My technician was patient and detailed. He was very knowledgeable and took his time to share his wealth of knowledge which gave me peace of mind before, during, and after the install. This was not the least expensive option but his customer service sold me giving John Moore my business. Keep up the good work.

John Moore: you need more technicians like this one.

They came out the same day I called, which is where the positivity ends. The rep felt the need to ask about how much acreage I have, which had nothing to do with the job.
I had already dug out everything needed to evaluate the leak in the yard. He looked at it for less than 30 seconds and told me it would be a $4500 minimum charge. It ended up just being a small PVC replacement, which I did myself. Not sure how they get business with quotes like that.

My original appointment was between 12 and 2 pm on November 22. I was called around 3 to be told they were running late. Finally showed up around 5. 1st guy did his inspection, then had to call someone else out to "jet blas" my main line. He then had to send a tech out to do the actual work. After he cleaned the line and unclogged it, he ran his camera to find that I had a crack in the main line under the foundation. He set me up with another appointment for 3 days later, to have someone else come back out to give me a quote on how much it would be to replace the main line. The quote was for $19,549.93. I attempted over the next week and a half to get a hold of the guy that came out to ask questions. I left 3 messages and was given time frames that he would return my phone call, I never received the a return call. I called to talk to a supervisor, I was told that I needed to talk to the guy that came to my house first. I informed them that I had tried to call 3 times, the lady I talked to could see it in her notes. She promised he would call that day. Yep it has been well over a month and I never got a return call.

So today, Jan 2nd, I got a letter in the mail from John Moore "I want to personally thank you for choosing John Moore for your repair and for trusting us with your home. We hope our team took excellent care of you throughout the entire process and that your problems were expertly and quickly solved." 1 - they did not take "excellent care" of my home. 2 - there was not anything expertly or quickly solved. I NEVER heard back from them.

Please do not use John Moore, find someone locally owned to go through.

I’ll be honest- generally John Moore is not my first choice but I was completely impressed with Leonard and his team when they came to give us a diagnostic report on our generator. He walked me thru his findings and didn’t pressure. On price, I was shocked as it was equal to other competitors we had give us their diagnosis. I always thought they’d mark up the price but they were the same as the others. Thank you and your team, Leonard.

Eli Amador conducted a thorough roof maintenance repair and fixed several major issues in a timely manner all by himself. He is highly skilled, hard working, knowledgeable, professional and efficient in his work. The issues were repaired with an extremely reasonable price. I highly recommend Eli for any roof replacement or problems one might have. We are pleased with his work.

For context, the backflow “bell” on my sprinkler system failed during a freeze, causing a pipe to burst and forcing me to shut off the main water supply to my house. As a first-time homeowner in Sugar Land, Texas, this was my first experience dealing with this type of issue.

A technician from John Moore responded and charged $899 to temporarily cap the damaged line so that water service could be restored to the home. Within approximately 10 minutes of inspection, he provided the following estimates:

$3,000 to repair the sprinkler system

$5,000 to repair plumbing beneath the driveway to the street

$33,000 to replace water piping throughout the home

He gladly pointed out that they offer financing.

A few days later, I contacted a local irrigation specialist and sent photos of the issue. They immediately identified that the sprinkler system had a separate isolation valve and advised that the repair could be completed for approximately $250. They came out a few days later and fixed the problem.

The takeaway is this: if you need immediate service and are willing to pay a significant premium, John Moore can provide rapid response. However, for non-emergency situations, I strongly recommend seeking alternative providers. Their pricing appears substantially inflated relative to local specialists.

Mr. Eddie was timely and professional. He assessed the problem and gave recommendations for the work. He was knowledgeable and completed the work with precision and expertise. The appointment set up was quick and I was able to have a resolve same day.

Julian Monroy was very thorough. My husband said he would like to use Julian again. He was very impressed with his thoroughness… he replaced the outlet for our dryer and checked our breaker box And tightened the wires on the breakers!! When and if we need assistance again, we would absolutely like for Julian to come back!!

Derrick did a great job installing a light fixture on my vaulted, sloped ceiling. Very professional. Make sure you use a coupon from their site as price was high.

Trent @ John Moore continues to be excellent. We ran into an issue over the weekend and he was here bright and early Monday morning to take care of it with a smile on his face. I have nothing but positive things to say about John Moore. I highly recommend Trent and the John Moore team.

Service was great. I like the texts they send you on who will be arriving, along with a picture and tracking of when they will be here. Klodi, the service tech, came in and found the problem of our garbage disposal not working. He gave us multiple choices on the garbage disposal. He was just very professional and nice. Also, offered us a warranty. Will use John Moore again for sure. Hope you give them a try. They also did not charge us for coming out on a Sunday.

Absolutely excellent service! Representative John Cantu arrived on time, smiling sincerely, and offering his hand as he introduced himself. He assessed my request for a home generator, walked my property, took measurements, and made a call to clarify. Ultimately it wasn't mean to be (Patio homes have very little space for full home generators) - but he was courteous all the way to the end of our visit. Thank you John, for your patience. I will always call John Moore for service. Thanks all!

John did an Outstanding job on drywall & paint job! Very kind & professional. He takes pride in his job & took his time making sure everything looked great! He had me look at the work to check to make sure I was happy. Definitely recommend.

Don't even bother calling these guys. I called for an HVAC system replacement and they quoted approximately $50K for a system! A similar system was quoted to me for only $12K. This is predatory pricing, aimed at people who don't know any better or fail to shop around. I ended up going with a higher end system for about $15K installed by a respectable company. Do yourself a favor and do not fall for these extremely inflated prices! Lose their number and go with ANYONE ELSE!!!!

An honest plumber!! Angel was friendly, professional and efficient. He came in assessed the problem and finished the job in a timely manner!! Could not have asked for a better person!! Also, his presence was calming. I felt comfortable with him!

Angel Calderon was our technician for plumbing services and he was very professional and knowledgeable. He answered our questions and took time to inspect the outside in spite of the rain. He also used shoe covers each time he came into our home and displayed patience and my husband and I agree for a date to schedule for services. We called John Moore first because of the commercials we see often and we know we would receive excellent customer service. Thank Angel and thank you John Moore.

Great job on work. Price was outrageous $1,150 for less than an hour of work and he used the new faucet I had bought earlier today. But the plumber was super courteous and professional. I will use John Moore again if I need work done.

Excellent customer service. It was easy setting up an appointment and they even offered a free estimate, they gave me upfront pricing even including how much it would cost if their first attempt at fixing my plumbing issue was not successful and they had to be more invasive. I would definitely recommend John Moore for plumbing services and shout out to our technician Daniel H., he was so polite and did not pressure us to commit to their services, he was honest and forthright and we are very pleased with his work.
