Great experience with the technician. Smooth fix on my whirlpool fridge
-
Professional and efficient customer service. I would definitely recommend their services. They also have quick call backs and personable agents.
-
Worst experience EVER. Please call anyone else for your own sake. No skill, missed appt, overpriced, unresponsive just as starters.

This place is a scam!!! Be careful. They took my Ice maker in January and I never got it back. No answers, no nothing.
-
Appointment made one month in advance. I called day of appt to confirm and was assured of the confirmed time window and 30 minute pre-arrival call. Window came and went and absolutely NO CALL NO SHOW! Unbelievably unprofessional! Don’t waste your time.

Gave a time to show up between 12 and 3pm. Never showed. Then when I called she told me she would call me back in 10 minutes. 2 hours later still no call. So I called and was put on hold for 20 mins. No one ever called or showed up. Terrible service. Terrible company!

Called for same day service on Saturday morning; no one was available until Monday. Come Monday we received no calls/texts/emails and no one showed up. Called them and they couldnt get ahold of the technician that was supposed to come; said they would find out and call back. They never called back so we called and no one answered. No one ever showed up or called the next day either. Waste of time.

I didn't go through my repairing plan. I preferred to buy new ones instead.
However the communication I had with the lady who responded my call was GREAT.
The information she gave me was crystal clear, no ambiguity what so ever.
Thank you -
I will not recommend it to anyone because it would be a pity. the technician they sent me was an educated boy but apparently he did not know how to fix my fridge. I paid $ 556 dollars and the fridge remained the same. Besides, he went twice with the wrong parts. I am still waiting for the problem to be solved or for my money to be returned. Not answered at all.

SCAM!!! Do not use these people. Technician Luis is not qualified to diagnose an issue. I thought it was shady he doesn't list his last name (only initial) no address on business card and generic name..."Appliance Repair Service". Now I know why. They clearly have every intention to scam people by taking such measures to conceal who they are. Thankfully, my CC company knows who they are.

Due to a lack of communication from a lady by the name of Miriam I had a real bad experience. The reason for using this company was to save the tax of my part...10 Bucs. This lady was very rude and unapologetic. What really set me off was the fact that she said she would call me back and never did. So after 40 minutes I finally had to call her. Im not going to spend my only day off of work waiting for a phone call! HER EXCUSE was she could not get through to the call center, just say you forgot about me because you were busy....don't lie to me. A few more words were said from both of us, I gave her some career advise then hung up. In this particular situation I should of waited until Monday, called Reliable Parts myself, and paid the extra 10 Bucs. I will not be dealing with this company in the near future. You guys might have better luck!

I never write reviews and wish I had read the Google reviews for this company before using them. In case anyone else out there is reading this while trying to decide to whether or not to call them, don't. Here's why:
1) Our refrigerator went out, so we called this company. While the fridge didn't cool at all, the freezer was still keeping ice frozen (but not ice cream). A tech came out and said our fan was frozen and that defrosting it would be a temporary fix, but that it would happen again over time if we did not buy $800 worth of parts. Since he told us it would work for a while, we decided to mull it over since we weren't sure if we should put $800 into an older fridge or buy a new one.
2) When the tech left, our fridge wasn't cold at all, but neither was our freezer anymore. We figured it might take some time to start working again since the doors had been open for repair. When we woke up the next day and it still wasn't working, I tried to call this company. I called twice. The second time, I was put on hold for 10 minutes and when the lady came back on, she told me the tech would call me. He never called.
3) The day after that, I tried calling again. SEVERAL TIMES. I don't know if they saw my number or what because I called FIVE times before they actually answered. This time, the lady told me that she was busy and would call me right back. She called back 30 minutes later.
4) When I talked to her, she said that she talked to the tech and that he actually didn't fix our fridge at all (even though he explicitly told us it would work) and that he just defrosted it a little bit and that it could possibly work if we wanted to defrost it more ourselves. Seriously? I realize that we didn't get the parts yet, so the fridge wouldn't last forever, but it NEVER got cold again. Do you think that I want to stand there with a blowdryer and defrost my own fridge after I already paid for the $75 SERVICE fee?? More so, he TOLD us it would work. We would have likely just bought the parts if we had known it wouldn't work at all or that there was even a possibility that wouldn't work.
5) The tech told us we had two weeks to decide on parts if we wanted the service fee to be applied towards the parts/labor fee. When I spoke to the lady in the office, she said we had 30 days. So the tech mislead us? Again?
6) They were not apologetic AT ALL and tried to make it seem like it was our fault. They didn't seem like they cared at all to fix the situation. So here I am, calling another company. I don't even care if we lose the $75 service fee if we end up needing parts, I will not use this company again.
7) They try to come off as a local, family owned company, but as a person who has grown up in a family business, this is not how you treat customers at all. -
One star is too much! Contacted ASC to repair lower oven that was not heating to temperature. Tech ordered part. At later date, he installed heating element, still did not reach temperature. In putting oven back together, he incorrectly wired connection, short circuiting motherboard. Now have no lower oven and motherboard is no longer available. To add insult to our defunct lower oven, ASC charged my credit card for around $600. This occurred through numerous appointments, many no shows or hours later. Avoid this company.

