermostat and defroster and then left. Never tested anything because it was frozen over. I let it thaw for 24hrs and plugged it back in and it has been working now for 2 weeks no problems. The tech was also two hours later than he was supposed to be and didn't seem very knowledgeable

I'd give a minus star but I can't. Two techs (and I use that term loosely.) came and looked at my dishwasher. They told me the cost and said they'd be back in 4-5 days. NOW APL is dodging my calls and the tech doesn't answer 2 weeks later. That's a $200 scam. NEVER USE them!!!
These scammers have promised to refund my money 4 times. They have yet to deliver the cash but they cashed my check fast enough. Liars. They delivered a refund check and then put a stop payment on it. Needless to say, BEWARE OF CROOKS LIKE THIS.

Terrible service. A tech came out and said we needed freon and we would come back the next day to put it in. He was 2 hours late and lied to us and said he put freon in the fridge when he did not.
We found out he did not by having an LG tech come look at it because it still was not working, and he confirmed that no freon was put in the fridge. I called the company to complain and talk to the manager and all they said was they would send the technician out. I told them no please do not send a liar out here. I ended calling my credit card and disputing the charge. Never again, do not use this company they have unreliable technician. They will lie to you and steal your money.

Ruslan from Ukraine was SO helpful! Will definitely be keeping his number. He fixed multiple problems with my washer, and found a part I needed for dishwasher as well. Very respectful and very knowledgeable.

Very happy with the service. Mikhail is very knowledgeable and arrived on time. He resolved the issue very quickly and provided the cheapest option. His pricing is very reasonable and service is great. Will definitely consider APL Appliance Repair for any future appliance repairs. Great customer service!

Ruslan did a first rate job on my very old Jenn-Aire cooktop. He replaced all the necessary parts and saved us a significant amount of money rather than replacing the cooktop which is no longer made and would have been a very big deal to replace.

Ruslan was very efficient and thorough with repairing our washing machine that seemed to be off balance. We had broken suspension parts on the washer. He also showed us how to drain the main pump.

Ruslan is the BEST. My refrigerator wasn’t cooling and he had it working again in no time. He’s so nice and works fast! I will be calling him again when something breaks. Excellent service!

The start button of microwave isn't working. The technician came, opened the microwave, told us that the control board ( i forgot what he called it ) needs to be replaced. The cost of buying the parts and labor is almost the same as buying a new one which will cost 500. He didn't even used a tester to check it, took a picture put it back, that's it. He also didn't put the board properly, the screen is not aligned. Charged us 75 dollars for opening the microwave, and telling us the board is not working. Of course it is coz that is where the start button is located!

Update: We were able to start the microwave yesterday. Like what I told the technician, sometimes its starts sometimes it doesn’t. We ended up buying a microwave. Reading the reviews here makes me believe that this company is not good, unless the technician is fraud!

How can a highly trained technician did not even use a multi tester before diagnosing the problem, just his visuals. He said the board was burnt, how come we were able to use it the next day. I should have used my credit card so I can file fraud.

Max came same evening. To fix my refrigerator. He was great and knows what he is doing. Fixed the problem efficiently and was fair with pricing. He was one of the best. Repair people I have ever had. I would hope if something else needs fixing He can do it.

Terrible! From the customer service with Gia, to the technician Ruslan! I definitely believe this is a scam company! Tech shows up in a minivan! Couldn't provide license number! Gia customer service sounds like she's at home running a daycare! I could not hear her clearly and she starts yelling! Ruslan was very argumentative! Very unprofessional! Ruslan was at my home 5 minutes and diagnosed my washer has a bad transmission and it would costs $700 to repair! Just terrible! Please don't give these people your hard earned money! Please find a legit company!

I needed someone to come same day because i had a wet load of laundry in the washer, and the door was locked. APL stepped right up. Max was great. Called ahead and arrived on time. Gave us a clear estimate on our washer repair and time estimate. We're still deciding on whether to repair or replace, but would definitely call them again.

