An incompetent service company. Paid them a $100 service fee to come inspect my refrigerator. Technician said they would call with an estimate. They never called after a week so I called them. Was put on hold both times for over 15 minutes and eventually hung up. They still have not called and almost 2 weeks. Person that answers the phone is very short and rude. I would like my $100 back.

The technician arrived on time and was knowledgeable, trustworthy, and professional. He replaced the wheels on our dryer and vacuumed it, the entire process was seamless, and our dryer is now working great. Katy Appliance Repair will be my first choice hands down.

Not sure what's going on over at this clown show but since COVID has completely disrupted the appliance supply chain and it's taking 6 to 9 months to get some appliances in (Bosch dishwashers for example) I'm sure they are slammed with people trying to get appliances fixed that they would normally just quickly and easily replace. Their website is nebulous as to whether or not they service Bosch dishwashers that are NOT in warranty. So I called to ask. First call, a guy picks up and says "K&N Service" and then immediately places me on hold without another word. I wait a couple of minutes, he comes back on, I ask, "Do you service Bosch appliances that are NOT still in the warranty period?" He hangs up on me. I call back thinking maybe it's just an accident. A woman picks up this time. I say, "Hello. I am just trying to find out if you guys service Bosch dishwasher that are not still under warranty?" She hangs up on me. Bewildered, I call back a THIRD time in less than 5 minutes... get a different woman, I ask the same question--she says "Yes. What's the address?" I give her the address... she clicks a few keys... then says "The service call to diagnose the problem is $135." $135... for... oh.. a few minutes of drive time (they are 1.4 miles from me... due north across 610) and probably less than 15 minutes to diagnose the problem. (Dishwashers are not that complicated.) My normal appliance guys charge about 1/2 that amount... but they don't service Bosch right now. They probably KNOW that parts are just as hard to get for these at the moment as completed machines... and/or the repair will be so expensive that it simply won't be worth it; so they'll pocket the $135 for 15 minutes of "work" and move on to the next sucker. Looks like I'll be buying a Whirlpool this time... :)

I spoke with a crystal and she was so rude and talked over me the whole time. Her customer service skills were very poor and I didn't feel like my business mattered since I didn't get even a chance to clearly explain my issues or what I needed done. I own a company that does outdoor kitchens so I was actually looking to hire you guys for some service of them but I am taking my business else where. Crystals attitude and demeanor towards paying customers will put you out of business

K&N has a great reputation. I'm not sure why. It has a nice showroom, and you can make some choices by what they show but that is what you would expect from an appliance dealer.

We wanted Dacor appliances for our renovation, but were steered toward Monogram by the sales rep (now retired) as well as our contractor due to supply chain concerns, as well as denigrating comments on Samsung quality. That may or may not have been good advice but the delivery has been awful.

We purchased and paid for the complete appliance suite in November 2021, and we told that the order would be in January 2022 in order to avoid supply chain issues with other vendors. That was way ahead of when we would need them, but we were just being conservative.

It's now October 2022. The refrigerators, ovens, and dishwasher are great. That's not K&N's doing, it is GE. But we had one Monogram cooktop delivered to our apartment, shattered. The replacement sent to K&N also shattered. Now when we ask when we will get our cooktop delivered, 11 months later, the answer is that GE is not comfortable with their shipping service. No definitive timeline. Really?!?

And the warming drawer purchased in November 2021 may be in by December, 13 months after being ordered. Yay, a very belated Christmas present to myself to fill in the gaping hole in my kitchen wall.

This may, or may not be K&N's fault but there is no reason to believe they provide a premium service. Look elsewhere.

Have had two other repair companies come out before K & N. Travis was the first guy who was thoroughly knowledgeable about our Viking refrigerator. It took two trips to get it running correctly as we had several issues. On the second trip Travis brought out the part he predicted we needed. We are running good and do not need to buy an new one!

Ice maker wouldnt make ice. Tech said needed new ice maker and would order and set up installation. Never heard from them again. So I started learning how they worked. Ended up being a broken pin in the harness. Spliced a new connector on it and it’s solid as a rock. K&N is terrible. The techs are not very good technically Or professionally

I had a terrible experience. It took me over a week of back-and-forth to get someone even scheduled to come over. Once they finally came over they charge me $225 to basically clean the freezer and tell me that it’s going to cost upwards of $800 in repair and they weren’t even sure that would fix the problem. It would’ve been nice knowing all of my freezer food was left out long enough to thaw out. I wound up having to throw away about $250 worth of food. The guy said he’d call me back the same day or at the latest the next day with an estimate. After hearing nothing from anyone after a couple days I called to see what was going on. The person on the phone said that someone would call me back. No one did. After almost 3 weeks of no word and leaving two messages I finally got a hold of someone who said they would email me an estimate.