The first appt for my broken ice maker in my refrigerator was scheduled for 6:00 pm. But no call or text until 8:35 pm from Miriam stating there was a typo in my phone number and asked if we could re-schedule the following day. So we did. The repairman, Andre, called about 10 minutes before his arrival which was fine with me. He immediately determined that the ice maker was not broken, but that it was the water valve. He had the part on the truck and installed it in about 20 minutes. I don’t know for sure, but I feel the charge was probably comparable to other appliance companies. Andre was very professional and my ice maker is working again. I would recommend this company for home service for sure.

Danny with Appliance Service has repaired our sub zero freezer and our under the counter bar ice maker after other repair professionals couldn't. He took the time to understand the problems and was thoughtful about how he approached the repairs. The ice maker was a challenge but Danny was able to troubleshoot and find the solution. He was extremely professional and we will use him for all of our repairs in the future.

Stay away from this company!!!!! Everyone I dealt with from that company lied to me. Unfortunately I didn't find out until afterwards, but they lie right on their website. Their website says they are accredited by the Better Business Bureau, but if you look them up on the BBB website, it says this company is NOT BBB accredited, and they have been warned to stop advertising that on their website.
I called this company to fix my dishwasher. I should have known something was wrong when they failed to show up at my house for the scheduled appointment TWICE! Both times, they failed to call me to tell me the technician was not going to show up. I had to call them. They told me the first technician was called away on some emergency, and the second technician had a flat tire. After setting up at third appointment with them, they promised the the technician would call me 30 minutes before they appointment so that I could be home to let him in. Of course, that guy shows up unannounced without calling me, and I had to drop what I was doing and race home to let him in. He spent less than a minute looking at my washer, and told me I needed a new control panel. He charged me the $65 service fee, and told me he would order the part and the company would call me within 3 business days to schedule the repair. After not hearing from the company for 3 business days, I called them. The lady that answered the phone said she would speak with the technician can call me back. After giving me multiple excuses about not being able to get a hold of the technician, two days later she finally called to tell me that the part finally came in, but it was damaged. When they called to order another one, it was suddenly on back order. She said they couldn't fix my dishwasher after all. They offered no apologies for wasting my time, but they were very eager to offer to sell me a new dishwasher and give me a great deal on the installation.
This company is full of incompetent liars! Stay away!!!!! BTW, I ended up calling a different repair company who had no problems ordering the correct part, and told me it was not on back order. -
My washer was leaking and Miriam was able to get a repair tech to our house same day! I appreciate the quality and communication. I will use them again for any other appliance repair

His response time and consent communication is something that everyone should strive to achieve in the service industry. He sent us text messages throughout the day to unsure everyone was able to adjust their schedule accordingly to minimize any work delays. 5 stars for his performance and his attitude. I will be calling again if anything should break in the future.