I’m not happy with your Service at all . I have a feeling the Gentleman didn’t know what he was doing . Then he told me the repair would be 875.00 dollars which is outrageous, specially for someone that doesn’t know what he is looking at.

I had a remarkably wonderful experience with APL’s service technician, Ruslan, today. After researching appliances to replace my malfunctioning 60 year old Waste King Universal oven and stove top which would require changing the amperage on my 60 year old circuit breaker box, I decided to look into having my old appliances repaired. I called APL about 1:30 today, (Friday) and was pleasantly surprised to have my call immediately answered by a client service person who promised to send out a technician this afternoon. In less than 3 hours, Ruslan was at my doorstep. He was refreshingly polite, very personable and incredibly knowledgeable. What really impressed me was his perseverance and determination to repair my old oven and stovetop. He saw their age as a special challenge and assured me he could bring them back to full functionality that would last several more decades. He put together a new thermostat that brought my broiler element back to life for the first time in 30 years. I was thrilled. He spent several very focused hours determining what he needed to make all of my stovetop burners work and what other parts he needed for the oven. We are talking 60 year old appliances and Ruslan networking like crazy to find parts for them. He is returning tomorrow with the necessary parts to finish his work. It has been a real pleasure to have someone of Ruslan’s work ethic, commitment, resolve and pride in doing the best job possible to bring my cranky yet oldie but goodie stovetop and oven back to functionality. Ruslan is prompt, efficient, and professional. My Samsung refrigerator/freezer was a hot mess. My food was spoiling quickly. My refrigerator had a ice wall in the rear, plus rust. Ruslan removed all the food. He defrosted, steam cleaned, and wiped dry the interior. He replaced heating elements and sensors. He returned my appliance ensuring both exterior vents had proper circulation. His working area was cleaned up and all tools were removed prior to him requesting payment. He gave me a military discount because I am a veteran.

I called them for installation, the woman on the phone was from different company, she did not discussed procedure correctly, I kept asking how much will be total money, she still gave me price range. Then, two guys came for this company and doubled the rate which was discussed on phone, I rejected the price, they started arguing for service fee which was never discussed, and said they will not leave my home unless I pay them, they threatened us like goons to call to collector. I said I will talk with manager and pay online, still they were no ready to leave home, I had to pay them for no work. But if someone knows how to report this company please do it. NEVER HIRE THEM.

I have given Max over a week to follow up with me in regard to the rattling refrigerator I have now because of him. The reason I called LG who sent them to me was because the refrigerator was over frosting with ice. My only question was what should the temp be. Avoided my question when he was here. Took my entire refrigerator apart from doors and said everything is good. I said again what should the temp be then I am told. Few days later the refrigerator starts rattling did not do that before he came. I called once said send me address so I can pull ticket. Address sent no response. Wait a week send text, the text is read no response, but had no problem taking my money which I was told I would only pay if they fixed something. That’s a joke, because honestly you didn’t fix anything and what you acted like you were doing has messed up my refrigerator. Find you someone honest that will do the work honestly and not cheat you. There are honest companies out there, but it is for sure not API.

Guy came had no idea what he was even doing spent 30 minutes looking for the part number on the ice maker then said it would cost 1500$ to replace when the two other times we have had it done from a company now closed it was 400$ as the part is 250$ and is a simple repair. The man then got upset when he was told to leave and got confrontational in my own home. He continued agruing even when I stated he needed to leave my house now. I’ve now already called and scheduled someone else to come Tuesday and do it for 400$. Bunch of scammers that don’t know anything other than screw over people

I am so happy with this company. I had a very bad leak in my refrigerator. It was so bad that it was running onto the floor and warping the wood. I called this company and the guy on the phone took my information, put me on hold for 1 minute and said he could have some one at my house in an hour. So the technician, arrived on time and my refrigerator was fixed! They were polite and efficient and I couldn’t be happier with the service I received. I would definitely recommend them !