When I got the estimate...here was the email response:
Apologies for the delay on getting the info for your freezer, but appears I have incorrect data and I have been unable to research the parts needed. Is it possible to send over a picture of the tag on the unit? It holds all the information.

Basically I waited 3 weeks for them to put me back to the beginning. Ridiculous!

Do yourself a favor and go with companies with a five star rating. They’ve earned a five star rating for a reason. I should’ve done my research before calling this company. Will never use again and highly recommend that you don’t either!

Terrible service. They came out to my house 4 separate times to fix the same appliance and charged $150 each time, even if the repairs were basic/minimal. I tried to fight it the last time and they wouldn’t budge because it had been “more than 30 days” since the previous visit.

I had an issue with my washer not draining. I saw the good reviews K&N Repair Service received and decided to give them a chance. Their tech arrived ahead of time, was polite and well mannered. He fixed the issue very quickly. A pleasant experience overall.

Just wanted to say another good word for the folks at K&N. Because the space for my new dishwasher was a little fussy, Jesse and Michael were sent back to have a look when I had some small issues after the initial hook up. They were wonderful. They solved the issue quickly without charging me for the visit, and are generally good people—courteous, prompt, good at communicating their time frame. So worth noting, K&N is a company that follows up *after* you've given them your money buying appliances. Their ethics and service are much appreciated.

Believe the negative reviews. Rude, unprofessional, and terrible service. They will not honor their warranty. I wasted $1200 on a Subzero refrigerator repair, and the repair failed. Now, they want to charge me to come out again to check. The people who pick up the phone are the worst. They will treat you like garbage. No wonder Wolf Subzero dropped them as an authorized dealer.

Absolutely horrible customer service from a severely mismanaged company.

By all means, avoid this company at all costs…

If you’ve been assigned to the K&N circus by a home warranty company, call the company back immediately and asked to switch to a different service provider; K&N is incapable of helping anyone.

If you’re contemplating using my K&N for any other reason, don’t.

They’re a garbage company which provides garbage results, at best.

Great selection of appliances and the transaction went smooth with the sales associate it’s the post purchase that has been a frustrating process for us. I was told that someone would come out and look at our electrical outlet prior to the oven being delivered to make sure that no additional electrical needs are needed. No one called and no one passed by. The oven was delivered only to find out that we need a whole new receptacle added and connected to the breaker in the garage. I called KN appliance to see if they had someone that help with this installation, I was given a name of their electrician who never returned my call.
They are not thorough with the installation process. It just felt like they just need to make the sale and not responsible for anything after to help with installation.
No post purchase phone call either to see what our experience has been.

K&N technicians came to fix the door stoppers of the freezer. The doors
were left uneven and with a squeak.
When I called to explain the situation, they hung up the phone and said not to call again. After I spoke with a different person they sent a quote charging again $$$$ for fixing the poorly done job…

Would definitely not recommend using the company.
The tech they sent to my house charged additional fees without getting additional work cleared while also dropping racial slurs in my kitchen within earshot of my children.
He then tried to scam my spouse into paying close to 600 bucks to change a 25 dollar igniter because it tested bad and was a safety hazard.
Strangely enough after looking up the specs and checking it with a voltmeter today it’s fine
    .
I spoke to the owner Travis and he was more worried about a cuss word on the phone (I admittedly did cuss I was pretty hot) than his employee Jerry’s garbage behavior in my home that he denied.

I used this outfit because they had previously worked on the appliance in the past for the previous owner but I would definitely recommend finding better people to deal with.

Do not use this company! They overcharged, made one problem worse than when they first showed up and the repair person misdiagnosed an issue and was deceitful. I do not recommend them for any repair needs.

Last week my washing machine died. Big problem in a house with kids. I submitted a request online and was called within 10 minutes. They said they could have a repairman to my house between noon - 4pm. This was at 11:40am.
Ramil showed up within 30minutes. He was polite, and efficient. Had my washer fixed within about half an hour at a fraction of what I was expecting to pay.
Overall it was less than two hours from request to completion.
I can’t recommend this company high enough, they deserved even more than the five stars I gave.

Our stove quit heating and I called Superior Appliances Repair, based on their google reviews. They were not wrong! They arrived very quickly, found the issue and even came in on a Sunday to install the new part! I would recommend them to anyone!

The repairman was friendly, professional and helpful! He explained the issue to us and what he was doing to fix it.

I contacted Superior Appliances Repair for a drier that wasn’t heating. They had a technician sent out same day who identified the issue and had the unit repaired (and cleaned) in under an hour. I was very satisfied with the service and promptness.
