HVAC reviews in Fort Worth, Texas

I’m a small business owner who was seeking commercial HVAC services. Not needing emergency services, I called to schedule preventative maintenance and even set up a routine service with them as we head into the summer months in Texas. Confirmed appointment times, dates, etc.- no tech ever arrived. I waited to hear from the company for a reason why no one came to the appointment, still haven’t heard a thing and that was 9 days ago. In that 9 days, I’ve called three times and emailed as well. Come to find out they don’t answer the phones at the actual office- they have an answering service. I’m okay with that because the last business I owned used a similar service, BUT they’re not returning their calls or messages about a missed appointment.

I’m sure they’re great at what they do, but no-showing and then not responding is unacceptable.

Update 1 day after post. David, the owner reached out to profusely apologize and offer rescheduling for service and even a free tune-up. It means the world to even hear back at this point. While I won’t be a customer, the customer service response from the owner let me understand what happened and his commitment to his customers as the final answer is something he stands by and proves.

We gave used Thompson's for several years now. They are always professional and punctual and don’t try to up sell anything. They are honest about what is needed and what is not. We highly recommend David and his team.

,e have watched Thompson's very closely as they did the install on all of the HVAC on the Legacy Baptist Church expansion. They were always very professional, ahead of schedule, quality craftsmanship and good value. David Thompson is a man of integrity which goes above and beyond what is asked.

They took care of us EVERY time we had a need, which wasn't much because of their excellent knowledge and work ethics. We were sad to learn that Thompson's went commercial, but they gave us a comparable referral for our home's HVAC which made the transition painless. After a decade, we still use the same company they referred us to. We miss Thompson's and are thankful we crossed paths!!

David and his team have been taking care of my heating and cooling needs for quite a while now. He totally replaced my first unit air ducts and all and had me up and cool in no time. I moved and he's replaced my current system too and equally fast with fantastic staff. If you want it done right, on time and want reliability in this Texas heat---call this guy!

Thompson's has been our "go to" HVAC company for well over 12 years. In addition to their expertise, they've always been honest, conscientious, responsible, informative, etc, in their dealings with us (in support of their Christian morals). We appreciate dealing with a company of their caliber.

Many years ago my heat quit. I found what I thought was wrong and changes a part. Still didn’t work. I called David. He came, located the problem, and fixed it. Cool BUT it was the way he fixed it. It was open when he arrived. We went to Home Depot and got the part, cheaper than him driving home to get the part. Lastly, he asked, if I wanted to close it up. Again cheaper. I’ve never forgotten.

Another time, his company fixed a problem with my air conditioning. Price was reasonable air worked great. End of story? No! Weeks late I got a check for $10. They had mistakenly over charged me. How many companies would do that? David Thompson would! Great man, great family, great company!

Twice David has came to fix my heater. Has both times done an amazing job, he is honest and explained everything to me thoroughly. Will definitely call him again if an issue ever comes up and would recommend him 100%!!!!!

I love this company. They are very respectful, honoring, and professional. They are also honest. They came in after my a/c when out and believed that a control board was the problem. After testing it was some wiring in the inside of the house and they fixed it. They left and never charged me a dime for it. Side note it is worth the money I pay for the club membership. With that membership they come out twice a year to do maintenance and if some does happen it's like half the cost. I love these guys.

Dave personally installed our Daikin unit over two years ago. He did an outstanding job and was quick to respond when a drain inadvertently became clogged last year, fixing the issue post haste.
I highly recommend Thompson's for their professionalism and superior customer service.

David Thompson, Owner who also does the Air-Conditioning / Heating and also Torrey, his associate are extremely professional, they know exactly what they are doing when working on or replacing any unit or system.
They go above and beyond to be sure everything is done correctly. They are extremely intelligent and take time to explain what they will do, fair in price (the work they do and any money spent is well worth it) they are extremely honest. I can say again, they seriously go above and beyond on their work and very professional. I would absolutely recommend them to anyone. If I could give more than 5 stars I would. Thank you so much for the work you both did to replace the air conditioning, big unit in the garage and new thermostat that goes along with it - our home is already getting so nice and cool inside and the air feels so clean. I know if I turn the thermostat down it will get super cold - this works beautifully!!!

God bless you both and your families - thank you for going above and beyond with your work. Even to the point of repairing an item that didn't even go along with the air-conditioning work but you fixed it.

I was selling my home and needed work done on my AC unit. David Thompson came right out and fixed my air conditioner. I had cold air again and was able to receive more bids on my home!
