For over 50 years, Sears has always been a part of our lives. From products to service until now. unsatisfied with the completed project scheduled one week started 10/18/17, completed 11/24/17. Thanksgiving ruined, family separated eating at other homes at last minute.

The old Sears location at Town East mall is permanently closed. A sign on the door which was the catalog pickup area, says "Closed. Thanks for the great 50 years".

We had windows installed by sears. The workers arrived on time, were polite, explained things clearly, and checked to make sure everything was good before they left.

There were many delays and work by the first crew was terrible ,6 weeks and a different crew later ,the job was finished. But this was supposed to only take 3 to 4 days. Now I get to deal with the messy work they did on the first floor of my home which was not on the contract to do by the first crew they sent.It has been an Unbelievable nightmare!!!

Horrible scheduling and communication. Took off two different days for them to no call/No show both times. Then when they did call two weeks later, I had to leave work and had 2hours to get home to make the window of time to keep from being rescheduled. Then they damaged the interior on home.HORRIBLE ALL AROUND.

I am very please with the entire process from the beginning to the end. The salesperson was knowledgeable and returned all my emails and phone calls. The installers were very professional and left everything clean.

This place doesn't deserve NO start .
But i rather you folks know what type of service they have .
They never aswere the phone if so they ask what you need? and put you on hold forever until the auto machine ends your call. But if you are extremely lucky you will just hear the auto machine go on and end your call. And just like that all your answer and concerns have been answer.
Best bet is if you call the Richardson or mesquite location and belive me they are awesome !! And Answer all your questions in a flash. -
I've used Sears for years and they still live up to my expectations. Excellent service, timing, communication, thoroughness and professionalism. I would recommend them.

I am very pleased with the service on today, these guys came out and installed my AC unit within 5 hours or less cleanup behind themselves and most of all explained to me about the AC I purchased. I will used them again.

Nice people, but gave us impression it would be completed in 3 days. Not so. Took about 3 weeks from beginning to end. Also seemed expensive compare to a job we had done about 2 years ago. Did nice work with finished product though.

I would give them a negative 100 if I could. I was given estimate of $385.00cost for a lennex blower relay installation on an air handler. The estimated labor was $335.56 to install something that takes 5 mins to do. The estimated cost of the blower relay was $50 for an item that you can get off the internet for $20 brand new.

Terribly disappointed with this company. Less than 2 weeks we can NEVER get anyone from Sears to return our many phone calls/ voicemails regarding our AC is out. This is the second service request we have put in within 2 weeks! Why would we shell out 5k for no air when we could have saved 5k and been in the same boat. Our house is reaching temps in the 80s in Dallas and the weather is only getting warmer. Sears contract's another company who takes days to return our phone calls as well. The initial sales pitch Sears made it feel like we went with the right company. Do not recommend! AJ Latham or Mike Lambert please give us a call back!!

* Salesman was knowledgeable and friendly. Installation crew polite, friendly, quick, and took care to keep floors clean. Previously used them for window replacement. Definitely recommend them.

Siding - Great team: no pressure sales; answered questions promptly; excellent installation, attention to detail, sent me pictures to keep me informed. I feel like I have a brand new house since it actually looks better than it did the day I purchased it!!

Sears windows were not the best quality window I considered, however the price was affordable and window quality was very good. The sale home rep was informative, attentative and considerate. After the installation was completed, I was highly satisfied with the workmanship, looks and attributes of the windows. The windows cut the west afternoon sun's heat undetectible. The new picture windows in our living room are a delight, being able to see a panaromic view of our place and with excellent clarity. If you want good windows at a reasonable cost, a big cut above lowes and home depot windows I recomend Sears window product. Of Course that depends on the window selected.

It would've been a 5 star rating. But they tore sheet rock paper inside of windows not in just one window but several windows. Didn't fix it. Didn't take blind brackets down. They chalked around them. They really look bad. Not a professional job that I was exspecting from Sears.

Initially, my experience was one of those you never want to go through. Their office was going through some reorganizing which compounded my frustration. However, Ron stepped in and made things happen, resolving all the bad workmanship from the original installer. He sent a guy, Damien, who is extremely meticulous and treats each job as if it were his own. I can't thank them enough! All in all, the job is great. A bit high in price, but that is on me for not researching prices better before signing a contract.

Great service, and the new roof looks fantastic! Mike Snow -our Sears consultant, did an excellent job explaining everything, and helping us to make the best choices for our home. The roofing crew did a great job on the roof and cleanup, -thanks Chris!

Sales personnel very professional. Installers were polite and generally competent however took shortcuts and there are issues with the installation. The new condenser pad was placed over the existing smaller pad. The system is not stable. The suction line is partially crimped where it exits the home (definitely not good). Flushing refrigerant lines was not done properly when cleaning lines used for R-22 when the new system is R-410. I have a long line set and the technicians didn't even connect a manifold gauge after installation to ensure proper charge. Mfg recommends additional refrigerant added for lengthy line sets. System does cool but no better than the old system. I'm curious to see my first utility bill since the install.

We purchased a NEW IN BOX $2500 refrigerator only to have it leaking as soon as it was installed on 5/21/2020. I have called the warranty line over and over only to wait 20 minutes on hold each time, sometimes speaking to someone unqualified that gives me incorrect information, and have me run around calling the store I purchased it from, being transferred to customer service and then back to technical support to find out a service tech needed to come out. The service tech was from a third party and came out 2 weeks ago, about 1 week and a half after purchase to diagnose the issue. He barely looked at it and stated that Kenmores have LG parts and are known to have an issue. He ordered the parts. They scheduled a service for 06/15/2020 (Monday) between 8am - 5pm. I took the DAY OFF and no one ever showed up. I called at 4PM, left a voicemail and no one ever called back. Wednesday they called to schedule the appointment for today 6/19/2020. They didn't even apologize for completely not showing up on Monday and we had to bring it to their attention. I understand, it wasnt the third parties issue, they said that Sears double booked them. Anyway, the same tech guy came out, changed out the main valve and door valve on the new fridge and left. IT IS STILL LEAKING! I called Service warranty to have them come back out, waited ANOTHER 18 minutes, phone was answered and then disconnected! That is why I decided to write this review, they are unprofessional, and keep giving you the run around! I am currently on hold and it has been 24 minutes. I just want my fridge working you guys. I have been nice on the phone every time and I will continue to be nice to the customer service agent because I know it is not their fault. But for the previous person to answer and hang up is totally unprofessional and inconsiderate of my time. If possible, I will most likely need to schedule service tech to come back out and re-diagnose. It has been almost 1 month since the fridge has been installed, and we have yet to use the ice dispenser because of this major leak. I know, not a big deal, but when you pay $2500 and its your first home purchase, you would like for things to work nice. We were willing to have it fixed and move on with our lives. NEVER BUYING KENMORE AGAIN. I had NO idea that they were this bad!

I had a bad experience with the Window installation crew that came and replaced my Windows, they were not comfortable with me looking as they work and/or asking questions. Some used bad language in my presence. As you can imagine removing old widows could make some damage they would not take responsibility for anything. It seems the crew was worried about completing the job on time rather than doing a good job. Application of the Caulk around the new windows was sloppy at some points. Some old wood in two widows was damaged during installation Sears will not take responsibility for that so far.
