In repairing my vinyl siding on my rental they were fast and in the end it looked great. The only complaints I had is on the way to the house I called and called again to confirm the contractor was still going to make it it took about 2hrs to get a reply and the contractor did not bring the paperwork with him so we had to wait around an extra 30 min for him to go get it and bring it back for me to sign.

I'll start with the good - the quality of the installation is good. The bad relates to service and scheduling. First, the siding crew shows up at my house without being scheduled - of course I was out of town! The guy who was supposed to install the garage doors never showed up and never called - 3 times!!! I called the sales rep (project manager) and he said he'd check into it and call me back - he never did. A very frustrating experience. If I had to do it over again, I'd pick a different company to do the work. BUYER BEWARE!

The installation process really disappointed me. I request a Pro installer and they send a crew that from the beginning they could not find how my roof section on my sun-room connected with the other section of the house. They installed both units and the expected result of a new 5 ton AC unit for a house that can be run with a 4 ton unit were disappointing. Contact the installer the revised the job and found a leak at the duct section behind the unit they installed. Besides that they now find out that the two units were installed to closed to each other and now they need to redo it adding other parts and they are trying to convince me to allow them to remove a metal duct section for them to add a flex one and make it easy on them. I have call them few times and they promise to call back and still waiting. Sears is using contractors to perform the installations and some of them may be good but you can get stuck with bad ones as well. I work in the past for Sears and I have always been a loyal customer but now I'm thinking and re-thinking about it. A real bad experience on a very expensive project that is changing my loyalty as a customer to Sears. so sad..still fighting this.

This entire process of getting my a/c and windows installed has been a very frustrating experience. I have been hung up on, transferred and placed on hold more times than i can count. On top of all of this Sears miraculously lost my order, which royally made me angry. Their promise of sears shop your way points and carrier cool cash is a total scam. No one knows anything about this and will constant transfer you until you end up giving up. Also, their automated system is the worst I have ever experienced in my life.

This was a horrible experience!! Our start date was rescheduled 2 times. The contractor knew little about installation, we had to ask them to start over 6 times! At the end we cannot get Sears to come and make right the problems we've found that expose our home to the elements. I have written emails and after 2 weeks there has been no date scheduled to complete the job. I wish I could post pictures to show the incompetentcy!!

We had a whole house full of Windows Installed....The experience from the start was outstanding....The Salesman did a fantastic job explaining everything we were to expect and receive down to the letter.
The installers; Peter, Anthony & Chris were great. They did their job in a professional manner, cleaned up afterwards both inside and out. Could not ask for anything better....Thanks to All. Candi & Dan Love -
The windows I bought were near top-of-the-line, as expected. We paid a premium price for what we thought would be a great installation experience. Then a 'crew' of ONLY one person showed up to to my '1-day' window upgrade job. Numerous calls up the sales-rep and supervisor line got lots of talk, but no help. My 'one-guy' did a near excellent job on the windows. But it took three days to finish. Two small issues that we could not resolve were due to the sales team not understanding the installation process.
However, the non-existant 'help' that I received from the installation coordinator and the area supervisor means that I WILL NOT recommend SEARS (or is it now K-Mart) for this kind of work. -
I rate Sears Home Services a -5. I made an appointment and waited 4 hours and no one called or showed up. When I called the 1-800 number I was told that they had to call the dispatch to find out why no one had showed up. After being on the phone for 10 minutes and getting no where they told me that the repairman would give me a call. Less than 2 minutes later, he calls says he's on his way. I ask why so long and why hadn't he called. He laughed and said he was busy. 4 hours I waited and when I finally hear something the repair laughs. Not good Customer Sears Home Services will never be called by me ever again for any type of repair service. Good thing that I didn't purchase the Fridgdaire ovens from Sears.

Patrick the salesman was great working with during the sale and followed up after the scheduling department they didn't know where that was coming or going . Jeremy the installer him and his crew were great very informative and did a great job did not have one window and one was wrong but that was not their fault put them on backorder took 2 1/2 weeks to get the window finally after three weeks. Jeremy got to finally come out and installed it during the three-week process just to get The window they should I had in the first place. They change management they really got messed up didn't know weather they were coming and going hard to get anything out of them. Their communication in the office really sucks and I'm still having problems with the office not call me back supposed to be setting up the final inspection from the city no one can tell me anything about that have yet to call me back within the last three days they just don't seem to know what the hell their doing but that's all on them now.

BEWARE: I have had a HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE with the replacement of the front and back doors. The doors were initially installed incorrectly, causing the doors to be scratched as they opened and closed. The glass on the front storm door was literally falling out due to a stripped screw. What was promised at the sale was not delivered. In fact, I was chastised for having my own locks placed onto the doors. They placed painted molding around the front, outside door when I was promised that it would be a color-based metal which would not scratch. I was chastised again for challenging them on this aspect. I even invited the project manager to come and see the job, but he was too busy to take the time to see the shoddy work. He told me that he had a family and that time was more important than my satisfaction. The initial person who sold me the doors no longer returns text messages. He was extremely attentive to my questions and concerns when he was making the sale. In the original installation, they brought the wrong caulking, and the molding was not ordered correctly. This will be the fourth time that Sears has come out to work on the doors, always seeming to forget something. Furthermore, they charged my credit card without completing the job. A rating of 1 is too high for this shoddy work. The people have been uncooperative and deceiving. I expected more from Sears. They have lost mine and my family's business. BEWARE!!!

The workman who replaced siding did good work as did the gutter installers my horrible experience started with the salesman and continued through the project coordinator. First the salesman did pressure me to sign immediately not allowing me to collect other bids...I gave in because he said the process would be expertly managed/best product/and great service. That if I shopped around I would find a cheaper price but I would not have the service of Sears. Nothing could have been further from the truth. The project coordinator called me and understood that the one thing I was requesting was to be informed before they were to start the jobs I could walk the crew around my house and show them each little area of concern- I have an 1940's home and well it is a little odd. One day I showed up after work to find my house tore up. The only phone number I had was my salesman- I shared how livid I was and how this was not the service he promised- when I tried to contact him again to discuss he hung up on me. The next day I waited for the crew to show up and they had been told that they were only supposed to do one quarter of the work contracted. The project coordinator clearly did not even read the scope of work on my job. When I told the crew what I was paying they were flabbergasted and knew then that the project coordinator had clearly not even bothered to look at what I had been sold. I was over charged, there were significant delays because the crew kept having to go back to get more materials because they were not told what the job entailed and materials were not properly allocated to do the full scope of work. Basically, I would never use them again, I will never again fall for the in home high pressure sales job, never trust the "excellent service" of Sears hopefully the actual work was good and will last and I will not have to look into the "amazing warrantee" promised. If it is anything like everything else the salesman promised it will be horrible too.
