We were sold a very expensive system after being told it was the best fit for our needs and that the company would handle annual maintenance. Once maintenance was due, we learned it requires a special kit that’s only sold to authorized dealers — not individual homeowners. When I reached out to Aircons for help, the office manager, Melissa, told me to buy the kit myself. I explained it wasn’t available to consumers, and she sent me another link — same issue. I then asked if they could purchase the kit before coming out to do the maintenance, but after following up, I never heard back.

To make matters worse, other companies I’ve contacted don’t even work with this type of system, so we’re now left trying to find a solution ourselves. It honestly makes me wonder if we were sold a system that isn’t really meant for consumers at all — and I’m not sure the experts who installed it even understood the maintenance requirements themselves. They upsold us, promised full support, and then completely left us hanging.
