Byrd’s plumbing has come out twice to my home and each time has been a great experience. Very professional yet personable and their prices fit my budget.

The service I received from Byrd's Maintenance was economically priced.
They were on time and efficient.
I will be using them again.

Would definitely recommend very affordable and will work with you . Had a pipe burst and had to replace the pipes and move a washer also had to replace my shower handles that I let someone else work on before them replaced . (Thank You Ms Angie (Byrd’s plumbing is a life saver )

I wouldn’t go to them again. They charged me $350 just to open up my ceiling. That’s before making any repairs to the leak I had and after a $75 visit fee. I’m not sure if this is standard but $350 to make a hole in the ceiling? Excessive and abusive. Then they said they wouldn’t fix the drywall because they’re not drywall repairmen which I understand but if that’s the case, why would you charge me $350 to open up the drywall if you’re not a drywall repairman?

I’ve had work done with another company and they didn’t charge me to open up the ceiling. I didn’t try to find anyone else this time because I was under a time crunch. I hate that people try to take advantage of others in tough situations.

I do want to say that despite this, the owner was kind and courteous enough to let me know of another potential issue with my HVAC as a consequence of the leak. That said, I also think they’re the ones the cut the air duct when making the hole in the ceiling. How ironic after charging me that $350 cutting fee.

Mrs. Angela was very detailed about the property that she oversaw. She was extremely transparent about the the things that needed to be updated. I would recommend her property company to anybody who have any type of privately owned property that needs to be managed. She is the REAL Deal! Not only is she a great manager she is also good at getting any maintenance problems solved ASAP! This property management company has nothing to do with her very successful, black owned, female owned plumbing company.

I was intentionally sent to this contractor through my home warranty. I called to get a service scheduled since I was not given a call by them. She(Angela)was beyond rude. Short answers and keep interrupting what I was trying to ask. I was told by her they wouldn’t be able to make it to my side of town until next week and the way it was expressed was obviously that she didn’t care at all. I finally gave in and told her ‘thank you’ and hung up. She obviously had better things to do and “l” was interrupting her. I Instantly got back on the phone with my Home warranty to have a different contractor scheduled to come to my home.

I hired this company to fix some plumbing at my residence and during the process of them fixing the problem they ended up breaking my dishwasher door, when asked about it. They lied like they never touched the dishwasher which was very confusing because they had to remove the dishwasher to fix the plumbing problem. Im In disbelief because my dishwasher worked perfectly before they started any work. They are very unprofessional and I would not recommend them to my worst enemy

This guy David messed up my neighbor when the freeze came through Houston by telling him to just turn the water off, but not drain the water from the pipes.

Now he's left my kitchen faucet looking unprofessional and dripping and won't fix it without tearing out our wall or ruining our kitchen tiles. Wouldn't recommend to a homeless person under duress. Find better service from anyone else. If we hadn't paid cash, I'd dispute the charges.

I am more than pleased with the services! They were prompt, courteous, informative, and did a quality job in a very timely manner. The price was quoted and it was very fair. Once they assessed the problem closer they adjusted the price to fit the work. I wouldn't have known any different. I think this speaks for the integrity of the company and it's employees.

I got my plumbing things done for my commercial property. Angela is very reasonable and friendly to work with. She saved me a lot compared to other companies as they wanted to change most of parts which were in good condition. I'm glad I found Byrd's and Angela for plumbing services.

Byrds maintenance provided excellent service from setting up the appointment to arriving on time to get the work done. I called for a shower head leak, and they came out right away, fixed it, better than it was, left and was so kind, informative and professional. I highly recommend this company and would use them again.

Byrd’s came out to the house right away! Their technician was very professional and knowledgeable. He got the problem fixed quickly, cleaned up and and was on his way.
There were some issues with charges on the bill due to factors outside of Byrd’s control, but worked with me on a solution.

Byrd’s Responded to my needs IMMEDIATELY… Excellent service began with the 1st contact (the very next day) from Miss Angie (she was very polite and accommodating). Someone came out immediately (and assessed the situation)… My Hot Water Heater was Replaced within 2 days… Chad was Great (very knowledgeable). He even came back out to do a Quality Check. GREAT EXPERIENCE (Above & Beyond)… 10 STARS!!

Angela the owner and operator of Byrd Plumbing was a joy to work with. On the same day I called, last minute on my part, she scheduled an inspection of a very badly corroded, leaky length of pipe under my house. The next morning her crew was at my house. They cut out the bad sections, added new plumbing and completed the repair in little more than an hour. The price was fair and the work was fast and professional. I would recommend Byrd and use Angela's company again.

Byrd's was dispatched through my warranty company and I had a service tech sent to my home. He/she couldn't figure out the problem and left fairly quickly because it seemed like the issue had cleared itself up according to them. The next morning, the issue reappeared. I contacted my warranty company to have them sent out again and was told I needed to contact the company myself to set up a second time. As I called, the person that answered told me that she was there yesterday and there was no problem. I tell her that the stoppage is back this morning. She tells me that someone must have put something in there to stop it up since she had been there. The lady was rude point blank. So I called the warranty company and had them send out another company.

The fact that the problem couldn't be figured out while she was there isn't an issue for me. As long as you come back out to fix the problem a second time. BUT the tone this lady used and to suggest I did something to my own toilet in the few hours since she had been there instead of just offering to come back out was way over the line.

I won't be a customer and honestly don't care whether he/she reads this message, but maybe it'll make you think about how you talk to your customers in the future.

I liked the fact that they came within a few hours of calling but charging $195 to snake a toilet in less than 5 minutes is pretty excessive in my opinion. UPDATE: Two days later the toilet stopped flushing again. So they came back out and snaked the toilet again. This time they say if it happens again they will have to remove the toilet to see what the problem is. I don’t understand why they didn’t pull up the toilet to find out what was wrong the first time they came! They charged me $195!!! Do some work for that $195! Pull the toilet up and see what the problem is don’t just snake it a few minutes and leave. Anybody with a commercial grade auger can do that! I will keep updating until my problem is fixed. I had to call them out again two days later and sure enough he only used the auger BUT IT DID NOT solve the problem! I finally had to call another plumber and they actually removed the toilet and inspected it and saw that the wax ring had deteriorated so they replaced it and reset the toilet and I haven’t had a problem since. I think Byrd plumbing was out to make a fast buck instead of solving the problem. I was ripped off! DO NOT USE THEM

Great reviews is all I can give Byrd's plumbing service. They were on time, waiting for me when I arrived. The service was exceptional and the employees were very professional. We were referred to this company . She came out gave us a quote and finished the job! She gave us detail information on what was happening gave us tips on what not to do from now on. We had so much damage and rigged work done before by other companies. She came in with her team and they cleaned everything up that was not fine correctly. Kept me informed the entire time. We appreciate this company so much! Definitely recommend to anyone that needs a plumbing job done correctly!
