I’m happy to write a very positive review of the very professional experience i have had with Uptown Appliance and my many appliances that were both serviced and repaired. First, they kept their word and did what they said they would do and did so on a timely basis. The workers, Kevin and Héctor, were professionals at all times. They knew exactly what the issues were and while parts had to be ordered, they were able to repair my equipment and get it in good working order relatively timely. They were respectful of my floors and furniture as they worked and left my house as clean as it was when they first arrived. I highly recommend Uptown Appliance and, in particular, Héctor and Kevin.

Once again I am happy with the service from Uptown Appliance. Alberto trouble spotted some issues with my Bosch dishwasher. He made adjustments and my washer is working correctly. He is very professional, friendly and offered explanations related to its functioning. I really appreciate a technician who’s committed to customer care. Over the years I’ve used other companies here that service high end appliances. Exceptional service from start to finish. This company is clearly built to handle sophisticated, complex, high-end appliances with the proper care, respect, and technical precision they require. Their organization is outstanding. I was notified when the technician was on his way, and he arrived exactly on time.

The technician, Jerry, immediately demonstrated a high level of expertise. He was able to identify the exact cause of the failure within minutes and, even more impressively, had the necessary parts on hand to complete the repairs on the spot. In less than one hour, he successfully serviced my microwave oven, coffee machine, and ice maker. That level of preparedness and efficiency is rare in this industry.

Jerry was extremely polite, highly knowledgeable, and genuinely customer-service oriented. He protected my countertops and floors before beginning any work and treated both my home and my appliances with the respect they deserve. Considering the value and sensitivity of these high-end units, I was initially very cautious, but he exceeded every expectation.

If you are concerned about who you allow into your home and whether your appliances and property will be treated with proper care, I strongly recommend using only this company. I have had multiple negative experiences in the past with other service providers, and this was a complete contrast. They over-delivered in every aspect and restored my confidence in professional service.

Oscar from uptown came and was able to fix an ongoing icemaker issue that no other company was able to fix, we had about 4 other companies before uptown and none of them could get the noise on our hoshisaki icemaker fixed, óscar came and was very dedicated and took his time to understand the problem and solved the issue within 30 minutes. I’m extremely impressed with the company and how excellent Oscar carried himself, extremely professional and very knowledgeable. You get what you pay for! Hector did an absolutely superb job in fixing my refrigerator. Being without a refrigerator for almost one week was an absolute nightmare, but uptown were quick to identify the problem before sending Hector to come in and swiftly fix my refrigerator. I am very thankful for all his help and I will definitely be looking for his services again.

Uptown installed a new under counter kitchenaid ice maker for me about 7 months ago. That experience was great. My last ice maker was my worst enemy so I wanted to do everything right this time, and I definitely came away feeling they expertly installed th machine.

It was now time for the machine to be cleaned and once again I wanted to do it right. Uptown’s appointment process was pretty easy, though they did give me a window of 8-3. The technician, Anthony, did send me a message 15-20 minutes before he showed up so that was really nice.

I’ve tried to clean ice machines and I’ve seen ice machines cleaned so I have some idea what to expect. Anthony did a thorough job in a timely manner. He answered my questions and was polite and professional (and even friendly towards the dog!).

I won’t hesitate to call Uptown and Anthony again whenever my appliance needs come up.

He took the time to explain the repair, made sure everything was installed correctly, and confirmed the dryer was fully working before leaving. I try to explain my dryer situation to the customer service and the guy who answered phone call hang up my call twice.

I called and found the person I dealt with extremely rude when I asked for a referral for a dryer vent replacement service. Even if I only needed a cleaning, I would not do business with this organization. Life is too short.

Two young professional workers fixed a complex problem with bird nests in my vent. The work was fast, and everything cleaned. The cost was far below other contractors quote. I highly recommend them.

I was a little leery about this warranty work in the company they choose, but Ratmir from Intel Fix was great. He was very personable and could fix anything. If you get assigned Intel Fix for your warranty work, ask for Ratmir.

Did a repair under an LG warranty. It leaked after they did it and would not come back to fix it. It would have been better to have used our regular katy appliance repair. both LG and this company would not get my recommendation.

Horrible experience. Dryer out of service, couldn't come until 6 days later. Once there, stated they needed parts and it would take 3-5 business days. 6 BDs later, I contacted them just to be told that it will be another 3-5 business days to get the parts. Seriously? I could have got the parts myself next day as a consumer. Unless you can go without your major appliance for 2-3+ weeks, GO ELSEWHERE!
